Proximity to a wide range of venues & facilities in the valley. This is our second or third time staying & we just love the artwork, the history of the building & the friendly staff. Absolutely love the fragrance that’s in the lobby! I have to ask what it is? 🙏🏻So my house can smell bougie too!!

Our room had a slight drain smell but we could overlook that small downfall. Also you used to be able to park next door in the parking lot but it’s now been taken over by BMW across the road so secure parking is a block away, bit of a walk with luggage which is a little inconvenient but in the scheme of things not a huge deal for our stay. Next time we’ll pull up out front & drop luggage off first as there is parking for this purpose directly out the front which is what we did when we checked out.

Has all the basic necessities of what you will need if your style is to get a safe place to sleep but you don’t want to spend all your time in the accommodation on a holiday. You get the value you paid for. A comfy bed to sleep in, bathroom with a very pretty basin, coffee tea making area, and a closet.

I get it that the style of the hotel is the unique art. But definitely not a fan of the artwork in the room. At night waking up to be staring at the creepy huge one eye painted on the wall, or the unsettling picture women’s face in the frame. Just doesn’t give a comfy and calming vibe. Right next to a club, depends on how light of a sleeper you are, I can see why this would cause many to give the place a lower rating. But, since I tend to listen to EDM-pop-style, high paced beat music as my form of relaxing, I didn’t find it a huge impact

I had 2 concerts to attend to over two nights at different venues. The Constance was very well located between the two venues and the train station. Staff interaction was excellent and provided a range of advice. My room colourful and interactive, Considering I was returning close to midnight each night, there were no issues and I slept well apart from the self-inflicted pain of standing at the concerts. I quicky worked out how to use the equipment in the room, i.e. remotes, lights, etc. I attended the small gym which was ample for me to use and had breakfast in the cafe, I would definitely stay again for other concerts I hope to attend in the future.

I had some difficulty getting hot water, but it related to my use of the mixer rather than a lack of hot water, and I finally worked out how to use it properly. Overall no issues with the room or the hotel.

The staff were really lovely and gave exceptional service. I was really impressed with how sound proof the rooms were given you could hear the music and noise from the club next door in the hallway walking up to the rooms of an evening. They have a 5pm checkout for $50 available on Sundays which was great. I know this is aimed at people going to the valley to party, but I had an evening flight out of Brisbane, so it was great to be able to do some extra site seeing in the morning, but come back to the hotel for a relax and much needed shower before heading to the airport.

I've stayed at The Constance before, and stayed again because of the amazing location of the place. The hotel itself is within walking distance of some of Brisbane's best night life, and the hotel has some of the nicest aesthetic of any I've seen (the history of the building is pretty clear to see, and it's very enjoyable for a history nerd like myself). The room itself was comfortable, perhaps a tad small, but definitely worth it. They warn you that the sound of the night clubs can be a tad intrusive, but they intentionally place long-term residents (2 or more nights) on the side of the hotel away from the noise, and if you plan to go out clubbing yourself (as I do), you barely even notice the noise. I always love staying here, and if I ever need to stay in Fortitude Valley again, this will be the first place I consider.

The room was a bit small, and the toilet screamed a little bit when it was flushed, which could be a bit disruptive for sleep during the night. I feel as though the air conditioner wasn't as effective as it could be (unknown why), and while the placement of our room was good for the noise, it was facing a wall. Honestly, though, the stay was very positive, I've got very little to complain about.

I travelled with my assistance dog, the staff were so professional and accomodating to my needs and my assistance animal coming. After having a horrible experience with a Hotel close by I was very hesitant to ever book a holiday again and almost cancelled my concert. They have completely changed my mindset now! What an easy, lovely stay we had, will definitely be back! They asked for proof for my assistance animal which is amazing to eliminate potential fake ADs. They were so friendly about it too! Very professional service. The beds were super comfy too. I also like how you need a key to get in after hours and into the elevator as it makes me feel extremely safe! I found the hotel as a whole, including the location and staff extremely accessible and welcoming. The location is very convenient if you are attending a concert and also a very quick walk from the train station.

helpful staff, nice and clean rooms, such a funky vibe to it. Nice and close walk to fortitude Valley Smelt amazing, had amazing blue led lights which made the room even better But we just loved the automatic blinds completely blocked out all light

The swipe cards kept logging us out so every time we went into the elevator we had to go back to the desk and get it done again.

The room was comfortable and everything was easily accessible, both within the hotel with the lift, and the location being close to Fortitude Valley train station/metro. This was very important to me as I have Cerebral Palsy and those factors made it possible for me to have a fun and active weekend without a great deal of discomfort.

The room key stopped working a couple of times, I had to go back to reception each time as I couldn't access my room.

Room was clean and modern, the art and room design was very cool. The room was large (King room). Great value for money and great location for events in the Valley. All staff were super friendly and helpful.

We were on the East side of the hotel, which is right next to a pub. The windows did a good job of blocking out the sound but you can still hear the bass from the music in the pub which went on into the small hours of the morning. Not the hotels fault, but a good set of ear plugs wouldn't go astray if you're staying there.

Perfectas we were going to a concert in the Tivoli. We booked with parking and parked in the car park next door. Close to fortuitudevalley and plenty of restaurants and bars near by. There is coffee lane and snack right next door .

Wish the parking had been for full 24 hrs as we were told we had to leave car park at 12pm - and would have liked to spend a little more time in the vicinity rather than leaving straight after brunch .piy as we couldn’t checkin in until after 2 pm so not a full day of parking included.
