I have had an amazing time at Jechrina! I had the warmest of welcomes by Jerry and his family , he explained everything clearly to me and showed me to my one bedroom apartment which was spacious, beautifully clean, well equipped with a very comfortable bed and air conditioning. The pool is just perfect, plenty of comfortable loungers and umbrellas, the food and atmosphere in the restaurant are second to none, I tried a variety of starters, salads, homemade mains and desserts..delicious! The icing on the cake is definitely the treatment from Jerry, Veronica, family and staff,(not forgetting Ida the lovely cleaner)nothing is too much trouble, I can’t wait to return and highly recommend.

We couldn't have wished for better accommodation and hosts. Thanks to Yianni, Jerry, Veronica and the family for making our stay not only memorable but one where we felt part of the family. The room was spacious, lovely and clean. The maid did a great job too. Every meal we had at the Piata restaurant adjoining the hotel was home cooked and amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Pool side was lovely and we could always get a bed and umbrella. My wife fell in love with a small family of cats which lived in a corner of the gardens. The location is excellent for the shops and beach and other restaurants. It's on a main road where you can catch a bus to Chania town centre (every 30 mins) and the Fun little land train journeys. Beaches in this area are fantastic with amazing sunset views.

We had a lovely stay at this place! 🤍 Yanna was incredibly kind and gentle — you can really feel that she puts her heart into making guests feel comfortable and at home. Gerry brought such a positive energy to our experience; always funny, friendly, and full of life. The entire stuff was very nice and always available if we needed anyting. Everyting was clean and well taken care of. The accomodation is in a very good location - 5 minutes walking to the beach and one minute from the bus station. Grocery stores, coffee shop and restaurants were also nearby. The pool was perfect, clean, and the food from the restaurant was very good. We would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and uplifting stay!

Spotlessly clean. Room was fabulous, very good size & had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The family are very welcoming & nothing is too much trouble when asking anything. Home cooked food is excellent. Less than 5 mins to a choice of beaches, situated within close walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops, bus stop. Recommended highly - you can't go wrong at Jechrina for your stay in Kato Doratso

No topless sunbathing round the pool - I respected their wishes & chose to go out to beach every day, which is a shame because all the money spent on drinks/food went to beach bars & not to Jechrina!

We were welcomed with open arms and how brilliant everything about our stay proved to be. This is the jewel in the crown and how lucky we were to find such a very clean, well run family hotel. We were made to feel like part of the family. We cannot fault anything and wish to thank Yanna.Papa, Jerry and the delightful Veronica for such a relaxing time…nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend. The icing on the cake was an immaculate, warm, sparkly clean swimming pool overlooked by their great restaurant and well run bar. We will return.

All good and nothing to dislike

The location is great, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We had a 1 bed apartment which was large and kept super clean by the cleaner who was lovely. The owners, Jerry and family are hospitable friendly and approachable, always happy to help with a question and Jerry sorted transfers back to the airport, the cost for that was €40 euro, initially I was going to get the bus back, but once I saw they were very busy on the Chania service. standing room only mostly, I decided to opt for a taxi back to the airport. The bus stop to Chania was 5 minutes walk away and cost €1.20 each way. The pool newly renovated, was large for the size of the hotel, warm, clean and refreshing after a day at the Beach, we had it to ourselves most times. Plenty of sunbeds, and to have the option of a bar and restaurant on site was a plus, the hotel is small only 10 rooms, so nice and cosy, family run who work there socks off, the restaurant is open for breakfast and until the last person leaves at night, in regards to that there was rarely any one past 11pm and noise was so minimum that there was probably more traffic noise from the main road than there was from anything in the hotel. We had a great time, eat some amazing food and drank plenty of Mythos, have a great time and thank you to Jerry and family for a great time, Yammas!!!

I researched the hotel before hand, Google map, street view, read reviews etc, so knew it was by a main road, so I was prepared for road noise, it wasn't as bad as I expected, you did get the usual moped noise but mostly I never thought it was a concern.

A truly wonderful week spent at Jechrina with my daughter. Its small, peaceful and the staff are very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, they made us feel like part of their family. Swimming pool is huge, food is delicious and location is 2 mins from the beach and 15 mins taxi to Chania. All in all, this is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Thank you to Yanna, Jerry, Veronica and all for making it an unforgettable holiday for me and Liv. 😊

The most friendly welcome I’ve ever had anywhere. Mama, Jerry and all the staff were super attentive and made you instantly feel like family. Restaurant food was fabulous. Pool area was absolutely lovely. This should be a 3 star because it’s much better than a 2 star.

Bed was a little too firm, but not a big issue. Noisy road but if you close the shutters as well as the balcony door, it was hardly noticeable.

The hotel is wonderful, very friendly staff. Excellent accommodation option, right next to the sea. The nearest beach is a 5-6 minute walk, but there are other options within walking distance. The apartments are easily accessible from the center of Chania by bus. There are also two good supermarkets nearby. The room is very spacious, the kitchen is excellent for cooking. Each room had air conditioning - it really saved us from the heat. We also liked the restaurant - the portions are large and filling, the prices are not expensive.
