This stay was a birthday present for my daughter along with tickets to see a Queen tribute band at Lowther Pavillion. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast was delicious, rooms were comfortable and a reasonable size, there was a choice of bars, a swimming pool and a freephone for taxis at reception. It’s close to the pier and beach and a short walk into the town. There is a good size car park and it is close to a bus stop with good links should you decide to leave the car. The evening meals sounded nice from the daily menu, although we didn’t actually eat there. We also booked afternoon tea and although they weren’t doing afternoon tea at the time, they did put one on for us and it was gorgeous and reasonably priced. If I had any complaints it would be a little more choice at breakfast (one of our party wanted black pudding and another was craving pancakes), for the drinks in the bar to be a little less expensive and I would have liked it if it was dog friendly as Lytham St. Anne’s is a lovely dog friendly place and I would love to stay with our dogs.

Pleasant, helpful staff. Good choice of food which was all self service. Large car park plenty of room. Location very good opposite the front & close to town. Clean comfortable modern room. Pleased we were upgraded to main hotel & not in the annexe as my husband struggled to get up stairs and we were thankful for a lift to our floor.Had a swimming pool but we didn’t use it. It was being painted in the front areas of the hotel & they did the work without disrupting the public.

Reception had no map or information about surrounding areas & entertainment readily available, possibly because hotel close to tourist information opposite on pier. Also no newspapers available so had to walk into town. A lot of people staying for the bridge group who were friendly & knew each other. There was a bridge club event in evenings which was held in ballroom area & very few people went into the lounge bar next to it to avoid making a noise while they were playing.

We stayed in room 17 (one of the balcony rooms at the front of the hotel). It was clean and spacious for us as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Would be lovely to sit out and look at the beach in the summer on a warm day/evening. The only down side of this room is it’s right next to the lift and there was some noise from that (and can hear people quite loudly in the landing) early in the morning. It didn’t bother us too much but if you want a quieter room this one probably isn’t for you. The kids activities and pool were a hit and the entertainment was also good. The staff were really helpful and friendly particularly in the bar and restaurant. The bar food was really tasty and reasonably priced.

Arcade is great for the kids but a lot of the machines weren’t working or turned on which was a shame. The shower was a bit hit and miss for power and temperature.

I love the fact that the children are entertained in the lounge. But when it got to Bingo time,the parents were asked to get their children to sit with them and be quiet. Quite a few children were still on the dance floor,running around and being very noisy. He asked again to take the children off the dance floor,still no reaction from the parents. We could hardly hear the numbers above the screaming. This was the parents fault,not the entertainer. I heard quite a lot of people complaining about it. I don’t know the answer,but one is needed.

Not stayed here before, we usually stay at the Glendower but it was full so opted for this hotel. We paid £120 for 1 night and this included breakfast. We asked for high floor and quiet room but as we booked last min the hotel emailed me to advise our room would be above the ballroom so we may hear some noise but this wasn’t the case for us. We didn’t arrive back to the hotel till gone 11 and the bar was in darkness and all was quiet and we slept like a log. Considering this is a family hotel and we saw many kids you wouldn’t know as we didn’t hear them, only at breakfast time and the breakfast room had a person dressed as a giant Peter Rabbit entertaining them which was lovely for the kids. Breakfast was lovely and very handy that latest sitting was up to 10:30 and this suited us. Hubby enjoyed the sausages and bacon and there was options of cereal, fruit, yogurt and toast and jams all served as a help yourselves buffet. Great location with a big carpark. We would be happy to stay again.

Good Value for money. Swimming pool. Plenty of choices Dinner and Breakfast. Parking. Opposite the Beach. Friendly Staff. I had an upgraded room due to current decorating. Close proximity to Town centre. Towels provided for swim. Check out at 11am. Will return

Not so much dislike. However, Hotel was being redecorated at this time which was reflected in the price and my room was upgraded. Once completed the Hotel will be even better. No USB points for recharging mobile however a Staff member loaned me a connection plug. Could have used a do not disturb sign, cleaner knocked on my door sooner than the departure time.

We have been coming St Ives Hotel for over a decade now so love the familiarity of the hotel and team. Everyone is so welcoming and want to make sure you have the best stay ever by doing whatever possible to meet your and your families needs. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are perfect, the recent refurb has given life throughout the hotel making it even more fabulous.

My main bug bear this year was the parking, I'm sure I won't be alone and ,it must be added, it was out of the hotels hands. This was due to much needed building work taking place replacing the old brickwork on the perimeter of the carpark. I felt the evening meal options weren't as appealing as previous years, a few options were different variations of the menu from the evening before, i do believe this was to limit the food waste in the hotel but we have definitely had better when we have stayed before.

The room, the staff were excellent friendly & approachable, Always happy to help. The breakfast was superb freshly cooked buffet style . Plenty of choice from hot food to cereals, fresh fruit yoghurt..☺️👍

The bathroom in our room let the stay down, lots of dust on the wall radiator which was thick the top of the toilet & the wall tiles weren't cleaned properly they had dust plus they felt sticky when trying to wipe off.shower head wasn't clean, quite a bit of rust on above shower fitting. Plus we were given extra pillows which were yellow/black stained 😞 Unfortunately didn't get to use the pool 😕

We stayed in the Annex. The room was nice and spacious. It was clean throughout and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful which we really enjoyed. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

WiFi wasn't great. Very hard to connect and stay connected on tablets and phones whilst in our room. Also the children's playroom that was strictly for under 5s had older children in there and taking things out of the soft play area which our children (4&1) were playing with. They were jumping, running around and throwing the Soft play pieces which hit our 1 year old. We had no choice but to leave and go back to our room. Older kids ruined it for our little ones because their parents didn't care!!
