Links to ICC by sky bridge Breakfast is good. Shower was strong and of good design.
No pad for writing, no pen, no writing paper or envelopes. I dislike pump action shampoo in bathroom. Lean taken too far for a supposed 4 star hotel. I went up briefly to get a pastry and when I can back coffee, orange juice and plate had been cleared already along with napkin. Over eager staff tells me they are pushed hard- uncomfortable hovering- needs to be more relaxed for diners.

This is a great hotel. We attended a convention at the ICC and the access from the hotel to the ICC was great - we went in the lift to floor B and then walked across the internal bridge and there we were - at the ICC so convenient. The staff serving breakfast were fantastic and the service was wonderful.
An area that requires improvement - there were no toilet brushes in the bathrooms??? Why??? Also the sinks need to be cleaned with jif cleaner as they were not very clean. Also the hole in the sink was black and that needed to be cleaned. When this small matter is achieved you will be 10/10.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels including the Jumeriah beach type hotels in Dubai. The standard of the hotel was on par to how I felt there. The hotel punches above the others and I stayed at the Grand last time I was in Birmingham and I was taking a chance but glad I did. I recommend this to anyone who wants a mini break and Birmingham has a lot to offer and the location was perfect. We used the pool daily and spa facilities. We went to Opheem (two Michelin stars restaurant) to eat, walked to the museum, cinema canal walks and casino. They were all within walking distances from the hotel. The staff were friendly, the hotel immaculately kept and we thought enjoyed our stay. My room was a perfect size and it had a fridge large tv wifi coffee and tea facilities an iron and ironing board already in the room and amazing views! I love rooms with en-suites that have a bathtub so after a busy day sight seeing a nice soak in the tub is great!
I do think the breakfast was expensive at £28 per person but I did not eat there so I cannot comment if it was tasty. Instead we went to Medicine bakery in the centre and had a delicious breakfast. I also think the car parking was expensive at almost £30 per day. I ended up parking at Leonardo Royal for about £18 per day. It would have been nice to have a lounge area with a pool table etc just to chill in the hotel.

The room was lovely.
Only threw things weren't quite right. The hot tap on the shower made the walls vibrate very loudly. I called prior to check in to add my partner to the booking as I was running late. As I had paid online masked of I needed to do anything else. I was informed that £40 damages payment would need to be paid on check in and this would only be done in person. Not great that my gift of a romantic night starts with him having to pay as he got there first, despite a note being added to the booking to charge me not him. Lastly there was a strange crusty stain on the carpet next to the bed, which was a little questionable. Other than that it was lovely

Lovely high floor room with view of the city and the canal. Breakfast was very good - the scrambled eggs were scrambled not cooked until they resembled rubber.
We asked at 1500 if we could book for afternoon tea, were told we could so booked for 1600. No food arrived so after about 30 minutes we asked what was happening and were told that the scones had to be be made. We were hungry so asked if we could have the sandwiches which they agreed, rather reluctantly, to bring. They weren't busy, there was one other table in the restaurant occupied and they'd had an hour's notice so I don't understand why the scones could have been produced more quickly. A mystery.

It’s lovely, we’ve never stayed in a 4 star hotel so this was a lovely treat! The decor is modern and clean , the spa and pool area was just so lovely! Everything was explained brilliantly!
Not a massive issue , the receptionist came across a little judgey to begin with. I felt a little like we weren’t the usual clientele as we were dressed casually and just having a new experience for ourselves. I felt a little like we shouldn’t be there. She did eventually seem a little more friendly when I said I’ve never been in a posh hotel before. Also the tv channels didn’t show what it said - nothing major just confusing haha!

We would like to thank you for a fantastic stay. Vinny the tech guy & heating guy, you are fantastic and great at what you do. To Kyle, Arthur and Falis, we appreciate you also. You provided an excellent service. To the lovely gentleman that created the spinach, ginger and pineapple in the mornings. You are amazing, that juice was absolutely delicious. Please make more...at all times lol. Also to the person that delivered an anniversary treat. Thankyou it was a lovely surprise. And last but not least, Gabi at the front desk. What an amazing representation of your company. She went above and beyond to help me at check in and throughout our stay. Cant thank you enough. Really loved the lounge access through out our stay aswell. Was really worth it. Thankyou for a lovely time. If you are thinking of staying here, don't hesitate. And enjoy a fantastic experience as we did. Appreciate everything room 2406 Tony

My stay at the Hyatt was perfect 👌 it was comfy, quiet, clean and the staff was great. The best thing about this was the pool and hot tub was included in with the stay! I’ve stayed at some hotels and they charged for the pool but this place didn’t so that will definitely make me return. To have a nice dip before bed for free is definitely a win win for me. We even spotted a rap artist that was staying there at the same time so that was great too ( We didn’t manage to get a photo though but maybe next time we can ) I Will definitely be returning to this hotel. I also asked not to be to high like the 20th floor because my body starts being weird at those heights so the put me on a lower floor.

The staff were all courteous, friendly and helpful. They managed to maintain high standards of professionalism and service but were also extremely friendly and helpful. The young lady who brought our breakfast to our room was exceptional - as were the bar staff. The bed, especially the quilt, was very comfortable and loved the toiletries.
The prices are generally very high - and it wasn't clear that additional items offered on room service (pastries and hot chocolate) were chargeable - the word 'upsell' on the receipt says it all. The price for breakfast was high. It was excepțional but the portions were too large - a smaller, cheaper option would have been welcomed. My husband has a huge appetite but even he said his full English would have been enough for us both. Room was great - but not impressed by the mixer shower.

The room was very well appointed and extremely comfortable. We had requested a low floor and were very happy to be on the 5th floor. We were very lucky to find a parking space in the hotel car park and the staff allowed us to check in early. Most appreciated. The location is superb. We were attending a concert at the Utilita Arena which was a very pleasant 6-minute walk along the canal. Plenty going on with numerous places to eat and drink nearby. A really convenient location.
The breakfast selection and quality was superb. A lovely array of fruits, cereals, pastries and cooked fare. Obviously the hotel must have been extremely busy as the staff were rushing to get tables set etc. and I had a long wait for fried eggs. At least they were cooked to order but it did mean that I was eating after my wife had finished. My advice is to order your eggs early but otherwise everything else is available buffet-style.
