As long as you realise what you've booked, this is perfectly decent. It's an unsupervised hotel, so - no front desk, no staff on-site, keypad locks on the front door, and lock box for your room key, and a single vending machine for snacks. The hotel and room, although basic, seems well maintained and clean, and is absolutely fine for a place to crash for the night. The room was surprisingly spacious, albeit a slightly odd long/thin shape. The bed was clean and comfortable, and there's a wardrobe, desk, TV, kettle and tea and coffee making facilities (no fridge though). The ensuite was a decent size, with a double shower, and soap and combined shower gel/ shampoo provided, as well as towels obviously. Two pieces of advice: 1. The shower is a domestic-style electric shower, and it was set to Eco power level, with the temperature turned up high, and a warning not to put the power level to high because the water is very hot. However - the temperature control is actually a throttle on the water flow (slower =hotter), which meant there wasn't much power behind the water. I got a better result by setting the power to High and then turning the temperature down to around medium (giving higher flow rate). The higher electrical power meant the temperature was then about the same, but I got a more satisfying shower (it's not a power shower by any stretch of the imagination but it was a lot better than the rather weak water output on Eco). 2. The room was a bit chilly when I arrived but there is an electrical heater on the wall, and once it was on (I found level 3, both elements about right after initially having it on full) then the room was comfy. Safety: It's unmanned, but I didn't have any issues Walkability: A few minutes walk to local shops, fast food, etc. Food and drinks: Just a small single vending machine for snacks - no restaurant or kitchen/ in-room food facilities.

We weren't expecting much with the price but we found it was adequate and value for money. We couldn't find anywhere to eat though only bar snacks at the horse and jockey across the road. Also the sandwich shop next door was closed so struggled to find somewhere for breakfast the next morning.

Not the hotels fault but it's difficult to find somewhere decent to eat nearby. There is a curry house across the road but that's OK if you like a curry lol. There was a pizza shop further down but didn't look that nice and it also looked closed as there was no menu or anything in the shop front, so my advice is to eat before going.

There was a large car park with plenty of spaces, and our room overlooked this. Self-check in went well, after negotiating the coding system. We were unsure about the place being un-manned, but didn’t encounter any problems. The room was clean, modern and the bathroom had a large walk-in shower which looked new. The electric shower had really good water pressure and temperature. Together with tea and coffee making facilities, there was an iron and ironing board provided, plus hairdryer, which were a bonus. The window had vertical blinds plus thick curtains.

Some of the furniture was a little tired, and pillows could do with replacing, but over all it was good for the price.

Great location, room and bed were comfortable, bathroom was all good, good shower etc. Good communication from the manager as i had a funny check in time and they accommodated it which i was grateful for. Parking was easy and car felt safe. Easy check in.

Nothing really, over all was really good. Could hear next door through the adjoining door but they weren’t noisy. Cleaner let her kid run around/scream in the hall way in the morning which was kinda annoying.

Good value for money compared to other in the area at the same time, check in was really easy with self check in boxes, good amenities nearby and best of all was free parking directly outside!

Only thing was nobody to contact on front desk when I ran out of toilet paper but grabbed some from the shop no issue - I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a simple easy stopover!

The hotel is unmanned but instructions for entry were clear, although the key safe was a little tricky to open. Room was as expected with all necessary facilities, including kettle, tea/coffee tray and tv. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom with soap and shower gel. Free parking. Quick response to my telephone query.

One of the ceiling lights glowed green all night. This may have been a security feature but it was quite bright and was somewhat annoying. Some of the curtain hooks were broken.

Very clean. No staff so check in was a bit odd. The key boxes on the wall are a little bit too high for someone who is only 5'2! The bed was a bit lumpy but ok. Rooms are smaller than expected and it would have been nice to have a comfy chair or sofa to sit on. The dressing table was a bit small to do everything on. BUT it was spotlessly clean and everything was in great condition.

A sofa would be nice. The dressing table was too small. Since there is no place to get breakfast nearby, a fridge in the room would have been useful to store milk etc for breakfast. I thought the price was a bit high in comparison with the nearby Holiday Inn, considering the lack of staff, a bar, and amenities. It was fine for what we needed on this occasion but i probably wont stay here again.

The room was clean and of a decent size. The check-in process is straightforward enough, there is no reception so everything is done via door codes and key locks but it was ok. Just make sure you don't have a flat phone battery when you're trying come back in as you've got two door codes to remember! The room includes teen coffee-making facilities full stop there is no on-site restaurant or cafe for breakfast but there are options nearby as well as a Lidl round the corner.

Ease of checking in Secure building Clean Quiet Comfortable bed Metal teaspoons Location

Electric went off a couple of times, and we pinpointed it to the kettle being the cause so we couldn't make a brew. RCD unit had simple instructions on how to switch it back on after it had tripped. This didn't spoil our visit. We would definitely return!

The convenience of the location being unmanned is actually a really good idea. No faff, use your code and in you go. The location was great, close to local shops and places to eat. Very easy to get to where I needed to for work. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Overall very pleased with my stay..

The pillows were very flat, not very comfortable and a fridge to stock some essentials would be perfect for times when you aren't leaving the property..
