Nice room- friendly staff

I arrived late after reception closed (room left unlocked- all good), so didn’t see notice struck to reception desk saying restaurant closed for emergency repairs until I wandered down to have dinner next night. Menu was still displayed in my room and no flyer announcing temporary closure in room or under the door. So plans for a glass or two of wine and a steak and no drink/drive worries were dashed. They texted me to explain late checkin procedure, surely they could have added line or two advising about restaurant.

Really liked the little restaurant, the food was beautiful. Was a shame it closes at 8pm. But the staff let you stay till you were finished and did not rush you at all.. lovely staff there, too. It was just the kitchen closed at that time. So very happy we made it. Check-in was so easy, and the place is always so clean and tidy. I've stayed here in April 2024 with my sister who visited from the uk, I then stayed again for my sons 21st in May, and now again in Nov

The floors in the bathroom are very slippery when wet, and walking onto the tiles is like ice. But that's it nothing bad to say at all

Great stay here at Coopers Colonial - can’t thank Donna enough for the warm hospitality and welcome and all round attentiveness. She was awesome! The facilities were clean, so much space for our 4ppl stay in the family room. Only minor snag was other people parking in the parking spot for our room, with a newborn and the rainy weather, it was quite stressful to get back and forth between the room And car because of it - this is not a reflection on coopers colonial or their staff, but more so the guests who didn’t use their common sense!

Parking is easy. Many parking lots. We are famiy of three adults staying 3 nights in Standard Twin room for Uni residential school study. Spacious room, big beds, a desk for study and a table for brekkie and meal, newly renovated toilet, quiet a lot of storage. The hotel is located at main road, so it is easy to find, definitely need a car. Take 5 mins drive to groceries shopping and restaurant, MacDonald, KFC, Domino Pizza....

Staying at upper floor, taking luggages up to the room by staircase. Kitchenette has small fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery only. For microwave meal or light tea only.

close to Brisbane and Oxenford parks, lots of restaurants and shoppings in car close proximity, room service except public holidays, coffee machine with capsules, Netflix TV in every room, good WI-FI, Aldi, Woolworth and BWS in 7 min walk, very friendly staff, lots of parking within the motel. Lady on the reception is very welcomed and helpful with advices, she even agreed to hold my reservation until we arrived when my automatic payment via booking.com didn't work.

No tent above the swimming pool, no elevator for the 2nd floor, 1 bathroom+toilet for 2 bedroom apartments although it looks like 2 bathrooms on the pictures. I had to borrow a chair for the lounge room for 4th person. King bed couldn't be separated in 2 king single beds due to the common mattress- motel would have the better vacancy chances if they could do it.

I like that you provided ample amount of toiletries e.g shampoo/body wash in your bathrooms. Location was great for what I needed to do and where I needed to go.

Toaster still had old crumbs at the bottom of it - needs to be cleaned or gently shaken out. My room door was between 2 outdoor table and chairs sets so other guests would sit outside my room on both sides making it awkward to come and go but it also meant I wasn’t able to use the area myself when I was onsite but I understand it’s shared. .

The room was soo clean and comfy. The shower was amazing and the towels were so big and soft. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very nice. The Rhys chicken was amazing and to find out it was named after the managers son just gave it that extra special touch..the wait staff were polite and accommodating and we were taken care of..The wifi in the room was great.i will definitely be back again.. it was good value and definitely worth the money... thank u 4 a fantastic stay..

I could not find a single thing I didn't like..

Second time staying here. The rooms are comfortable and accommodated us very well. The beds are good and everything is up to date. The location is great for what we needed. Not to far of a drive to the Gold coast or into Brisbane City itself.

Parking can be a bit difficult. We had to park away from our room. Also noise from the upper floors travels and can make it hard to sleep when people seem to be running around the room at 11pm

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was comfortable. The tv worked and I could watch all the stations including Foxtel. It was close to all the places that I wanted to travel to.

They need to look at the shower head in the shower. The room that I stayed in, the water was leaking out of the side of the shower head instead of the front of it.

Spacious clean room with kitchenette, which means we had a fridge to store additional snacks and breakfast food for kids. The room was also quiet and we heard no traffic noise and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the pool as well as the in house restaurant which served up an enjoyable meal, and topped our night by my watching a movie on Netflix, no account needed which was great.

The beds were on the softer side.
