Both my boyfriend and I had colds by the time we got to this hotel, and it was the perfect place to rest up in a comfortable room while still being conveniently located so that we could visit the sites in the afternoon. Even though we only made it out for a few hours in the afternoon on a couple of days the cleaning staff made up our room in the time we were gone so we always had a fresh supply of tissues, toilet paper, coffee, water, and towels if we needed new ones. Also, the restaurant served the best food of our entire 2-week trip - lots of fresh vegetables and gourmet sauces/seasoning. Absolutely delicious. On the last night, my boyfriend was not feeling up to dinner so the staff delivered soup from the restaurant to our room - really top notch service - they went out of their way to accommodate us. I would 1000% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Passau.

We just spent 2 nights at this hotel and loved it. The location is excellent, with many shops and restaurants near by. Our room was huge, tastelfully decorated, very comfortable, and quiet. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was included and was great. We had dinner one night at the hotel, both my husband and I had burgers, and they were exeptional! Highly recommend this hotel!

Having to walk several flights of stairs while carrying our heavy suitcases when we first arrived. We didn't realize that if we'd used their other entrance which is around the corner, the elevator is on that floor,

We loved this hotel! Our room had been recently redone and was so clean and modern. We did request a room with a River view but did not get it. The staff was wonderful and the hotel restaurant was fabulous!The hallway to the elevator had not yet been refurbished and looked and smelled a bit old, but I am sure it will only be a matter of time before this area of the hotel is re-done. The signage for the restaurant was good, however it took us a while to figure out that the hotel was accessed via the restaurant.

Hotel was an easy 10 minute walk from the main train station. It is located within a couple of minutes walk from the the Christmas Market in front of St. Stevens Cathedral. Our room had a view of the Danube. The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and bedding.

Thought the breakfast offering was poor compared to the other hotels we have stayed in on this trip with a limited selection of food stuffs, especially for the price we paid for the room Like a vast majority of hotels in Europe they dont understand you need boiling water for a cup of tea not lukewarm stuff out of a coffee machine. To be fair the above is a minor inconvenience and didn't detract from an enjoyable stay.

The rooms were clean, the staff was nice, and you're directly in the old town. There are restaurants all around, good coffee, great food, and you're very close to everything that's worth a visit. The Paulus Church is directly next to the hotel, St. Stephen's Dome was very close too, and we visited the glass museum as well. The breakfast was good, just a little less to choose from than I'm used to in other hotels, but there was something for everyone (including good coffee, tea, bread, marmelade & some meat and salmon-options).

The rooms are quite hot since the AC in the room couldn't completely keep up with the heat eminating from the light bulbs everywhere in the room + the warm weather.. Parking was a little difficult to find since there are no options that are specifically reserved for the hotel. However, there are parking spaces nearby (5-10minutes on foot).

It was a great hotel! Clean, facilities in good shape, good breakfast, and the location could not be better!! The room had a big smart TV with Netflix, YouTube, etc. The room was big enough and also the bathroom. Everything was renovated recently. Highly recommend hotel!

The ventilation system of the bathroom did not work and moist accumulated. It was a bit expensive. The room had a minibar which did not work.

The location of this hotel was perfect. The staff was very friendly and went out of there way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room we were in was very cute and clean. This is the perfect place to stay to explore Passau. We arrived a day before catching a Danube River Cruise and we could not have stayed at a better place. Next time, we will stay longer :)

This hotel overlooks the Danube and the river cruise boats and is two minutes to everything in the Passau old city and 10-15 minute walk to the train station thru the shopping streets. Room came with breakfast which we enjoyed in the hotel restaurant or on their patio. Room is 200 sq ft but well laid out with closets, large desk and built-in couch seating area and large bathroom and shower. Very helpful and friendly staff. Arrive on the interior/street side to access the elevator; they don't go all the way down to the river quay entrance.

The only trash can was in the bathroom. There is a low hum of river cruise ship prep but only with windows open. I liked the extra seating area but it was quite low; I prefer a couple comfortable sitting chairs.

This was our 1st of a 14 night travel and after we arrived early from a long flight and train ride, they helped us out with an earlier check in. We immediately went for lunch at the hotel which was delicious and they accommodated a Gluten Free diet. The room was a little small but the bed made up for it, super comfy! The breakfast buffet was awesome! We’ll be back.

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff! Easy walk to everything. Was a nice touch to have breakfast included as well.

Would have been helpful to have a Hotel sign visible while coming to the hotel from the road behind the hotel as this is where the GPS takes you.
