The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast package was very generous and there was plenty of choice. The spa and pool space was good and helped me relax between being out during the day and before heading out for the evening. The view we had from the top room was stunning and the balcony area was comfy and spacious.

The downstairs area which looked like a communal area for guests in the pictures was actually the owners residence, presumably including the garden space. The TV was very old, so the screen quality wasn't great for watching anything when we wanted to chill out in our room.

Everything was fantastic, the room, the view and the hosts. The little touches that was done in presenting the room was absolutely amazing. There were flowers on the bed with chocolate and just how the slippers and robe was folded. And of course it topped up with the brilliant complimentary breakfast. The breakfast had everything that you’ll need. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast ❤️.

There is nothing that we didn’t like. We loved the place.

So many thoughtful personal touches added to the room. For example a beach bag with towels and sunblock in it. Fresh water in drink bottles on the bedside tables. The breakfast hamper was amazing and our host knows a thing or two about luxury! Absolutely wonderful in every way.

Lovely room with an amazing view. Inge was an exceptional host and couldn’t do enough for us. She went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay and even offered to give us lifts to and from the town. She also gave us great advice on things to do in Rotorua and on our onward travels.

Absolutely nothing to find fault with!

The location is amasing. The lady who welcomed us and looked after us throughout our stay was really lovely. Available and remarkably kind. The bedding, the kitchen, the balcony and the breathtaking view make this a unique place. I recommend this place for a romantic getaway. We were on the top floor, which I highly recommend. A most romantic place.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The hostess Inge was simply exceptional in ensuring we had a memorable time. Her advise on local attractions was excellent. The provisions for the first breakfast were hugely abundant. The place was spotless. The views were to die for. The property is in a quite location so sleep was wonderfully peaceful. We can't wait to return.....

Highly recommend staying here! Not only is it a beautiful facility, Inge is absolutely amazing and goes out of her way to accommodate you. The lovely little touches she puts in your room, just makes the whole experience next level . And the Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of foods that blew us away. We were quite glad we didn't have the greatest weather, so we got to enjoy our space for the duration. Thank you Inge 😊 we will be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our room was beautiful and so well equipped. The view from our balcony over the Bay of Islands was amazing. Our hosts could not have done more to make our stay more perfect.- it was an amazing start to our NZ adventure.

The steps are a bit steep but worth it for the view from the room.

Nothing not to like

Very friendly helpful hosts. We stayed in the top studio unit - extremely comfortable and spacious. Very nice little kitchenette. Extremely clean and well presented with fresh flowers and welcoming fruit bowel. King bed was very comfortable. A most relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The room was up 2 flights of stairs - it was not a problem for us, but would be difficult for a less mobile person.
