Loved the view and the location was amazing right next to the lake and opposite the Castle and café. Also the ensuite bathroom was lovely. You could watch YouTube on the TV...

The address didn't have the street number on and the flat was up some steps beside a restaurant that was closed so there was no one to ask where it was as the name 'Castle view'was nowhere to be seen. It was my fault that I hadn't realised that my phone data wouldn't work in Switzerland as it did in the rest of Europe so an earlier phone call could have saved us a lot of searching time. ( We were helped by the kind people at the Café who rang the owner from there - they were fantastic). We didn't meet anyone as everything was done over the phone. There is no air conditioning so it was important to get in and close the curtains and window to keep the heat out, but there is a small fridge which is helpful. No kettle or coffee maker.

I recently stayed at Castle View with my wife, and we highly recommend it! The price is reasonable, and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The boss responds promptly to messages, and our room and bathroom were both clean and well-maintained. It's a quiet place, perfect for relaxation, with stunning views of the castle and lake. Watching sunsets from our window and the rooftop terrace was a highlight. If you're looking for a beautiful retreat, this is the place to be! Mac

Located opposite the castle, on the side of the road. However, when the windows are closed no car noise comes inside. The view from the windows - on the lake and the castle - is beautiful. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very helpful.

There is some noise in the room entire night, probably that's the way the air ventilation is built. Otherwise the place would be just perfect as a one night stay. As the place is a 40-50 minutes walk from both neighbor towns, the only place to eat is the restaurant on the ground floor. It looks great, however, we did not have a chance to experience it, as it was closed for both dinner and breakfast (low season, I guess).

The location is just behind the fort of Chillion and is perfect if you like to SUP cause you could water in just on the bottom of the fort a🥳 Bus stop is also straight in front of the hotel and also 2(!) restaurants are underneath of it 👌 The owner and manager Michel is super friendly and and answers questions directly and helps with all you need! My stay was absolutely wonderful. The room had a stunning view of the castle and lake, making it a serene escape. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway with beautiful views.

While the setting of this hotel was undeniably lovely with its picturesque views of the castle and lake, I was disappointed to find that there was no hairdryer available in the room

For us very good localization, view over the lake, easy checkin, good contact with owner, clean, warm room

The only challenge is parking - the places around the hotel have limited time for parking so you cannot just leave the car for full day on most days

The Hotel Location is a blast! Straight opposite the castle Chillion where is also a bus stop! Underneath the hotel are 2 Restaurats. Go 4 the Gill Mountain. We just had our best dinner there if you like meet. In the middle of the table you make your BBQ by yourself 🥳 High quality food for a mod-rate price! Our waitress Victoria was amazing 👌🙏

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room has a beautiful view of the castle and the lake. Clean and cozy. Very nice staff. Bus stop nearby. There is a good beach opposite the hotel. I recommend it for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

I thank the owner of the hotel, Michele who helped me beyond his responsibility when I was a lone first-time visitor to Switzerland which was not easy at all. Kind Michele made my trip to Switzerland less difficult.

There was no sign for the hotel outside it. Therefore, I had some difficulty locating it.

Great location. Bus station nearby. Quiet room and comfortable bed. The shutters kept it very dark. A fan was provided, which was much needed.

A hand towel would have been useful.
