The main building is beautiful. Decoration is stunning & everywhere is exceptionally clean. Every member of staff that I came across was so helpful & friendly. The food is also delicious. We had 2 people in our party who are gluten free. The kitchen were able to adapt meals that ordinarily would contain gluten, so that we could eat them

The annex is 100m or so away. It is beautifully decorated but feels a little soul-less as you don’t see anyone around. There is a lovely lounge area, but I saw no-one & there are no staff in the annex. F&B is served in the main building & that’s also where the gym etc is. It means that the annex is lovely & quiet, but beware if it rains as you have to go to the main building for breakfast

The location of the hotel is great with ample parking. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and the bed, enormous! Had a great night's sleep. The spa facilities are amazing - would definitely make more use of the pool and jacuzzi next time. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. - the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had! All the staff we encountered were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome.

My only gripe is the 10% service charge that is automatically added to everything you buy. The barman literally poured 2 glasses of prosecco, and we had £1.80 added to the bill. It does state in the hotel literature that you can refuse this, but when you are handed a receipt with the charge already added, it makes for an awkward conversation to ask for it to be removed.

Location brilliant. Staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Beautiful hotel very clean . We were in the annex and were given a second floor room with a sea view which was lovely . Beautiful clean room .

My husband uses a mobility scooter and accessibility to the room was slightly difficult. The lift was a tight fit as was the corridor to the room. We also had difficulties with the key which allowed access to the annex and room but not to the hotel. On the positive side the staff tried to resolve the matter ,and the room with a view was far better than than the ground floor room we were expecting.The positives outweighed the negatives.

Fantastic hotel.This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel.The facilities are excellent, food was wonderful and the staff are fabulous...very friendly and attentive.Will definitely be staying again Thanks for a lovely weekend celebrating my birthday

The restaurant was amazing, beautiful food at dinner and breakfast. Enjoyed the pool area and the outside area looked lovely. The extra large bed was very comfortable.

We had a room in the Annex, we knew that from the booking, however at check in we were not told it was an accessible room, on hindsight I would have asked for an alternative. The bathroom sink was really low and not so easy to use, the toilet high and the mirror was not over the sink for shaving. however this did not ruin the stay, we got used to it

Hotels location. Room upgrade,breakfast( apart from bacon) was lovely.

Gave us no notice prior of the leisure and spa closing for filming, had spa treatment booked and was then going to chill after but wasnt able too. Surely you would known before the day, very inconvienient. Plastic cups in rooms ,horrid cheap nasty things and surely with all the talk about getting rid of plastics you should set example. Only 1 teabag in room,also crappy wooden stirrers instead of a proper teaspoon is very poor for a 4 star hotel. Bacon on breakfast nowhere near as good as last time we stayed, precooked and like leather.

Room was clean, well furnished, and spacious. We got a partial view of the sea, which was pleasant. The breakfast was very good, though two very common breakfast items were missing: mushrooms and beans.

The range of available dishes for an evening meal seemed rather limited. The range of drinks available from the bar was also limited. I prefer beer, yet the choice here was limited to just a handful of the regular well known beers that you can get anywhere, which isn't really good enough.

The hotel looked really nice when I first arrived. The decor was excellent..All the staff were very friendly, approachable and couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely stay at the Grand again. The hotel was also in a very convenient place for the beach and shops nearby. Meals at the hotel were excellent.

The problem I had was the height of the bed. It was very comfortable but I had great difficulty with climbing in. I am 5ft 4ins tall and 75 years old. I really needed a step to help me.

It was immaculate, lovely decor, staff very friendly good location, spa excellent and had a very good massage, food and service in hotel was excellent, we stayed in the annex but it was no problem walking to hotel for the amenities someone recommended it to me and I will be doing the same couldn’t fault it would definitely go again

Nothing there wasn’t anything in my opinion to dislike
