Excellent location for everything. . Single sea view room with a balcony. Room rather bijou and compact but the spacious balcony was worth it. Beautifully clean. Staff lovely and seem happy and working so hard. Breakfast choice lovely. Lift a bonus. Lovely new shower facilities but quite tight if you are a bigger size. Shower/body wash and liquid soap provided. Refreshments in room replenished daily. Very accommodating in resurant and breakfast very efficient. We would return. Secure key pads to permit access late night or early morning's. Super sea views /people watch. Additional heaters and blankets available in the room.

Limited hotel parking x3 spaces. Pay to park opposite was useful. Pity hotel residents can't get a discount. Limited on street parking. Additional expense to vacation. Fixed shower head in ensuite shower unable to adjust.. Don't always want to wash hair daily.. Dated wardrobe and drawers wonky, walls to French windows are grubby. French door squeaks when being opened. Noisy for next door neighbours. Room fans would be a bonus in hot weather.

Perfect location, beach across the road and town centre a few minutes walk friendly staff. very helpful Comfortable clean room , bar , restaurant. Decor nice throughout . Good choice of breakfast menu , and the ability to choose which items . Dinner menu is good value and choice , can be booked on site .

Car parking across the road £15 / 24 hrs , bare that in mind if staying for a week, the car park operator was very helpful and reserved a space as it soon fills up . The room we had , did not have a plug socket near a mirror to dry hair, not a major issue , just more thought into the layout . If you have mobility issues request ground floor, although there is a lift , there are steps either way when exiting lift

The room was very clean and had everything I needed - it was nice to sit outside on the balcony in the evening with a glass of wine and ‘people watch’. The breakfast was first class, in fact I would say it was one of the nicest cooked breakfasts I have had, there was plenty of choice and the waiters/waitresses were very helpful and pleasant - it was my first trip on my own since my husband died and I was very apprehensive but all the staff made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I will definitely return.

The only thing I needed was a mirror near a power point so I could see to blow dry my hair- just a minor thing but not too hard to remedy.

Lovely situation, right opposite a lovely section of beach and close to restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly, especially front desk, cleaners, and young lad at breakfast. Lots to choose from at breakfast, on the buffet and on the cooked options. Room was freshly decorated and extremely clean. The sea facing balcony was perfect. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Someone helped us get our bags from the room downstairs when we left so I could help my companion. Lovely seeing so many people swimming, jogging and cycling along the promenade/from our balcony. Fabulous evening meal at Myca's fish restaurant 'in town', and at The Marine pub just along from the hotel. We had a blue badge so could park easily on the double yellows for a short time or the disabled parking spots around town.

Unfortunately the lift was playing up which was a bit tricky as one member of our party was reliant on it. The staff tried their best but it meant them running up and down the stairs frequently. It was fixed the next day so very quickly but that's the reason for 9 instead of 10 on the facilities. My scrambled egg and smoked salmon seemed to have sat around for too long before being brought out. Room was quite hot and we kept the patio doors open at night - but the bonus was we got to hear the waves lapping which was fabulous. Would have been handy to have little reading lights, the above bed lights were very bright if one of you wants to sleep.

Beautiful family run hotel situated right on the seafront. I stayed in a room with a balcony and sea view, it was large, windows on two sides, airy and decorated to a high standard. A lovely addition of a bathrobe on the bed, toiletries to use, a large walk in shower with rainfall shower head. The bed was comfy, lots of towels and tea/coffee facilities. All who work there are very welcoming, friendly and polite. There is an abundance of choice for breakfast from juices, cereals, pastries to cooked food, all well presented and tasty. The lunch time menu has lots to offer along with an evening menu too.

Nothing, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will come back.

It all went well. the Staff are lovely and all so helpful. Food is lovely. Room is lovely and our balcony was amazing. We had the door open all night and could seen the moon on the water. One night it was the most amazing strawberry moon. We just lay in bed and enjoyed the view.

I needed to get my mobility rollator in and out and it would have been easier if both the double doors were left open instead of just one. But any staff nearby immediately helped me if they say me struggling. The hotel is listed so they cant have ramps put in but it would make a big difference if the entrance double doors were both kept open which widens the doorway.

Very friendly welcome and help with finding a space for the car. Reception was the best I have ever experienced. Above and beyond on arrival and on departure. We ate our meals at the hotel because we found it easy and convenient and they were all very nice. We liked being in a location that was easy to pop back to from the town or the beach and we liked having sea front rooms. The windows and balcony doors kept out the noise of the sea when shut. Surprising how noisy the sea is when the window is open! But that's because it's just across the road. Brilliant. Housekeeping staff were also very helpful.

Superb hotel ,had room 15,stunning view.Amazing professional friendly helpful staff ,reception and restaurant .Debbie, Susan ,and restaurant staff are a credit to your hotel. Was very impressed with slip mat and handrail in shower,so helpful for people with mobility problems cleaning feet ,makes you feel safe. Also the added extras of convector heater, extra blanket and biscuits in room, don't always get these extras in 4 or 5 star hotels. Loved that it welcomed dogs, and that it was just around the corner from Triangle bus stop to Donkey Sanctuary

If being very picky, have a few big colourful pictures in the main restaurant to just enhance its elegance.

We had room 29, 2nd floor corner. Views of the sea from two directions and a balcony - perfect! We took our dog and in the room was a doggy blanket and some treats, a lovely touch. Because we had a dog we could not sit in the main dining room for breakfast, but this was not a problem, as they had a separate area called "the shed" which was comfortable and quiet, the dog even got her own sausage! Excellent choice at buffet breakfast and a veggie breakfast. Could not fault this hotel and will definitely be returning.... As long as I get room 29!!

One evening people were eating fish in the bar area and it stunk!

Whole hotel seems to have been recently refurbished, room nicely decorated, even communal corridor carpets looked nearly new. Nice bar with a proper cask ale [Otter Bitter] - very good. Cooked breakfast was excellent. We upgraded to one of the rooms with sea view and balcony, well worth it if you are lucky with the weather.

No issues with hotel. Parking is in high demand, tip - if staying out of season [up to end of March] there is a council parking scheme at West Ham car park [5m walk] which allows 4 hours parking for £2 - since we were only there one night was able to pay £2 for Sat afternoon, parking free after 6pm, then another £2 for Sun morning from 8 am [using Ringo app]. Considerably cheaper than the private car park opposite hotel.
