The property and rooms are gorgeous and very spacious. We did not expect such a large room in a notorious for small spaces town. The staff is SO nice and accommodating, you’ll get to know them and love ‘em for it. I would do unspeakable things to enjoy that world class breakfast spread again. Live honey comb, fresh daily juices, fantastic menus options and cook to supplement the buffet of amazing pastries. And THE POOL, its stunning.

We stayed a whole week and the gym was only facility I started to crave but was just too useless to use. To be fair I’ve found that problem just about everywhere and country in Europe though.

Excellent property. Clean comfortable beautiful modern furnishings. Impeccable service. Very nice breakfast with good gluten free options. Great location, walkable to all attractions.

The entrance is on a pedestrian only and very touristy street, need to get dropped off one block away and climb uphill a short distance. But if you call them as you approach they will send someone to help with the luggage. Getting to our room involved taking 2 elevators and maneuvering several steps. May not be ideal for someone with mobility issues. Sadly we had no view from our room, just a narrow street with apartments across, so our shades were down all the time.

From the exceptional ***** staff to the beautiful and very clean rooms, the high end decor, the fantastic restaurant (had dinner there one night and also had room service late one evening!) - everything was great!! AND this hotel is in a super location as well! We were in Portugal for 11 days and spent three nights here and while it was a bit more expensive - all in all - worth it!

Breakfast was not "included" as it was with all of the other hotels we stayed in on our trip. I think it was 20-24 Euro per day so we opted to get something as we headed out each day. Plenty of options and all close!!

We stayed at Casa da Companhia at the end of February, and it truly felt like a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff are some of the kindest and most genuine people we've ever met. Big compliments to whoever does the hiring, because you’ve brought together an amazing team who clearly care about giving the best service. Our toddler was tired from the trip and bumped his head right before we entered the hotel. Within minutes, a staff member brought us a towel with ice and even offered drinks and cookies for our little one. That small act meant so much to us as parents. On top of that, I was surprised with a bottle of champagne and a delicious dessert in our room for my birthday. Such a thoughtful gesture! The room was beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn’t have been better. Everything about our stay was perfect. We made wonderful memories in Porto, thanks in large part to this special hotel. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you so much, team Casa da Companhia! ♥️

Luxury from the minute we stepped through the doors - a glass of delicious port during a relaxed check in, delicious breakfast served until the civilised hour of 11, enormous bed and bathroom with every amenity and a fabulous spa area with large pool, sauna and steam room all of which were usually empty and available all day. At this hotel you feel the priority is the guest, staff are welcoming, considerate and attentive and nothing is too much trouble, even check out was simple and again at a civilised hour of 12 so no harassed bag packing! A truly first class experience, well done to all the wonderful team.

Spectacular facility. A true 5 star, super luxury at a definitely acceptable price! From the personalized check-.in, carefully set aside calmly and serenely while sipping port (both red and white to the correct fresh tempoeratura). Everything is taken care of down to the last detail, with amazing rooms, impeccable cleanliness, multiple steps throughout the day to open/close curtains as well as putting towels in front of the bed and so much more. Change of water and fruit in the rooms. A la carte breakfast at no extra cost, made on the spot by the chef with choice and seasonal products. Coffee and other drinks made by the bartender with professional machines. Buffet with great choice of savory and sweet, fruits and cereals. Location in the center of Porto, although inside seems to be far from everything because of the calm and silence. Very comfortable beds, darkness and peace assured. SPA with sauna, hammam and pool. One of the best hotels I have ever visited with unbeatable value for money. Attentive and caring desk service, ready to meet everyu request and reservations for restaurants ne much more, communicating later by phone any updates. I hope to stay there again, it was really a pleasure! Kudos to the staff, bar and front desk always very attentive and professional!

All of the staff were exceptional! We were greeted warmly on our arrival and every day we returned back to the hotel. Everyone we encountered was exceptional. A beautiful property in an excellent location. Breakfast was excellent each morning! The wait staff would even remember what we would want! Everything about the property was amazing, but what truly stood out was all the staff! Absolutely lovely stay!

I loved everything about this hotel. I cannot fault it for anything. It was absolutely lovely. The location was perfect. I wish I had stayed longer.

One thing is that it's not reachable by car unless it's a taxi or car service called for by the hotel. If walking up hill from a street away by taxi or public transportation is an issue, then keep this in mind. Also upon arrival, the check in is on the 2nd floor and there's no real indication in the entrance lobby showing that when you first enter the premises. These are just things to be aware of when booking and if they are issues for your party, then this may not be the place for you.

Beautiful building in a very central, but quiet, location. Very comfortable bedroom; very good shower room and twin washbasins. Excellent breakfast. Decent bar / small restaurant. Good indoor pool with loungers on the side. Staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. Easy walk to the river and around the historic centre. Plenty of bars / restaurants within a very short walk.

The fitness room is very small with limited equipment.

Location was phenomenal, hotel was tastefully decorated with hardwood floors. Wide selection for breakfast that ran from 07:00-11:00, with a buffet and a la carte options. All the staff were courteous, professional and friendly. Definitely would come back the next time I’m in Porto!

The restaurant food quality was sub par, ate there once for lunch and would not return. Fries were not seasoned well enough, steak was chewy and also lacked seasoning. Pillows and mattress could be of better quality given the hotel 5 star rating.
