The hotel is clean and offers a quiet environment. I was upgraded to a Superior Room for my entire stay at no extra cost. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options available each day. Since I was on a business trip and had busy mornings, it was convenient to have breakfast ready before heading out. The reception team was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They even assisted me with booking Ubers to and from the mall - something they weren’t obligated to do. They ensured all my parcels delivered to the hotel were kept safe until I returned in the evening. Their hospitality made a my experience memorable.

I didn’t like how the employee called SAM treated us in the pool, he was very rude and he scream at us to get out of his pool, I don’t know if he’s the owner of the hotel but he’s very very rude and the treated us very bad. The company às ti do something with this guy

I didn’t like the fact that I wasn’t allowed to decorate the room. I was advised that I need to pay R300 if I want to do it. Or opt for the packages that the hotel has. This to me doesn’t make sense because I already paid this space. Please work on this it is really a turn off.

Nice chic hotel and a wonderful Deluxe apartment. The pool area is exquisite, specially in the morning when it's quiet. The jacuzzi was simply addictive and pool was always so nicely warm. The sitting around the pool is just genius, a truly delight although it's small for the size of the compound so I guess it can get very crowded. Wifi was very solid all over the compound, staff extremely friendly and attentive. Love the bed, tv, kitchen, everything inside the apartment was perfect. Walking distance to Sandton City mall. Definitely a place to visit back

The smell of things people smoke in common areas is a major turn off for me. I don't enjoy loud music in the pool, but that was only weekend evenings. Gym is kind of abandoned. I would suggest more veggie options for the nice Restaurant

That people who came to the restaurant can also come to the pool area ... Felt somewhat uncomfortable coz if anything can get lost we won't be able to held them accountable coz they will be all gone the next thing. But beside all that i would still come back loved the place ❤️

The restaurant was refreshing. Nice fresh air . The stuff is nice. My check in I was Helped by lady with eyelashes and braids and other one seemed like a student but they were very nice …sorry I didn’t see the names. Their check in was amazing, paper free check in ….now that’s nice.

Yohhhh Guyzini….where is the phone in the rooms ?? I needed phone to Order food from restaurant. That was a turn off. I mean what if I need something from reception or wanna know some information from reception. That has to be fixed. Or I’m hurt and need help. The shampoo, lotion, and shower gel were not refilled….I am a housekeeping manager where I work…that was not nice to see even if I was not using them.

A great experience with accommodation and stay at Mint Hotel**** in Johannesburg. Located in the heart of Sandton, close to the train which takes you everywhere in Jozi and Pretoria. The hotel staff was very nice, polite and helpful. It was my first stop in South Africa and I decided to change the room to have a view of the city at night and the hotel staff complied with my request and an employee also assisted me with carrying my luggage and personal items (thank you and sorry I don't remember his name). In addition, daily cleaning and replacement of the mini bar is free of charge. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Everything worked without problems. I didn't use the swimming pool because it rained for a few days, and then I did a lot of sightseeing. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay at Mint Hotel**** and I recommend this place in a safe corner of Jozi.

My only surprise was that there are double doors between the rooms and, despite the soundproofing, you can hear your neighbors, but take earplugs and there is no problem.

Location. Rooms were clean and functional

1. Common staircases were dirty. Stains and dust not cleaned throughout our entire 2 nights stay. 2. Rubbish left in bins for more than 12 hours (block b) stairwell near parking area.

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — just a short walking distance to the city center, which made exploring very convenient. We also really appreciated the cleanliness throughout the hotel and the relaxing jacuzzi, which was a great way to unwind.

However, there were a couple of downsides. The water in the shower was only lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing, and the food at the hotel restaurant didn’t quite meet our expectations. Despite those issues, the positives made for a comfortable stay, and we’d consider returning, especially for the location and amenities.

The room was spacious and impeccably neat, meeting all our needs with ease. Daily servicing ensured everything remained in top condition. The open layout of the hotel added to the overall sense of relaxation, creating a welcoming and airy atmosphere that we truly appreciated.

While the hotel had many positives, it lacked soundproofing, leading to constant disturbances from other guests, which management seemed aware of but did not address. The advertised gym facility was disappointingly absent, reflecting a lack of priority from management. Additionally, breakfast was a frustrating experience—slow, confusing, and the unusual policy of charging extra above a certain amount was off-putting, especially when breakfast was supposed to be included.
