The service was fantastic - I checked my partner and I in, and the staff were able to have a bottle of champagne waiting for us by the time we had parked the car in the $25 overnight parking. The champagne was at a very reasonable markup too. Very happy with the stay.

The beds were your fairly standard innerspring (1 point off for this) and I'd forgotten my own pillow, so my neck was a bit sore, but that's not particularly out of the ordinary.

We arrived from the airport by train, and the station area is a bit downmarket (lots of beggars and rough sleepers). However the hotel is a 10 minute walk away and is in a really nice area with lots of great bars and restaurants. The room was large and well equipped with a balcony. As well as the train, there were plenty of buses into the city centre but the best option was the Brisbane CityCat boat which was a 10 minute walk away. Great hotel for a stay in this lovely city.

The rooms were nicely appointed, clean and spacious. Fairly central location with lots of options near by for restaurants and bars. The location is slightly outside city centre but still walking distance, making it convenient and a little less busy than a central city hotel. Staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to assist.

The only thing really to be conscious of is there is no in hotel room service, although available, food is delivered from outside, although there are specific options to still have the charges billed to your room.

The room was clean and comfy, and it had all we needed for the night. The balcony looked over a courtyard with a huge Jacaranda tree, I’m sure in Spring it will be beautiful, it was pretty without flowers. The staff were amazing very quick check in and parking on-site a huge bonus in the city. The hotel is in a fabulous position within walking distance to anything in the valley. Public transport is everywhere you look. Great music venues and fantastic food. We will definitely be staying again.

Very centrally located. Walking distance to the river walk and nightlife. Very large room with a comfortable super king-size bed, a nice big balcony with sliding glass doors. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Although they don't serve meals on site, they are close to many great restaurants.

The only negative I have about this place is a lack of water pressure. It's definitely enough to get the job done and plenty hot enough, but the pressure could be better.

It was a damn nice room

The room lights weren't turned on; I put the key card in the holder, but it didn't activate. This probably had something to do with me checking in after 11pm though, so I'm understanding about it. I also went straight back out again and only got back in the early hours, so it really didn't affect me, and I didn't bother the staff with it (I'm sure they would've sorted it out if I had).

Clean twin room with desk and arm chair. Mini fridge with orange and apple juice, 2 small bottles of water and 2 cartons of milk for provided pots of dry cereal, also 2 oat bars all complimentary. Nice bathroom with shower. Usb sockets provided to charge your phone which is always a bonus when travelling abroad. Good location to shops and nightlife.

Room was quite small but we only stayed for one night so manageable. Would have be nice to have had a mirror above the desk in the room to do hair and make up. Good mirror and sockets in the bathroom but I personally like to sit down when getting ready.

We booked the 2 bed apt which was very spacious and suited our needs. The location was excellent- walking distance to James St, but still quiet. The apartment was clean and had some extras that made it very comfortable.

Minor niggle; we booked & paid for a car park but when we returned in the evening, none were available (not the hotel's fault) But the staff were helpful and suggested spots in the garage that could work so it was fine in the end.

I stayed here with a friend as we were seeing a show at The Triffid. The hotel is walking distance to The Gasworks precinct and we felt very safe walking to and from The Triffid. The room was a good size, as was the bathroom. There is a balcony however no chairs so unfortunately we couldn't sit out there. Limited parking is available underneath the building at $25 night.

A couple of chairs on the balcony would have been nice. And other than a teaspoon there was no cutlery in the room.

The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and as flexible as possible to meet my needs. This is a nice hotel in a good location for nightlife if you enjoy clubbing and Kings Cross style night entertainment. It is also close to a train station and lots of places to eat. There is ample street parking but that is often full. The hotel offers limited undercover parking for guests for a cheap price, but it has to be booked in advance. Don't leave it until your arrival or there probably won't be any spaces left. Your car will also have to be removed at the time of check out so if you are not leaving until later in the day then you'll have to find somewhere else to park your car.

The venue may not be convenient for anyone wanting to be closer to the main tourist attractions like Southbank or the Arts Centre or museums. They are all too far away to walk for most people. That said, there is a train station only a couple of blocks away. The location is more suited for younger people who enjoy clubbing, tattoo parlours, etc. but it does not feel like an unsafe area. I was quite comfortable walking the streets at nice because it is quite a bustling, vibrant neighbourhood.
