We went on a midweek break for my boyfriend's birthday and I was impressed by the standard of the hotel. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and obliging. We booked a classic plus double which, although on the small side, was very well decorated. We asked if a bigger room was available and because it was my boyfriend's birthday we were upgraded to a superior one. They even provided a birthday balloon on the table at dinner which I thought was a very nice touch. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was very good. Highly recommended and I would certainly visit again.

Always a total pleasure to stay here,nothing no trouble,the restaurant staff fabulous and I'm sure it's Tony who I'm to believe has been there 13 years,always does the night duty.so professional and very well thought of buy all staff and residents. Friendly hotel. Clean and refurbished very recently. Informal atmosphere. Quiet area but handy for Lytham, Blackpool etc. Lots of computer/phone and appliance charging points. Well cleaned and serviced daily. Shower over bath constant. Temperature.

Would have preferred walk in shower but none available. Windows too high to open without being athletic...hard to change as very high rooms. Very early breakfast but lots of choice on menu.

Friendly staff, very helpful - lots of choice for breakfast also lovely dining room, Bedroom had wet room/great shower and cleanliness and size of room all excellent (ground floor room), large entertainment room/bar area, and it had the best gym (lots of modern upto date equipment in good condition) - the beds were very comfortable also...

Had to park on roadside alternatively had to leave car keys in reception as some cars were parked 2 deep in carpark

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bedford Hotel. We went for the Lytham Festival and the hotel was in a great location not far from the beach and a 5 min drive from the festival. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and well equipped with a large wardrobe and plenty of hangers. Iron and ironing board, hair dryer, tea and coffee. There were toiletries in the bathroom soap shampoo and shower gel. A slight improvement would be to add a small shelf in the shower as there isn't anywhere to put the shampoo whilst washing your hair which proved quite difficult. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and a good choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, fresh fruit juice and a full English all included in the price. I would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was excellent, so were the evening meals, the staff were very attentive, friendly and efficient. The hotel was very clean and bright and the dance floor was a bonus. The hotel is in a good area, close to the promenade, shops and transport links into Blackpool.

The restaurant for our evening meal was a little bright for us, that's all!

The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and served quickly. The staff were very friendly and informative. Very relaxing clean hotel. Great location to St Anne's beach,shops, public transport outside to get to Blackpool and Lytham. I stayed in a twin room beds were very comfortable, room was immaculate, could of just done with a little more shelving in the bathroom but that's not a negative just a suggestion. Will definitely be back.

Again not a negative but my room was over the air con unit and kitchen so a little loud but its a working hotel so you have to expect.

Location. Bedroom/ shower very comfortable and clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast is very good. All other areas, lounge, bar, etc were good

We had one evening meal at the hotel, which was poor/adequate for the price. Meat rather tough vegetables hard in places

Every aspect of The Bedford Hotel is exceptional. The staff are attentive and approachable, they are obviously following the good example set by the owner of the hotel. The food is excellent. It is very clean and tastefully decorated... Its a credit to everyone involved in its day to day running......we will definitely be revisiting!!

From a personal point of view.... there was nothing to dislike.

Great location, quiet but close to the beach and everything I needed. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had - croissants were mouth watering delicious 😋
