Location was great. Coffee was delicious. Bed was super comfy.

The bathroom was completely glass (ie not behind a solid wall) but the glass was only frosted to about waist height. The entire bathroom not just the shower. We had to make a rule about not walking around the room whilst the other person was using the toilet to avoid awkward eye contact - not the romantic vision of the designer when they put the glass in I'm sure!

The bed was comfy, good black out curtains. Staff added an 11am late check out free of charge and were friendly. The location was perfect for us and tucked away in a pretty quiet part of the city.

It was very difficult casting netflix to the TV - it would randomly turn off every 15 minutes, and we'd have to completely start the process from the beginning. Watching TV isn't an absolute necessity, but while getting ready to go out it would have been nice for that to have worked properly. The heater/air-conditioning unit made a high pitched reasonably loud sound while on, no matter the fan speed. Also the room isn't very sound proof- we were awoken at all hours by people speaking loudly and slamming doors.

Fantastic professional, helpful staff. Clean room & very comfortable bed. Very close to the city, the Valley, Howard Smith Wharf precinct - walking distance even for 70+. Excellent access to public transport, restaurants, cafes, Roma Street Parkland. Very good breakfast selection, freshly prepared.

There are no laundry facilities on site which would have been very helpful for a longer stay.

Great location, close to everything, including shops, restaurants, bus stops, and sight seeing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is very cosy and welcoming. I have stayed before and will continue to stay, whenever I travel alone.

The air-conditioner in the room kept turning off. I woke quite a few times during my stay, sweating because of it. I informed staff of the situation upon check-out and they reminded me that reception is 24 hours, so to inform them during my stay, so they can fix the problem and make my stay more comfortable. I was very appreciative and the staff member was very kind - kept insisting on offering me a complimentary coffee or something to that affect, but it was not necessary as it was my fault for not remembering the manned reception times. The lighting in the bathroom is weird. The lights sit behind you as you face the mirror, so you're cast in shadow. I was still able to get ready but it was sort of annoying.

The facilities were clean, the staff were generally helpful and attentive. It was close to shops to walk to for food and accessible late at night. I liked that there was a cafe and places to sit in the morning.

The gym has no weights which would have been good. I also would have liked the cafe staff to be more attentive. I was overcharged and they didn't apologize.

I have to say the staff in the bar is absolutely great. They are so kind and friendy. My everyday breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. After checkout, the front desk also helped me keep my luggage until my flight time, that's appreciated. My deposit was refunded onsite!

The room doesn't have a balcony, there is a window but it exactly faces the sun. So on a sunny day, it's less useful

Friendly staff and great little onsite cafe that did really nice food. Walking distance to the Valley and in a lovely quiet street. We chose this hotel on things that we needed to be able to access and were more than happy with our stay. We would stay there again and it also has a 24 hour reception which can at times be handy.

Room could have been a little larger as there was not a space to leave my suitcase open or out of the way.

Convenient location to walk to entertainment precinct and explore downtown Brisbane. We didn't need an accessible room but I was happy to have one and found the bathroom facilities very well set up for a wheelchair user. Good to know for future travels with my companion who does use a wheelchair. The twin bed set up doesn't leave much room for a chair to maneuver but the switches and glassware are within seated reach. Recommend bringing a grippy/non-slip floor mat for safety in the shower.

From the promotional photos, I had mistakenly thought we would be staying in a charming refurbished heritage Queenslander building. This building is next door and used for functions/events not general accommodation. This led to a bit of confusion on arrival, but not a big deal.

the staff were really friendly, it was in a great location, the air con was amazing, it was just really lovely.

my only criticism of this place was the room service. we tried to order room service on the Saturday night. keep in mind we ordered it pretty much smack bang on 6 pm when it had just started for the night. they were out of coleslaw already and when my partner and I tried too get a chicken parmigiana each they said they only had one. so it was just a little odd and inconvenient but otherwise it was great.

I was sick and was only able to walk with my crutches so I ordered room service. The staff were extremely helpful and understanding always assisted me with my bag and brought my food to my room with a smile an extra consideration of my illness

There was nothing that I could fault, although I only stayed the one night. I guess the price that I paid for the night was a little higher than I expected cause I am currently not working due to my illness but I had no other choice to accept the price , it was a last minute booking cause I had just go discharged from hospital and desperately needed a place for the night. I had to make arrangements to travel to Bundaberg, and I was stressed cause I am single with no friends or family in Australia.
