The recently renovated room was well thought out. Double and single bed, three seater couch coffee table and small dining table all well placed in room with space to move around. The bathroom was well set out with large shower. We have stayed in a lot of Motels around Australia, this was probably as good as we have experienced. Some work need to be done to the entry area to the rooms, difficult for someone with restricted mobility. The location is 5 minutes walk from the town centre with good eateries and other outlets, 10 minutes to the station. If we need to stay in Ararat again this is where we will stay. It was easy to book last minute. We had to book it last minute because we had a flat tyre so had to stay in Ararat overnight, unplanned. We managed to book 2 nights just before Xmas. The owner was very easy to deal with. The location is excellent. Because of the flat tyre, we couldn't drive anywhere but the laundromat was on the street behind the motel, Woolies was across the road, we could walk to the servo to get snacks and drinks and was next to the main street so we couldn't easily get food. McDonald's and Subway were next door. The fridge in the room was full sized which is handy. We also accidentally left our portable hard drive behind and the owner was kind enough to post it back to us

The mattresses were a bit soft and well worn but that is a first world problem as the room had been recently renovated so was lovely to stay in for an emergency stop

An extremely clean motel room which was very quiet despite being close to the main road through town. The staff member who checked me in was friendly and gave great advice on places to eat in Ararat. The bed was comfy, all appliances worked (TV, heater, kettle etc.) and the water pressure was lovely and strong.

Would have been great to have a cup/mug available in the room rather than needing to ask for one from reception, but really my mistake for not asking when offered crockery at check-in.

We stayed here on a Saturday night because we were doing one of the local ghost tours in town. They were currently in the middle of a renovation when we stayed, but that didn’t bother us. We were in a newly renovated room and it was really good. Nicely done, great bathroom, good amenities and the service was good too. The location is great because it’s a two minute walk from the main street with good local shops and restaurants. I would recommend staying here if you need somewhere in Ararat.

Best motel room we have stayed in.....very spacious including the renovated bathroom with huge shower. our bed was comfortable and so was the sofa. ifeallyl9cated within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and facilities including bottle shop next door, Coolies across the road and Kmart and Macca's just down the road. Will definitely book here again.

Room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable and great location. Very accommodating when asked if we could check in earlier 😊.

The only thing was the parking for our room was a bit awkward and tight due to size of my car and also space between room and swimming pool, luckily there was no other car parked next to us. Apart from this everything else was great

Room, shower, bed were all exceptional, pillows very soft and clean. Location was great, 2 mins from shops, cafes, Pubs and a great selection of restaurants. Even though close to everything, the room was very quiet.

Try not to go on a Fire Ban day, some tours are closed on those days which did dampen the trip a little.

clean, well presented, easy to access. quiet. no disruptions. Easy walk to local supermarket. we had a family room. The connecting door was convenient.

The only issue I had was that there were flying bugs in the room that kept landing on me when I was reading at night. I'm not sure how they got in as we didn't have a window or door open.

We only stayed one night this time, but got in late, so the managers let us know where to find our key and made sure to turn the heater on for us, so the room was warm when we got in. The location of this motel is great, with the supermarket across the road and only a short stroll to the main shops.

We had trouble with trying to get the temperature right for the shower. The cold tap was touchy and slight movement would either have it boiling hot, or freezing cold. I think it may need to be looked at, but I'm sure it's a simple fix. My only other suggestion would be for some plates and kinves/forks, as there is a toaster and microwave, but nothing to eat off or with.

It was a good place to stay. Close to everything in town. Walkable to shops and cafes pubs etc .I think we will be back water pressure was great and beds where the best.

Reverse parking of cars. We have stayed in a lot of motels they dont allow this. People in the morning start up and fill the room next door with car fumes.
