Everything. The room was new, very large and well appointed. The bathroom was well clean with a lively shower and plenty of hot water. Stefano provided a very nice small breakfast in the room for 5 Euros. the location is perfect. walking distance to all the main sights. also only 150 metres to airport shuttle bus, hop on hop off bus stop, and bus to the railway station. we could not have found anywhere more convenient. we did not have a car. Stefano and his wife were very kind and helpful. I would certainly use this place again.

we liked everything. the outside of the building and the street do not look very nice when you arrive but we soon learned that it is very safe and inside the door and up in the old lift is a perfect place to stay.

Me and my partner stayed here in early may and it was nothing short of perfect. The room was amazing having been recently refurbished with brand new furniture, AC, usb wall plugs and a lovely balcony to sit on. Even during our stay the room was cleaned, providing us with new fresh towels, soap and shampoo. It’s also perfectly situated just off the main road with a bus station right outside to the airport (Via Roma 289), only 10 minutes from the train station and just 2 corners away from the main streets. The host was always accommodating, from staying up for our late arrival, giving us some eating recommendations and even help us with queries about travel around Scilly. The included breakfast was superb and much better than anything we have had elsewhere, especially those at chain hotels. All in all I don’t think we could have found a better B&B to stay in Palermo. Whenever we returned for our next visit this will be the first place we look up to stay at again.

Everything about our stay here was exceptional. The room was modern, very clean, comfortable and spacious. It was also refreshed daily, which was very appreciated. The location was great — right off of Maqueda street, which had many restaurants. Access to the train (Palermo Centrale) was approximately a 15-20 minute walk. The host, Stefano, was very available to us for any questions we had about the the city and was very accommodating — he is fantastic and very kind! He also helped us find an indoor (paying) parking spot for our rental car. We would happily return here if we were to stay in Palermo again. Grazie, Stefano!

We stayed here two nights and really enjoyed the spacious and very clean, quiet room. The location is great, very close to many notable sites in Palermo. The neighborhood put us off when we initially arrived but actually everything went great for our stay. Getting there with a car is difficult and parking is quite unclear, be careful to advise yourself on the ZTL - the place we were recommended to park gave misleading information that would result in hefty fines if we didnt know better. Also it states that it is 10e per night, we were actually charged 20e per night (and would be more for a larger car), excluding ZTL passes which you have to figure out yourself. Wifi didnt work on the last day which made life a little trickier for the ZTL and car situation.

It would be helpful to have better information for people traveling with a car.

The apartment has an excellent location, very close to the main pedestrial area, the Via Maqueda. Every important sights are within easy reach. The street itself isn’t noisy, there is only a little traffic. The suite is very well equipped, newly refurbished and very clean. The AC is very effective also. The owners, Stefano and his wife are very kind, they are really excellent people, very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there. Absolute recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Maqueda Suites in Palermo. The central location was ideal, making it easy to explore the city's attractions. The breakfast provided was delicious, starting each day off on a positive note. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional hospitality of the host. They were incredibly kind and always willing to help, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We only stayed one night here but it was a great choice for accommodation in Palermo that's affordable and right in the historical centre. It was minutes walk from cafes and restaurants. The rooms are huge and very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was served in the room where Stefano brought it to us at the time that we requested - super flexible! Overall, would definitely recommend this place!

Everything was great!

Stefano was really helpful in answering our questions. Room is modern, very spacious and clean. Good central location, you can walk to most sites in the city.

Parking is difficult, although Stefano helped us finding a spot. We'd recommend finding a place to park (if you visit by car, of course) before your stay. Ideally just outside of the ZTL zone and then walk to the B&B.

The owners were am amazing & did everything they could to make us comfortable. The water for shower needed to be hotter, and the mini refrigerator needed to be colder & they need a mini microwave.

The area was less than desirable.

Wonderful room, great location. Don’t be mislead by the entrance, which is in a regular building with very unique elevator that you need to take to 4th floor. But once you step into the reception area and the room, you are in for a treat by a fabulous owner and wife that take best care of you.
