This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel. The location is fantastic being close enough to the centre but far away enough to be peaceful at night. The staff as always were wonderful and looked after us amazingly well. Our room was furnished to high standard and had everything we needed. In the evening it was lovely just to sit peacefully in the jacuzzi area and lap up the sun in great surroundings and use the Sauna in the spa area. Transportation to and from station is provided free of charge and was punctual and without fault. The breakfast which was included was great as well and sitting on our balcony drinking our morning coffee with great views of the Matterhorn just amazing.

My stay at 22 Summits Boutique Hotel was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The hotel perfectly blends modern alpine style with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Every detail from the tasteful décor to the high-quality finishes reflects thoughtful design and true hospitality. The staff were wonderful: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They made me feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to ensure my stay was memorable. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully appointed, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The amenities were top-notch, and the peaceful environment made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Breakfast was another highlight fresh, delicious, and featuring a great variety of local products, all enjoyed in a charming dining area with panoramic views. In short, 22 Summits Boutique Hotel delivers everything you could wish for in a mountain getaway: style, comfort, exceptional service, and an unbeatable location. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Room was a good size, clean (with large shower and comfortable beds) with a generous balcony. Some rooms have a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn. Towards the end of village but very close to cable car to Glacier Paradise and only 10 min easy walk to centre of town. Free shuttle to/from train station. Friendly staff. Sauna and plunge pool with indoor and outdoor space to relax. Great buffet breakfast with hot and cold items, including fresh bread and homemade birchen muesli.

I like everything about this property and would like to come back. As part of their service, they provide complimentary pick up and drop off to the hotel. We were ahead of our check in time, but our room luckily is and decorated for our honeymoon. The room is modernly decorated and comfortable with well-stocked amenities. We can see Matterhorn from our bedroom in sunny days. They have few different sauna with traditional herbs which smells amazing. Its a family owned hotel and their hospitality is the most caring and genuine from our hotel stays during our honeymoon. The lady at reception gave us advice which website to check for the weather and webcam and provide us recommendation for the hiking spots and local delicacies. Breakfast has the hot and cold options with beautiful selections of local cheese. We will come back 😊

I think the light are set to relax in the bedroom hence can feel dark

The location of this hotel is incredible. We had a stunning view of the Matterhorn right from our room. Rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable. There was no cleaning or perfume smells, which was great (my wife is sensitive to this as she gets migraines). The hotel is close to the main town, however, they will pick you up and drop you off at the train station so you don’t have to bring your luggage around town. Loved the spa area, we went every night of our 3 night stay.

We loved everything. We wished that the spa was open longer hours so we could enjoy it more.

The 22 Summits was an exceptional place to stay! The rooms were both cozy and large. Everything about them was first class. The people working in the hotel were outstanding. They were great for getting advice on everything from some local hiking trials to cold meds (my spouse caught a head cold on the way to Zermatt). We took full advantage of the spa facilities, which were rejuvenating and also the "pop-up restaurant" with Alain, which was an incredible delight. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was even better than expected with lots of tasty options with a focus on fresh, organic ingredients.

It's farther into town so that can be a longer walk, but it is also quiet as a result - so the disadvantage is an advantage at night and in the morning, when it was very peaceful.

Beautiful small hotel with friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Although it is pricey everything is well maintained and we feel it is value for money. Walking around is easy. Hotel free shuttle was a plus during departure. From the train station to the hotel by taxi is 30.00 CHF. You could walk easily if you do not have luggage. Many places around for dining.

The people who work the hotel. The first experience are the people who greeted us with enthusiasm, professionalism and an authentic desire to help and support us having the best time ever. The location. It is easy to navigate to the Matterhorn Express right across the river and it is right on the way to some gentle walking paths around Zermatt. Oh, my gosh! The spa experience. I had one of my best massages in my life (40+ years of getting massages) here with Irene. My back was out due to hauling and fitting luggage onto trains. Irene got to the point and suggested going to the sauna after resting and drinking lots of water. It worked. I have continued my journey in Europe and am feeling strong.

Loved the entire property. Room and bathroom were well done, good quality, good soundproofing and very comfortable. We enjoyed each breakfast and every afternoon after our hikes we enjoyed our time on the balcony as we had a good view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is located nicely out of “town” near the Matterhorn Express and a few trail entrances. A really nice 10min stroll to the Sunnegga Furnicular and Gronergrat Bahn as well. Bonus - The hotel is right by the river and you get a really good view of the Matterhorn right outside the hotel.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The decoration was very modern and cosy. We really loved our room and enjoyed our stays at 22. The jacuzzi was a bit small but there were many sauna rooms so you could have nice relaxing moments after a full-day long walk. The breakfast was also good and decent. The staff were very friendly and responsive to message, helping us to travel between the station and hotel upon our arrival and depaturem. Also, the hotel was close to the gondola to Glacier Paradice - only 5 mins walk - so convenient. We definitely recommend 22 and will stay here again upon next visit.
