Simple but clean hotel with all necessary amenities. Some were a bit broken tho. Initially I was given a room that can't be locked from inside. Despite assuring me there's never been any problems, I felt more comfortable once the room was changed for the one with door locking option. The hair drier was a bit broken, yet still functioning. There was no soap, only tiny bottles of shower gel. It seemed to be impossible to turn down the heating, but it wasn't a big problem. However, the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Overall I was happy to stay here. The hotel unfortunately didn't have a restaurant, only bar and snacks. The proximity to the beach was very convenient! :) Overall I would recommend this place if you are not too picky about details.

The atmosphere of the place, so close to the ocean. And it's a good position to travel all around. The room is very cleaned and well organised, there is a big shower and a walk in closet to save space in the room. I slept well every night (4) even if is it's close to the parking. The breakfast is basic (there is not buffet). The staff is very nice and kind. Good price. Bed comfortable.

The room of breakfast or for a break, it's a little bit cold, because of doors opened even if was not so hot. There is no conditioner air in the room.

Very good stay given this is 2 star hotel. They have excellent snacks at the bar and even though the staff doesn't speak much English, they were nice and mostly friendly. The location is perfect of you want to hit the beach. Bus stop is very close. Despite some of the reviews here, there was only little noise in the night.

Some of the equipment is old but it didn't disturb me. The bed was a bit squeeky but nothing major.

Location fabulous if you want to be on the beach/surfing beach of Sopelana. 2 mins walk to beach. Basic hotel, old school, but clean and comfortable enough. Bathroom clean, room also. Was an added bonus that my room had a walk in wardrobe which was great for all my belongings. No fan or airconditioner, so i ended up having to purchase a small fan from the supermarket to make sleep during summer more pleasant. Shutters on the window, great. Pinchos at the bar/cafe area, very tasty indeed. Basic breakfast of coffee, juice, croissant and toast. Plenty of room to sit outside on the grassed area overlooking the sea whilst enjoying a drink from the bar. Staff were all very pleasant indeed and willing to please. Don't expect resort style hotel, or bar with fancy cocktails. Just a very casual basic stay with fabulous location to beach. 30mins drive approx to Bilbao centre. About a 5 minute drive into town centre of Sopelana.

Wifi in my room did not work at all, but worked perfectly in the cafe area. Would have been nice to have reception in the room.

The location is very good, as it's just 3 mins away from the best in my opinion beach in Bilbao. We had staff cleaning our rooms every day, and room size was fairly big

Loved the sea views and location close to the beach. Excellent shower & powerful hairdryer. Comfy beds & good, clean linen. The food, coffee and bar were great, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Best of all - wonderful staff.

I'm going back - there's nothing I'd change.

We enjoyed our stay: perfect view from the restaurants terrace & garden during breakfast! Clean rooms, comfy bed, big bathroom.

Some hangers in the bathroom for towels & clothes would have been nice (the 2 inside the shower were useless while showering). A warm heating in the evening would also be recommended during this cold season -> too bad the heating wasn't turned on after our request first night.

Proximity to the sea was very good if a bit hilly for older people.

There was no previous indication that the kitchen wasn't open on a Sunday. The parking was very hit and miss as there wasn't much room, and the surface was very uneven in places and a nightmare for a motorcyclist! Also, one badly parked vehicle made it one way in and out and reversing was hazardous.

The location is amazing! Just a few minutes away from the beautiful Sopelana beach, a nice cafe, and all the surf schools. The staff also let me check out a bit late and proposed to keep my baggage if I wanted to take a walk or something.

The wifi was really slow in the rooms (but good in the lobby). And also the room was a bit cold in the evenings.

The location is perfect (so close to the beach!) and the room was nice, especially the bathroom. Everything was very clean and the check in/out process was smooth. The staff was really friendly and helped with my GF/DF needs at breakfast in the morning.
