Booking.com description and room size did not match the room I was given. Strong smell of drains in the bathroom.

Well managed property, clean and equipped with everything you need. The location is 2 minutes from the metro and city center accessible by foot. Everything in the apartment is efficient and you can see the owner think about every little detail.

The matrix was to soft in one of the sides, and need to be replaced.

The entrance system was very convenient, the room was clean and updated, the bed was comfortable, the room was cool and comfortable even though it was quite hot outside, the water pressure was strong and the hot water was plentiful, the Internet was fast and reliable, the location was fairly good for accessible museums and the city center, it was wonderfully quiet, the elevator worked smoothly when I didn't feel like the stairs, there were convenient storage lockers where I could leave bags so I could enjoy my last day in Madrid (even after checkout) . . . I could go on. It was excellent, in general, and I would prefer it to a traditional hotel (eg, with a front desk) every time.

It took me a few minutes to put together that the door security for the rooms is literally on the handle appliance (it should have been more obvious in hindsight, but I was tired from long international flights and ground transit), which was a little frustrating for a couple of minutes. The location is also not quite as central as I might have preferred, but it wasn't far off. The late checkout option is paid-only (some hotels offer a little extra time by request). There aren't any lobby restrooms, as far as I could tell. To be real, I am having to stretch to find things I didn't like - it was pretty great.

On line check in did not work well. The cleaning service came at 9.00 in the morning and was not happy that the room was not free yet. She was almost waiting outside the room, putting pressure on us to leave the room

The location is fantastic if you are looking for a typical neighborhood, not very touristy but still well connected to everything. We love the market across the street and the different bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is clean and staff very responsive.

I have said it 2 years ago and will say it again: something needs to done about the drain pipes. You can’t really charge that amount of money and have any sort of bad smell whatsoever. In 2023 we were told it would be fixed, unfortunately it was not.

The location is excellent – conveniently close to Atocha centre, with less than a 20-minute walk, yet the area itself is wonderfully quiet and serene. I particularly appreciated the efficient communication via WhatsApp. Arranging an early check-in (paid) was remarkably straightforward and completed within 15 minutes.

The accommodation might use a storage water heater, which means that once the hot water runs out, you’ll need to wait 30 minutes for it to replenish. While I appreciate the use of such an energy-efficient system, it would have been better if guests were informed about this in advance. This is especially important during winter, as running out of hot water midway through a shower can be quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the bathroom lacked a towel rack or heating, making it feel very cold.

Great place. Close to 2 metro stations and train station. Huge apartament with everyrhing thats needed. Even more than needed. Phone charger, oldschool game console, water bottles that you can fill up. Contact with personel via Whatsup top tier. There is a loudry machine you can you on the ground floor. There is a central AC, but its not working in the bathroom so it might be cold in the winter time.

Spacious, clean, quiet apartment with friendly staff who are very responsive on WhatsApp to any queries or problems. Online checkin and checkout worked well, with early checkin available for a €10 fee, which helped us out on arrival. Teabags, coffee and a welcome snack were provided. Guest laundry on ground floor. They provide free luggage holding lockers that you can use at the beginning or end of your stay. Free use of local gym is provided, but I didn’t try it out.

The apartment location was not the best for exploring Madrid as it’s a bit outside the centre. Most things tourists want to see are a 15-min to 40-min brisk uphill walk from the apartment. If you are happy to walk a lot like we are, it is absolutely fine, but I wouldn’t recommend this location to tourists with little kids with you or limited mobility. It’s located on quite a busy, unattractive road was unfortunately a little worse for wear. We could open windows onto internal courtyards… that were covered with bird poo. One cupboard was held (almost) closed with a bunch of stickers, there was a tear in our bedsheet and the bathroom pedal bin was broken. Our teenager found the sofa bed to be quite uncomfortable.

The apartment exceeded all expectations! First of all, the location is perfect — close to the metro, bus stop, and everything is within walking distance. The interior is incredibly well thought out — you can tell the host truly cares about the guest experience. I really appreciated all the thoughtful little details: yoga mats, an Instax camera for instant photos, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking. The bathroom has all the necessary toiletries, the closet has plenty of hangers, and there are reusable bottles available for use. A handwritten welcome postcard from the host was a lovely personal touch. It’s also super convenient that there’s self-check-in, so you can arrive at any time. There’s a luggage storage room and the option to request extra cleaning — everything is designed for maximum comfort.

The only minor downside was a strong smell of bleach in the bathroom, which didn’t fully go away and was a bit distracting. Not a big issue, but worth mentioning.

The check-in and check-out process was smooth. The room was nice, and I appreciated having coffee and a French press. I was able to cook my breakfast with the utensils provided. The bed was okay, and I liked having a washing machine in the room. The location was good, just a 7-minute walk from the subway, and I also used the gym, which was convenient.

The shower cubicle was extremely small. I'm not a big person, and I could barely move inside. It's impossible to bend down to wash your feet because your back hits the faucet. Also, on some days, there was a strong smell of food inside the apartment, which was quite unpleasant.
