The staff especially Annie. I would like to thank her for her exceptional service, compassion and knowledge. Nothing was too much .. Also the manager in the restaurant who made me feel welcome every morning. The room was spacious, great beds and pillows and lovely views.
Nothing … perfection

Fantastic location. Rooms are nice.
My son left his $80 worth of Dubai Chocolate in the fridge which he’d saved up for for many months. Along with some other unopened goodies. After checking out and calling the hotel once he realised - they claimed they throw everything in the bin. Given it was unopened and obviously valuable (in gold boxes) I thought that was a lame response. Can’t count how many times items left in hotel rooms have disappeared’ over the years. It’s usually me leaving a phone charger. But the response is always the same. And I think it’s just plain thievery.

Stayed here for an event directly across the street, so the convenience was the biggest plus for us. The proximity of restaurants within the building and down the street adds to convenience as well. Quick trips to and from the airports. Easy parking option and worth the money. The helpfulness and respectful service of the staff and made my friend and I feel very welcomed and culturally safe. Nice breakfast with amazing coffee served by cheery wonderful staff to start the day off right.
It's not a big deal but we waited for quite a while before we got the bottle of Bubbles that I had prepaid at booking. It needed 2 reminders. But this didn't detract from the amazing stay in any way.

Clean modern rooms well equipped with comfy beds and pillows..lovely pool..convienent location ...
On arrival staff misinformed us about parking overnight and got charged a high price on departure of $69 when first told $30 that would come out of my security deposit then told it was $35 by another staff and sorry you will not get a refund ??? Misinformation along with another staff told my friend in another room no one by name was booked in at the hotel? All staff need to be clear in communications to their guests ..

Staff are friendly and inviting. Beds are comfortable, buffet breakfast has plenty of variety. Rydges is really close to the RNA showgrounds, a great variety of eateries are just outside the door, close to public transport, and not too far from the RWBH. It's in a great location.
My only issue is with the bed being on wheels. I understand it needs to be that way for housekeeping. But I'm short, and every time I went to sit on the bed, it would roll away. I would then have a gap between the bed and the bed head.

Quiet, comfortable room, in a smart, clean hotel. We appreciated the pickup from the hotel which was included
There is still nowhere to put the soap in the bathrooms (despite mentioning this to management last time). You have to balance the wet soap on the flat top of the tap. There is no brake on the bed wheels, so when you lean on it or get in it, it skates across the hard floor (and in the case of twin beds, the one bangs into the other!). I paid for breakfast as I thought it was $28 for the room (which would have been good value) and it turned out to be per person (which we thought was too expensive for middling coffee-machine coffee, small, heavy 'sour-dough' croissants etc.

Great location. Good sized room. The bed was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. Lovely big shower.
Coffee pod machine didn't work ( possibly wrong pods for the machine). While there was a kettle, there were only sachets of decaf coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, so no coffee. I had noticed other reviews also commenting about the coffee pod machine, so it's very disappointing this issue has not been addressed. I had a very early flight and check out. I mentioned the coffee pod issue to the staff member ay checkn out and he kindly offered to let me use the coffee machine in the restaurant.

It’s a nice place in a good location
I feel like I was misled by the website and staff regarding the parking situation. You absolutely do not have on-site parking available. There is simply private parking garages near by. Those are full and it added major stress to my trip. We spend hundreds on Uber because we had to leave our car parked. If we moved our car we lost the park and had absolutely nowhere to park it we had to w wait for someone to leave the area!

hotel was only 1 available for 2 nights after I had missed my connecting flight to nz at 11.30pm. I got new flight at 11.30 following night so had to book 2 nights to stay 24hrs which was expensive after the costs of missing flights also. Hotel was tidy, friendly but restaurant booked out for tea so had to eat in room... rather sad. Wasn't helped with 2 large suitcases to or from my room. My breakfast tray stayed outside my room from 10am to 3pm which didn't look good.

Room was spacious, new and clean. Beds were very comfortable and shower was fantastic. Sound proofing was exceptional. Great location. Would stay again.
We were given a late check out of 12pm which was great as we arrived in the early hours of the morning but at 12.05pm we had staff knocking on the door and calling us on the room phone which was overkill. Breakfast staff in restaurant told us at least three times throughout our meal that breakfast finished at 10.30am which we were aware of. We felt rushed.
