Elliot was an excellent host and he was able to advise on places to eat out locally. The house was very tidy and clean and attractively furnished with antique furniture. There was ample room for parking out front. It was a 3 min walk to the bus stop with several routes going into Norwich. My bed was comfortable and I slept well. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the cooked breakfast was excellent.
My single bedroom had use of a private bathroom which was across the hall (which I knew in advance), but it's not the same as having an en-suite. A toweling dressing gown is provided which is just as well. Other double guest rooms did have an en-suite. Unfortunately the water temperature would fluctuate from hot to cold during a shower which wasn't a pleasant experience. I did mention this to Elliot who was unaware of it, so hopefully the matter will be addressed quickly.

On arrival there was a warm welcome which instantly made me feel relaxed as a solo traveller. There was plenty of secure parking too. My first impression was how clean and well presented the property was. My room was spacious with a private bathroom which was a bonus. For someone who doesn’t enjoy being away from home this bed and breakfast offers the home away from home feeling that was needed to make the trip more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection and service was prompt which meant I could get away on time for my meeting. Checkout was simple and hassle free.
I had a loud neighbour and the walls didn’t prevent loud voices but not much can be done. Perhaps a reminder to consider other guests but it’s only a minor thing.

The 2 hosts were warm and friendly. We loved the decore - it added a lot of warmth and comfort to our stay, making us feel relaxed and away from our everyday hectic lifestyles. The small finishing touches were exceptional, such as the hosts filling up the kettle in our room with fresh water before arrival. The fresh milk fridge on the landing is a great idea.. The type of ornaments displayed around the building and small but detailed things like the table placements were of a high standard. The breakfast was of very good quality and portions were a good size! Free parking was a bonus. Very convenient location for the town centre and university. The double en suite room was very spacious, clean and comfortable from the mattress to the pillows to the duvet! I would highly recommend this B&B, and we would definitely stay there again
Everything was good!

Room was tastefully furnished. Very cosy and well appointed. Warm and inviting. We had a very good night's sleep. Plenty of parking outside. A lovely stay. Our host was very helpful with check in and communication prior to arrival was reassuring. The jar of biscuits in our room was a lovely touch. And we loved the nautical theme in the house. Especially the model of the Queen Mary. Stop and take a look if you stay here. Breakfast service wasn't available over the new year holiday but we hope to return and sample it. Beautiful house.
The plumbing from adjoining rooms was a little noisy during the night. But only for a short period of time.

Good location for city centre, countryside and not too far from the seaside. Lovely hosts and great breakfast. Feels like staying in a family home so something to bear in mind, we enjoyed our stay and Elliot was friendly and nothing was too much to ask.
We stayed in a smaller double room which was nice, the mattress wasn't to our preference but it was a clean room with a lovely tea and coffee tray with fresh milk available. Lovely garden view too !

Fabulous hosts, very comfortable and rather nostalgic as it reminded me of B&B's I stayed in as a child with my parents. For the short period of time you are there you are treated as one of the family. The breakfast choices were fabulous and of excellent quality. Would absolutely recommend and will use again.
It may have simply been that our room was slightly smaller than others, but whilst we stayed for only one night we had a large suitcase because we'd been on a much longer trip overseas. We did struggle for enough space to lay it out flat to use both sides and if we'd had one each it would have been impossible. It still wouldn't stop me from staying again!

The room was lovely, very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and a nice view over the garden. Lots of parking space at the front of the building too, which is always helpful. Staff were friendly, conscientious and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, freshly-cooked and with a good choice on the menu. Good location too if you don't mind a stroll after dinner - it's about a half hour walk into the centre of Norwich, but this suited us fine. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel and buses are frequent if you don't fancy the walk. The Eagle pub, five minutes away, serves good food, a good selection of beers and has a lovely garden.
Nothing.

This is an excellent bread and breakfast/hotel and perhaps one of the best I have stayed at. Cleanliness was exceptional. It was quiet and breakfast in the morning was brilliant. One little feature I loved in the room was there was a drawstring switch (like in the toilet) just above the bed so you could get into bed and pull the drawstring to switch of the light so you don't need to stumble around in the dark before getting into bed (might think of doing that at home.) I also found the bed amazing and slept well in it. Finally, I liked the fact that the place was enclosed so you could park your car well away from the street safely.
Separate bathroom but to be fair, it was around the corner from my room (not like another place where it was down a set of stairs and PIN code protected.) Location was a bit far out from Norwich city centre. I walked to Chapelfield Park for the Norfolk and Norwich festival (think it took 30 minutes) but had to get a taxi back but yet again because it is further out from the city, it is quiet and on a good location leading out of Norwich when you have to leave.

The breakfast was great a good selection and products. The bed was comfortable and had a great night's sleep. That's the two things we look for in a hotel a good night sleep and nice breakfast so ticked our boxes. Great location close to city and A47 if going further afield we had a small room with external private bathroom but this was not an issue.
Having to decide what time you want to come down for breakfast and one large table for everyone at breakfast, I prefer to wake up and come down, and then have my coffee before having contact with others. But that is just my preference.

The room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was delicious. We were the only ones staying that particular night so got upgraded to the room with the ensuite bathroom. The owners were very helpful and recommended a hotel close by for dinner, which was very tasty, especially the Sticky toffee pudding! I found all the nautical themed pictures interesting on the stairwell.
Nothing for us, but if you're a bit less mobile the stairs might be tricky as the guest rooms are on the top floor of the house.
