The rooms we booked were spacious, with a nice view from the balcony. Bedrooms had plenty of storage and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen was clean and equipped for multi-purpose use and appropriate trash disposal. Bathroom was also well equipped with different facilities fit for all kinds of usage. Location was perfect and within walking distance of the main area. The security was top notch, and the vending machine on the ground floor was a life saver many times during our stay. The lady at the front desk was lovely and helpful. Did not get to use all the facilities such as the pool because we were busy, but looking forward to trying them with our next visit :)

The only downside was the lack of a smoking designated area outside the property, as no smoking was allowed on the premises. This meant we could not dispose of litter properly, as well as posing a small safety risk during later hours. This did not affect the overall service or experience, but can affect anyone who may smoke.

Our room was on the first floor but the sound-insulated balcony doors kept out street noise (there was not much noise but the property is on a busy corner). The room was well appointed and had all the facilities we expected. Mantra Quayside is close to the main part of Port Macquarie and the Settlement shopping centre is a short bus drive. There is a supermarket at the end of the street which is where we bought most of our food. The rooftop spa, exercise room, pool and barbecue areas were great and we used them frequently.

The only issue we had was with the coffee machine in the room. It would only make one cup of coffee properly and then had to be turned off for 5 minutes before making another, otherwise you just got a lot of coffee grounds and a teaspoon of hot water in the cup.

I absolutely loved the urban skin care range they had complimentary for guests I went home and bought some for myself! I used the roof top pool the view wasn’t stunning and the pool was nice and warm which was fantastic because the weather was abit chilly. The staff and facilities were fantastic! Parking was fantastic, not a bad location as I’m fit and can walk well. The bed was comfortable I slept very well

The view wasn’t as good as it was made out to be in the pictures, it was a little disappointing, and I have a dust might allergy and there was lots of dust on top of the cabinets where the kitchen is. I utilised the gym once but it was really stuffy and hot because the sauna is located in the gym and it was being utilised and I couldn’t work out the air conditioning system. Also the music radio box was very quite when I tried to use it so it was awkward silence in the gym

Stayed in a studio on the way up north for two nights, was not disappointed. Room and bathroom very clean. Bed was SO comfy. Plenty of channels on TV for free. Pool was beautiful although the day we arrived was full of small kids and and parents but it was very hot that day and we found a slot to ourselves another time during our stay. On the way back we booked a studio room with a spa, so relaxing and private. Room again very clean and the bed was nice and comfy.

Did notice the electric sockets under the microwave are not in the best place to use kettle or toaster. Worked around it and was no problem to us.

The living area was very spacious and welcoming. Loved being able to sit on the roof top and being able to walk to everything we wanted to. Loved the provided soap, shampoo and lotion. Reception staff were welcoming. The car park & lifts were appreciated by my elderly relative.

The layout of the wall sockets in the kitchen wasn't user friendly. We had to move the coffee machine so that we could move the microwave to be able to plug in and use the kettle. I felt the gravel area we looked out onto could be nicer to look at, more greenery. Minor points really, we enjoyed our stay

Room was presented well. Loved the Little Rock garden and balcony. Great bed! Nice pillows. Tv options were on point. Bathroom and bath was lovely. Soaps wash and creams smelt great. Didn’t get to use but the coffee maker was great to see. Great space for the room. And off street parking included was peace of mind as well. Staff were perfect!

We were staying on whim and didn’t have much money but not only had to pay the room which is fine but then asked to take an extra $200 for a bond? That took it out of my money not just card details incase something went wrong. This put a crimp on my stay and I had to borrow money so I could enjoy the rest of of my stay for the evening and next day. That much bond is unnecessary? Why not just grab the card details and if someone trashes the room then you charge them? This incident made me mad which was unfortunate as everything else was perfect.

We had a studio room which included a kitchen. It was spacious and clean, and very much suited our requirements for over night travel. We also had sliding doors leading to an outdoor area overlooking a large pebble style garden with pots. We were able to sit out there at a table with 2 chairs to enjoy our breakfast. There is free parking under the building. The location is excellent. We were able to walk a very short distance in to the main centre for both shopping and restaurants, and a walk along the waterfront.

Room was great. Booked a studio but was given a 1 bedroom which was a nice bonus. Bed was really comfortable and products nice.

No prior communication that reception closed at 6pm. No one answered the intercom outside or nothing indicating it was working. Was fortunately let into foyer by residents. Couldn’t get anyone on desk phone. Called number in email twice went to voicemail before night janitor came out and checked us in. We we’re getting anxious by this stage. 2. Only PowerPoints for toast/kettle on bench behind microwave. 3. Better quality/soft toilet paper would have been nice.

We love staying at the Manta. The location is super easy and within walking distance to everything. Our room has always been clean and tidy. The kitchen equip is all you need. There's a washing machine and dryer next to the lift which is super easy. The pool area is awesome! We had a last minute request for our mum to stay which was no problem at all. All the team were great! A really easy stay with everything you need!

Maybe extra glasses and plates etc as it's only made up for 3pax. But that's super picky. I also felt bad for putting the dryer on before 9 because it was noisy but hopefully the apartments near the dryer were awake! Rules are wait until 8 but still...

Within walking distance to everything! Rooftop pool was a highlight. Very clean place and bed was extremely comfortable. Reasonably sized for studio apartment. Staff are very friendly.

A little too loud to sit out on your balcony due to outside traffic noise but it is only three floors and kind have to expect it due to the positioning of the hotel. Not really a problem for us as we were either in the pool or out….
