Very friendly, welcoming staff. The room was large, very modern and very clean with good facilities in the room. Big walk in shower and very nice complimentary toiletries. Large comfortable bed so got a good nights rest as it was also very quiet as not a massive hotel. Breakfast was freshly cooked, good selection and they started serving at 6:30am which was great as i had an early start. I'll definitely use the hotel again when I'm next in the area.

The only slight negative was having to use the sports bar next door for the evening meal. Not a great selection on offer although it was reasonably priced.

We stayed in a standard room but the room was beautiful. very big, huge bed, huge bathroom and shower. A good sized fridge in the room, with water and fresh milk! A very nice touch! Nice biscuits with the tea and coffee. Luxury coffee bags. Bathrobe and slippers Iron & Ironing board. Nice view

We were at a wedding. Food was okay - not great. Ran out of some things before everyone had chance. Breakfast was okay. Sausages were lovely but the bacon, tomato and mushroom were very dry. We were a table of 10 though, so Ii think those items had been prepared earlier and unfortunately they had dried out. There was loud music Sunday morning coming from underneath our room. I found out later, it was some kind of church service. This wouldn't stop me staying again though. Would just bring earplugs next time.. Lovely hotel.

From the moment we arrived we knew it would be a good stay. We had travelled from B'ham to attend a family wedding in the area. The staff were welcoming, professional, informative. The location is clean and well maintained. Just so lovely. The Hotel sits within a little Business estate next to a small thriving Football club. So unexpected, but adds a unique aspect to the location. As well presented on the outside, the inside did not disappoint. High standards of cleanliness everywhere. The Bedrooms.... Ahhh! Exceptional. The Bed, large spacious so comfy. We slept like babies. Shower facilities Beautiful. Then to top it all off, The breakfast... Brilliant! We intend to visit again next year as it was a wonderful stay and we are now inspired to explore Lytham a few miles up the road. Thankyou all staff at Mill Farm. Tina, Julia, Anthony, Kim and Team. Amazing experience. Beautiful room, great staff and very hospitable. Shout out to Charlotte, Rachael, Sam, Emily, Tony (great chef), Alysha and Ian. Felt right at home during the stay. Highly recommend staying here, peaceful area and nice surroundings.

Breakfast service closes too early. A lunch option would be ideal for this staying there. Tony the chef had no problem however making me something for breakfast and the staff were more than accommodating also.

The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless. Georgia at Reception was very professional and friendly and she went out of her way to help us. Emily who served breakfast is a credit to the hotel. She was on her own taking orders, serving food, making coffee and clearing tables. She did this professionally and with a smile on her face. Management need to look at staff levels as Emily had far too much to deal with.

The Milano restaurant was closed. There was a limited choice on the menu in the Sports Bar. We asked for the beer battered fish and were advised there was no fish left. This was 7.30pm on a Saturday night.

This was not what we expected as it’s attached to a football stadium on the outskirts of a small town. That said the high quality of the finishings is impressive, the room was spacious and very comfortable and the food was very good quality. There was a function on the night we stayed and the music could be heard through the floor of our room which was not the best. Also the bar staff were a bit overwhelmed by the numbers. But overall we liked the place.

The hotel room is fantastic. Luxury, everything thought through. Beds are super comfortable, spacious and amazing to see the football pitch from our room. Also used the gym, it is small but I was the only one using it so was fab.

The breakfast could have more selection. Americanos could be part of the package rather have to pay if you don't want instant coffee. The continental breakfast could have much wider selection too.

The rooms were brilliant, and the location was fine. We didn't need anything that was in the centre of a town. The breakfast was very good. Felt very safe as you needed the room key to get through all the doors inside the hotel. Only downside was the bar closed at 10pm. I would definitely stay here again, we paid £62.50pp which I felt was very good value for money.

Just the bar opening hours, we weren't told that it would close at 10pm so when we came down after our meal, the bar had closed up.

Great location for us when visiting family in Lancashire. Love the rooms with a view over the pitch. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfasts in the cafe are excellent with lots of choice for a small venue. Large bar on site is great and it does food.

Food choice in the bar is quite limited but good quality. Restaurant seems to be permanently shut which is a shame but understandable if it is quiet.

The hotel was beautifully presented with a good choice for breakfast. Rooms were superb with an excellent football pitch view where you could watch the game if you wish - first one I’ve ever found which allows you to do this. The beds were large and very comfy, an excellent night’s sleep. As it was match day a parking space very close to the hotel entrance had been reserved to park in
