Property is close to the airport. The plate options were fantastic as well as affordable. I have never seen such efficient staff. The grounds are lovely and we found both the check-in woman as well as the front desk lady yet 4 AM to be very pleasant.

I did not give a 10 rating because our room just had an off smell. I don't know if it's from lack of ventilation or whether it was the cleaning supplies they use or there was mold masked by the cleaning solution. Regardless, it was very very offputting. And I have a terrible sense of smell.

The Aretxarte had a welcoming and comfortable ambience. It had lovely grounds to stroll around with nice seating areas inside and outside the hotel. We ate dinner in the restaurant; the food was good, and value for money. The bar and waiting staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. This hotel is convenient for the airport - 10 mins taxi ride.

There wasn't anything about this hotel we didn't like. It's worth noting that the Aretxarte is not particularly close to the city centre - 30 mins by taxi.

Very comfortable room and quiet location. Excellent WiFi. Breakfast and coffee cafe open at 8:00, which is good.

It’s isolated from the town by a 15 minute walk but the main disadvantage was that the restaurant doesn’t open until 20:30, which is late for people on the Camino. Also we didn’t really like what we got in the restaurant compared to other dinners we have had on the Camino. (We had sirloin steak, which was tough; and cod two ways which was rubbery.)

The hotel is located relatively close to the airport and allows reaching Bilbao in a few minutes drive. I was positively surprised that the hotel be in a rather leafy surrounding, almost giving the impression of being located far away from urban areas. The room was very quiet. The hotel offers outdoor areas to have a drink or eat alfresco, even during rainy times. I was also positively surprised to realise that there is a restaurant at the hotel. Although I did not get to have diner here, the ambience looked very inviting.

Parking could be a challenge depending on the number of hotel guests, and guests at the restaurant - especially during the restaurant's peak times. However, there is sufficient parking space on the road close to the hotel.

25 minutes from Ferry Port, and beautifully located in lush trees and greenery.... yet really easy to locate The food was excellent, tapas great selection, good beer, and all at a very fair price! The hotel decor is exquisite, and immaculately clean. The staff well trained, friendly and well dressed (all except the boss, who wanders around in old jeans and a t-shirt!!). Large room, comfy (& large) beds, hot water, air-con.... it all worked as it should.... and the largest, softest, towels ever!!

Hotel was less than a 10 minute drive from Bilbao airport & had plenty of parking. Room was clean & comfortable - it wasn't huge, but absolutely fine for a 1 night stay. Would have been small had I been sharing the room & it had 2 of us in there. Bed was comfy & room had a balcony. Bathroom was clean & shower was better than I thought it was going to be! Hotel has a lovely outside area which was busy in the evening. There's a restaurant serving food in the evenings from 8.30-11.30pm, but I chose to have some bar snacks instead & sit in the bar. Nice area, great service. Breakfast was from a menu & I ate quite simply, but there appeared to be plenty of choice.

This hotel was a total surprise! Dont be put off by the address in a technology park - its anything but! the grounds are landscaped, well lit and very well kept. The hotel is modern with large terraces, under cover, for simply sittinh and enjoying a pre dinner drink. The food was excellent but beware the portion sizes! If you pay 20€ for a starter you get almost a full meal! Saying that the restaurant staff were great, attentive but not obtrusive and as i said the food excellent. The room was great overlooking the gardens. Its location is perfect for the airport (literally 10 minutes drive away) and the planes dont sem to fly after 10pm or before 6am. If i was coming back to Bilbao again I would look to stay here again!

The hotel fronts onto a very nice park that follows a small stream. It is very, very quiet at night. We were able to have a nice one-hour walk while we waited for our flight. There is a terrace on that side where you can have your lunch while you wait. A really nice way to spend extra time you may have while waiting for your flight. Taxi's will come in 5 minutes and the airport is only about 15 minutes away.

As long as you don't expect a "grand lobby" this is the right place. A very efficient setup and really great staff with a very professional attitude. Can't ask for more than that!

Great stay close to Bilbao Hotel is in the middle of park, in the wonderful nature, out of town yet close, 10 min drive by car. We understood there is a bus to the town roo. My husband went running in the morning and was excited about the nature. There was a wedding going on when we arrived but it was only fun to see all those happy people and there was no noise after 10 p.m. Hotel is close to the airport however and planes take off and land but it wasn’t bodering in the night. Breakfast is a la cart and is good and plenty. Staff is kind.

Our room and bed were very small.

Took a while to find the correct bus route. The hotel was lovely, like an oasis. the rooms were comfy and clean. The towels clean big and fluffy! The buffet breakfast was good value for money with lots of choice of quality food.

A Couple of the dining room staff were a bit brusque.
