My wife and I are seasoned travelers in our early 70s. So the important things to us are, warmth, cleanliness, security, ease of access and value. This property certainly delivered those values. The added bonus was the staff. We stayed 5 nights in mid May 2025, during that time we interacted with many of the staff members, and from the housekeeping to the front desk, every single one was absolutely a pleasure to chat to. Each was well-presented and helpful. I hope management reads this review, because the cleanliness and order of every part of the property (including the staff) showed us the high standards that were set and achieved by the owners. We also found the security was faultless. There's no way anyone is going to trespass any part of this property, which was very comforting. We mentioned 2 small issues to reception on our way out one morning (a flickering bedside light and a faulty can opener), both had been addressed by the time we returned. Access to the property was easy, parking in the basement also. A lot of hotels charge between 30-$35/night for parking, here was $19. Although there were no meals available here, there is a separate cafe on the ground floor.

There are no complaints. It really irks me when people down-rate a perfectly good property because they didn't do their homework before they booked. If having breakfast supplied or free parking or a spa is important, apply those filters when you're looking.

The property was modern and very clean. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was really 2 rooms separated by an adjoining door. So, each room had its own bathroom. The smaller room of the two had a kitchenette. The larger one was spacious with a good sized lounge and bench kitchen with appliances and washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Would definitely be suitable for a longer stay. Secure parking was easy and there were a lot of spaces available. Communication with the property was easy and responsive and staff on site were very nice and professional. Property well located in Preston.

The location was easy access to Preston station and a short walk to Preston market , Woolworths and Aldi, as well as numerous eating options. Staff were friendly and helpful always, great service with a smile! The apartment was very well equipped for cooking, heatpumps in all rooms, serviced daily, laundry facilities in room, underground secure parking, onsite cafe, tvs in living area and main bedroom and , overall clean. We stayed seven nights with two children and it was overall a wonderful stay. We requested single beds instead of a double in one room and this was accommodated.

The noise of traffic in the night and early hours as we tried to sleep, as our apartment faced the roadside. I had submitted a request for an apartment away from the road after reading previous comments but this was unfortunately missed. If we needed to , however, we would not hesitate to stay at this property again despite this :)

Location was great for our requirements. The access to both visitor and secure parking was good. Staff at reception very accommodating and informative. Room allocated was perfect, nice and quiet and good view from balcony to city. Could not fault the room, very clean and comfortable. Great night sleep as bed spacious and to my liking. Well equipped bathroom and fantastic shower. Kitchen had everything that you could need for extended stay or eating in room. A pod coffee machine would be a nice touch but local cafe's are not far away.

Quest Preston is always clean and tidy, and the team are wonderful. It is close to my daughter's house so it's an ideal location for us.

The bed was very hard (108A) and we woke up sore on both mornings. Last time we stayed in the adjacent room (108B), the bed in that room was also very hard. We have never experienced this before and we have stayed numerous times in many different rooms. Perhaps these two rooms have had recent mattress upgrades to harder mattresses.

Location of property is very handy to restaurants and shops that you don’t need to rely on a car that much. The kitchen is always a plus that you can cook quick meals if you don’t want to dine out. Also, the availability of fully equipped gym is handy or have access to other gyms works out very well near by. Short trips to city, airport, and major shopping centres are attributed to the good location.

Not in anyone’s control but traffic sometimes can be noisy.

The place was cleaned, the customer service was excellent. We had two bedroom apartments with a little garden outside with lots of privacy. We booked two different rooms for two day as we had families travelling and they let us stayed in the same apartment which was amazing. We didn't have to move to another room. The place is close to the shopping centre, walking distance. Lots of restaurants and eatery places around. Car park available on request for 15.00 per day, really secured car park. We normally stay here when we travelled to Melbourne and its always been the best experienced. We loved it, and we will stay here again in the future. Price was reasonable as well. Overall experience is 9/10. Our last visit during Easter we were given a bottle of wine too ☺.

There was nothing we did not like.

We were delighted with our short stay in Preston. The location is great - we chose it because it is near our family but we found a wide array of great restaurants and the fabulous Preston Market, all within walking distance. Quest Apartments provide familiarity and comfort. The staff could not have been more helpful.

I honestly cannot think of anything that could be better. We had everything we needed and wanted and help that went above and beyond.

Everything about the property was great, from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff, Which made for a comfortable stay for me and my brothers. If you also enjoy Asian cuisine which I do, the property is located in a great part of Melbourne that can cater to that specific need. Last but not least the property is only a short drive away from Melbourne city centre.

My only one complaint is that when we first arrived and I needed to use the microwave to heat up food for myself, it was very clear that the microwave had not been cleaned. Why?…..Because there was dried up food still left on the glass plate in the microwave, which I was more than happy to clean myself, I’m not too sure whether other staying residents would take kindly to.
