It is a cosy classic family hotel, where the guests and the host seem to have known each other for a lifetime. The room was spacious. The view was very nice, towards Bodanplatz. A very good restaurant famous for his potatoes recipes complements the location. Which couldnt have been better: near Railway station, near Lago Mall, near SeaLife, near Harbour and a lot of options to daily cruises. The bus station in front of of the hotel from where you can easily get to Uni, Mainau Island or Meersburg. Certainly we will return here!

Maybe more croissants at Breakfast 🙂. Or a small refrigerator in the room during the hot summer. I really cannot find negative parts to our staying here.

The hotel itself was very centrally located and only a 5 minute walk from Konstanz station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was space to store bikes and leave bags at check out. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious.

It would have been nice to have a kettle and small fridge in the room to make a drink after a long day on the bikes, but I appreciate that may not be common in Germany. Please note there are no lifts if you are not able to walk up stairs.

Very big shower and quiet rooms. I like a German style of interiors - nothing special, but cute. I would like to say about staff. Unfortunately, do not remember the names. However, the check-in man was unbelievable friendly and helpful (knowing that we are guests only for one night). And amazing breakfast staff. They immediately showed a table for 3 prepared for us from the beginning. Variety of tee for breakfast was great, but while I was choosing I want - they said we even have more if you do not choose from it. Thanks to all of the team working there.

Basically, I knew what to expect from the hotel, so no bad things. It’s only my wish to have a bottle opener (wine and beer) in the room. But I guess it’s manageable at least during reception hours.

Good quiet accommodation just a few minutes walk from the station. The room was a good size and had a separate seating area, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was abundant. I can paticularly recommend the Bircher Muesli. The staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Sliding glass door to bathroom was noisy, so could be disturbing at night. There's no lift.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay - quality room that appears to be recently updated. Was on the 4th floor; be advised there’s no elevator. Quiet and comfortable; room had everything, including tv and safe, nice bathroom. Front desk gentleman was very friendly and recommended the restaurant on the bottom floor (not part of the hotel I don’t think) - great German food. Walking distance to everything you would want to see, to include the old town and the pier area. Breakfast was very good - hot and cold choices.

Excellent staff very friendly, perfect location near to the train and bus station, close to good food places nearby as well. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options. The room was large and very tidy. An excellent stay and I would definitely visit again

The location is great! Near the train station and not far away from the lake. The breakfast is nice, although there are too many people comparing with the space they could offer. But the staff helped to arrange a seat. Staffs are friendly, i have difficulty on carrying heavy things but luckily they arrange me to stay in 1st floor and near the stairs, just right within my limit.

For people who is not convenient to move, there's no elevator. The building is quite traditional so you can hear people walking in front of your door, talking no matter inside or outside the hotel. But during my stay, i am lucky to have quiet neighbors so it's fine for me.

Loved the location - a short walk from the train station and next door to the Lago shopping centre. Staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent - a good choice to cater for all tastes and plenty of it. Great cappuccino and happy to provide a second one.Plenty of restaurant choices around for dinner.

Nothing about the hotel itself. I don't recommend the restaurant in front of the hotel - poor service and average food (I don't think the restaurant is part of the hotel).

Best location for the old part of the city. Very nice and good mood staff. Spacious room. Air conditioning in the room - quite rare in hotels of this level in Germany. Good breakfast. Real three beds and not a double and a sofa.

No elevator and not that comfortable steps. We had a good surprise that the hotel had some parking spaces but not in sufficient numbers for all guests. Breakfast is really OK but not more than that (No orders for eggs are taken, can have only the eggs in the buffet. One day the waitress told us that there were no more white wheat rolls - only dark wheat). The air conditioning could be stronger.

We loved the quiet coziness and ambiance of “old world” tradition. Our room was small by contemporary standards but we slept well and all facilities (heat, tv, WiFi, water pressure) worked. Parking at the nearby shopping mall was very easy. Breakfast was very good. We travel light and don’t mind stairs which maybe an issue for some.

We liked everything.
