Checking in was great and Mo showed me to my room. I was pleased with my room, the bed was comfortable, and there was a very nice, clean an suite shower room with a good shower. Toiletries were provided, although I brought my own. The breakfasts were superb. There was a large choice of cold buffet breakfast items and a choice of hot breakfast options. I also ate a few times during the evenings at my own cost. Again, excellent food and great value for money. The staff were all very pleasant. Special thanks to Ana-Maria and Mo for a very comfortable stay. I shall be booking again for my next trip to Inverness!
Nothing to complain about

I had booked a double room for five nights but was upgraded for free to a one-bed apartment with kitchen/living room, which was extremely comfortable and a lovely surprise. The location above the castle is excellent although quite steep up and down for those dragging luggage.
The breakfast was extremely generous but all a bit heavy, some lighter options would be nice. The filter coffee wasn't great -- an investment in a coffee/espresso machine or in some cafetieres would be well spent.

Yes, it was The Broom Cupboard, what it lacked in size, afforded all the facilities of the larger rooms with the solo/business traveller in mind. Good hospitality tray, plenty of drawer space and with a bit of initiative all could be packed away. The hard working staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast cooked to order with no buffet hanging around for hours and a good cold selection. I dined in the restaurant for two nights and all meals were delicious. Location wise, very central once you were able to negotiate the Market Brae Steps - not far from the station, shopping and restaurants. Wonderful walks along the river and the canal.
So, for the room rate, the room was very small but probably average for the high accommodation prices in general for Inverness. A couple of small niggles - although the shower was hot and powerful, the shampoo and conditioner were positioned too high for me to reach - I am only 4ft 10! Also for a three night stay I would have liked the single hand and bath towel to be refreshed. If there was a ‘towel in shower for replacement’ there were no notices.

Super staff throughout...particulr praise for Ana-Marie. Restaurant served us well, with many gluten-free options available at both breakfast and dinner. We would describe this property as "Relaxed yet efficient". The hotel is close enough to the city centre for walking, but it is at the top of a hill overlooking the castle. The quickest way is up / down is 40+ steps ... The patio area and bar was a bonus, as the weather was hot and dry when we visited. We arrived into the city on the overnight Caledonian Sleeper train at 08:45 ... and we were able to drop-off our cases this early, giving us the extra time to explore.
Nothing.

Redcliffe was one of the superb hotel stay we had in our UK Vacations. The staff personnel at the reception, restaurant and bar were all very polite and helpful. The Gordonstone room #4 allotted to us was very spacious, immaculately clean and well decorated. Breakfast and food we had was amazing. Real Scottish flavours we enjoyed at Redcliffe. Super Friendly and supportive staff. I had booked a experience with Macallan distillery and had to travel to their estate from Redcliffe. Irene was so helpful when I asked about this and she even suggested better ways I could travel safely and with much more cost effective than suggested by Google. Irene also suggested some nice whiskeys at their bar. Much Love :) Anna Marie was always attentive towards my daughters during breakfast time. She even helped my daughter with some prints regarding her admission process. Will love to visit again, just not for the good property, but for the warm hospitality of all people. Keep up the Loving work.<3
Nothing to Dislike at all.

Really enjoyed our stay at Redcliffe Hotel. The location was perfect and within a few minutes' walk from Inverness train station, making it very easy to access the rail service and bus around the city centre and Loch Ness. Room was spacious, clean and had a nice view of the castle. Friendly and helpful staff at reception helped us store luggage after check-out for a few hours until it was time for our train.
Our room was on ground floor near the building entrance, so we could hear people coming and going in the morning. A very minor point, since it was still very quiet at night and did not disturb our sleep.

The staff here is super friendly and accomodating! They will look after you and make a great effort! Really nice people! The Location is great, but if you arrive from the train / bus station on foot, there is a bit of a hill to climb. There is a great Pub in walking distance (5 min). The Breakfast is good with many different options (continantal, porridge, egg-variations, full scottish).
The whole place is a bit dated but still ok. For example: my shower-door didn't really close, because there was a screw missing, but appart from a bit of water on the floor, everything worked fine. The internet is a bit slow. If you want to stream something or need a faster connection for working, you will probably struggle a bit, especially at times, when all the guests are in (eavenings / mornings). The food in the restaurant is ok, if you prefer to eat in house, but I'd recomend to go out to eat - the pub-food in inverness it really nice!

Compact but clean and very comfortable room. Small shower room with good shower. Perfectly located in the centre of Inverness - near the castle - with plenty free parking on site. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent value given it was a Bank Holiday weekend and this included great breakfast. I would definitely recommend for travellers visiting Inverness.
The shower room was quite cramped but clean, with good, hot shower.

Our stay was perfect. Hotel had all the amenities. The room was spacious. The staff was helpful. The hotel also has a restaurant which was good. The cherry on the cake was the outside seating area where we had a lovely time. We stayed there for 4 days and nothing to complain.
One has to climb around 50 stairs to reach the property from the market area/bus/train station. However, there is alternate route (a little longer) with no stairs which we found later while exploring the place.
