Location excellent for everything - the town, the train station, the buses, the front and the windmill. Bed very comfortable. Room clean and adequate supplies of all the teas / coffees and toiletries etc. Breakfast very nice apart from the bacon. Pleasant area to sit outside at the front. Able to store our bags for the day after checkout. The birdsong in the morning.

Need to cook the bacon properly. I like very crispy bacon so I probably should have ordered it that way. First day it had hardly touched the pan so couldn't eat it. Second day I ordered it to be well done - it came out cooked so was at least edible but it certainly wasn't well done. Bar prices expensive. No view from the window (frosted out). Even though the room was to the rear of the property I would have welcomed the view of the back yard, chimney pots, birds etc. rather than the frosted out glass of nothingness. Room on top floor manageable for us but more elderly may struggle on the stairs.

The room was beautiful , tea coffee and everything else included sweets biccies and hot chocolate was great for the kids . The room was comfortable and the bath and bathroom huge !!!! The pub and breakfast was fantastic , staff sang happy birthday to my son . Couldn’t ask for more !!!

The taps and flush need some tlc in room 8 and paint in bathroom sprucing but other than that room was perfect . The only issue which is noticed was late night outside the kitchen staff being loud and swearing … expected some noise obviously they have to clean and it’s a pub but the family room might be situated in wrong place .

My partner & I stayed here for 1 night as it was my birthday. When we arrived we checked in & went straight to our room. Upon entering we discovered that the hotel staff had decorated the room, wrote a birthday card for me & left some lovely treats! This was unexpected, thoughtful & a lovely surprise. It really was appreciated & set the tone for a fabulous birthday in Lytham. The room itself was a good size & had a kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, biscuits etc. There were also bottles of water, an ironing board, iron, hairdryer & fan. The bed was comfy & a good size. We both had a great night's sleep & even though our room overlooked a road, we heard no noise at all. I am a light sleeper but we were also not disturbed by any of the usual hotel noise/other guests etc that often occur. Sure, the room & the bathroom were a little tired & would benefit from being updated, but it would not put us off staying there again. The shower was powerful & there were a selection of toiletries to use. The breakfast the next morning was lovely & was included in the room rate. There were plenty of choices on the menu to suit all tastes. The Queen Hotel's location is central to all that Lytham has to offer & is a great venue. The staff are warm & friendly. We had a drink there before we walked into the main area of Lytham. We always tend to call in here for a drink when we are visiting Lytham for the day, because it is usually bustling with people & has a great vibe. The outside area is also a lovely space & is a sun trap when the sun comes out. It is also great for people watching! All in all the hotel room rate was very reasonable for everything that was included & we will 100% be back!

As already mentioned, the room we were in just needs a little updating, but in fairness, the hotel is an old building & these things often go hand in hand.

Convenient location close to beach and local amenities. The hotel provides bar services with an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu at reasonable prices. Customer service was excellent with a special mention of SARA who gave us a warm welcome and was especially helpful in carrying our two suitcases to and from our room.

There is no on site parking. On street parking is limited. There is a pay and display car park directly opposite the hotel which provides convenient parking at reasonable rates but demand can be high at peak holiday times.

Lovely room. Great Location. On the whole, friendly staff and would definitely return

Rushed breakfast. Asked to leave the bar @ 10.30 on Friday evening as it was quiet. Just finished outside meal and felt thrown out of bar. Room exceptionally warm but fan provided so this helped. Did not like hearing a comment about another guest who had checked out between staff. The guest was just making a polite observation and it didn’t warrant the comment. Perhaps the member of staff was just having an off day. Felt uncomfortable hearing it.

Extremely comfortable bed. Good quality towels. Ironing board, iron and hairdryer in room. Great location on the seafront and very close to shops. Staff very friendly and efficient. Superb breakfast with lots of choice.

The lighting wasn't great and the bedroom had torn wallpaper and looked grubby. The carpet needs deep cleaning or replacing. The bathroom was quite spacious, but needs shelving near the sink, rather than behind the toilet. The flooring looked grubby and the shower door gaped at the bottom. I really do like my accommodation to be spotlessly clean. This won't put me off returning, because of the positives.

Friendly welcoming staff. Very good hospitality tray with two bottles of water fizzy and still, an array of teas and coffees and a jar of quality jelly beans. Hotel is situated in a lovely spot overlooking the windmill.

Lack of a welcome pack which would have been useful. The hot tap in the bathroom does not function how it should with water pressure. Rust in bathroom sink and shower cubicle. Fresh fruit as part of the continental a little limited. My preference would be a fresh fruit salad. Apples and bananas would of been nice to save for later.

Staff are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast is of a good quality and cooked well - although it would be nice to be asked if you would like anymore coffee, was given one small cup and enough milk for three? also option of jam/marmalade with the solitary slice of toast would have been welcome.

Staircase up to the rooms is very smelly, stained and dank it doesn’t create the best first impression. Time the carpet was changed, it lets the place down!! Thankfully I need not of worried, as the room was spotless, bed comfy, lots of nice little added treats on the beverages tray and the rest of the bar, dining areas clean and tidy.

Breakfast was very good, though I noticed a different menu for non residents, but it was well presented & very tasty, there wasn’t any muesli as mentioned on the menu, but all very enjoyable with excellent service, so thank you 🤩. The bedroom was very warm & cosy, though small, which was expected for a single room. Great location overlooking the lovely Lytham green.

Hot water tap in the sinks in the bathroom was stiff and therefore the flow wasn’t great. No other issues.

It was a 10 minute walk to the Lowther Pavilion which is why we chose this hotel as we had a show in the evening. A 5 minute walk to plenty of other restaurants and shops. The room was cosy but would have benefitted from having two chairs not jut one by the dressing table. Breakfast was very good and the staff were excellent.

Nothing. It would have been better if there was a car park but not every hotel has the space for one.
