Everything good, as you expect from a normal hotel room. My room (407) had a desk with a nice chair to work on. Charging points at the desk and nightstand. The WiFi worked reliably (though not fast, I imagine they just throttle everyone so that it remains usable for all). Checking in an out was painless. The TV can be plugged out to not have unnecessary lights. The light in the room was a very nice indirect one. Everything was clean. The check-out at 12 is very nice, most places require you to leave earlier.

Breakfast was basic, but at least all the right basics if you're not vegan(-preferring). In the room, I had no noise issues because other guests were perfectly quiet during the night and morning, but insulation could be improved because earlier in the evening some people talking in the hallway were *very* audible through the walls/door.

The nice surprise was, that there was a garage at the hotel only for 12 EUR per night. The staff was nice, breakfast is good, hotel is close to centre, to the port and other attractives.

1. The half an hour before the end of the breakfast they don't bring the new dishes and coffee, so it's better to come earlier 2. Our room was on the -1 floor, there was no elevator and was rather dark, air wasn't very clear. With two children it wasn't pleasant to care all the bagage and pushchair by stairs. Anyway I suppose, that at the other floors the situation is better

We loved our stay here. All staff were soo lovely and welcoming and were easy to communicate with in English. The staff were also very helpful. The location is great, the rooms are clean and the breakfast options are the best, we ate there every morning.

Only thing is the room can get quite hot, this is more a personal preference, but it was hard to cool down on the really hot days. We are used to having air conditioning so it was an adjustment.

The staff was kind and very helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom was bigger than expected. The breakfast had many options, including gluten free bread, fruits, cereals, cheese, typical German products, coffee, tea and a variety of lactose free drinks. The location is also nice as the neighbour is quiet.

It was an affordable room with easy foot access to all the atrractions in Hamburg. The room was clean and quite large.

The bed was fine, but not great. Bicycle storage was out in the open under the stairway -- in view of the lobby desk, but not the most secure place if you are arriving by bicycle

Great location right to the green park and in a walking distance to the city center. No noise. Plenty of standard options for the included breakfasts.

We expected to see bath tube because we saw it on the pictures of the room. However, it was missing.

The room was very clean. We like the location of the hotel as it is near the Elbe and within easy reach of the ctiy centre by train. Breakfast was very good with lots of different options to choose from. We had been here before and so booked again. We particularly looked forward to the breakfast!

I would have liked the room to have been a little larger and with coffee and team making facilities.

Good price/quality, I was expecting less actually, based on the other reviews. The people at the reception were really nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect for us - there was bus stop in front of the hotel. The nearest metro (U-Bahn) stop is within walking distance. There are a lot of restaurants / Cafés nearby, as well as some supermarkets (Netto, Edeka, etc.). The hotel is a little bit old, however it has a charm - I liked the vibe somehow. Our room was actually for the price really good (58 Euros for 2 Adults with breakfast included), very quiet although the hotel is on a relativelly busy street. We had breakfast included in the price, the breakfast is nothing special, however was not bad at all - there were some fruits, warm bread buns, etc.

The bed mattresses were a little bit too hard for us, could be better.

Good location with easy access to the underground trains. The hotel offered a great deal including breakfast for our one night stay in Hamburg. The friendly staff made the stay hazzlefree.

Little disappointment was that access to the room was only granted after 3pm (as advised on booking), but still uncomfortable for morning arrivals.
