Our room on the ground floor with terrace was spacious separate toliet, shower and bath the bed was huge and very comfortable. Me my husband and father in law made use of the swimming pool not realising there was steps in the mens changing rooms my husband and father in law couldn't manage due to disabilities and I have to say the staff there went above and beyond to help so they could use the pool i was really impressed how kind they where luckily the spa treatment room was free so the staff said they could enter through there..many thanks you know who you are 😁 Breakfast in the morning is lovely help yourself buffet style close to all amenities

Ordered sandwiches at dinner time we waited quite a long time for them i didn't think they where worth the money when they eventually turned up

Great sized room with a balcony. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location looking out to the sea. Plenty of free parking. Good night sleep due to the bed being very comfy. Also good blackout curtains. I would stay again but maybe not in the height if summer due to not having a fridge in the room so nowhere to keep cool drinks.

It puzzles me why most hotels don't have clippy hangers. You can never hang skirts or strapless dresses in the wardrobe. A fridge in the room would be better. Especially in the summer. I stored my bottles of water in the sink in the bathroom to try keep them cold. I think the food in the restraunt was overpriced. It was presented beautifully but unfortunately the flavour wasn't there.

We had a sea view room with a balcony although a bit pricy the room was amazing. Breakfast was really good although very busy in the restaurant. Most of the staff were lovely. The hotel is in a prime position

Most staff were lovely some on reception could be a bit offhand. We stood waiting at reception til dead on 3 to get the keys- no exceptions! The main bar should have been child free from 9pm - loads of kids in even though they had their own entertainment. Bar not big enough for evening entertainment. Kids running up and down the corridors after 12pm even though it was a quiet zone.

Wow, our short break for Valentines exceeded our expectations, which doesn’t happen very often! Mega sized rooms and lovely and warm. The food at breaky was epic, and entertainment was fab, as was the facilities in the pool, jacuzzi, steam room.

We had a poor experience in the restaurant downstairs on Saturday night and Sunday morning. We waited 25 mins for drinks with our dinner, needless to say dinner arrived before drinks! We did have them taken off the bill, but we were both a bit fed up by that point! Sunday morning in the restaurant for breakfast, we were shown to a table, went to pick our food items and returned with a large family having moved next to us, and young kids running back and forth over our seats, yes over our seats with parents not giving a sh&£e! Needless to say we moved all our food and drinks to another part of the restaurant - not a great experience!

We have stayed at The Dalmeny before,and always been delighted.but this short break was really excellent. The room was really spacious and had sliding doors to a small "garden" and the handy car park. Staff were professional and friendly and breakfast was varied and well-cooked. Unfortunately,we did not use the large swimming pool on this occasion. St Annes is a very pleasant town and the hotel has easy access to the promenade and a decent pub The Lord Derby--also a decent carvery. We will certainly return sooner than later.

Nothing at all about the hotel, but the professional moaner I encountered when checking out,and the lady who complained about the empty hand sanitiser in the dining room!!

Great pool - never too busy during our stay, great facilities and activities for kids. Clean, lovely upgrade to a sea view room, large room for a family and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay again despite one or two negatives.

No big negatives really. Kids entertainment at night was a bit too raucous loud and too long until 10pm, my son was too tired and missed the end. The bar food was expensive and not brilliant but ok, had to send chips back as they were cold. But nothing too bad.

We loved the extra large bedroom with terrace spotlessly clean huge bed and pillows good. Toliet Separate from bathroom and the shower was Separate from the bath. We paid for breakfast I'm the morning it was delicious everything from cereal, fruit to a cooked breakfast it's all self service as much as you like. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful We would definitely recommend this hotel .

My husband found it a struggle to get out of the bath could do with a hand rail. Other than this I couldn't fault it.

Hotel location is brilliant. Room was nice and comfortable staff were lovely and helpful. Children loved the pool and the entertainment in the evening. The games and prizes bubble machine, all very good touches. Children also enjoyed the buffet evening meal although it was expensive

Not very convenient having check in time 3pm, the same time as the floats in the pool area. Bar areas were draughty and cold due to doors open at the front. Evening meal was extremely expensive. £12 for children's pizza? And £17.99 for burger and chips. I would think twice about eating here again, simply because of the pice. Breakfast wasn't as good as I remembered it from years ago.but was OK.

The location was great but our view out the window into a court yard that wasn’t well kept or maintained. Other than reception who you felt was just doing a job no real care we never really had any other interaction with staff. There was only one disabled parking bay for a big hotel and although there was enough parking it was mainly in an underground car park that all felt bit tight. Breakfast was the one area I thought was fantastic and food was great. Hotel for me didn’t have that warm inviting stay feel about it

After an initial mix up with our original room we were upgraded to a room with a balcony by way of an apology. The receptionist couldn't have been nicer.

The parking. It would almost put us off staying again which is a pity. The front car park was full on arrival and it was the same each day. We were advised to use the car park round the back which was almost impossible to find and tiny. Not to mention the hike up a flight of stairs and a winding walk to reception.
