Nice complex adjacent to the beach with easy access to local shops and restaurants. Our standard room was more than large enough with a very comfortable bed. The trees are a nice added bonus providing shade and opportunity to watch the birds.

The wet room arrangement means the whole floor and toilet get soaked after each shower. Balcony use is sometimes impacted by smokers in adjacent rooms, complex could be split between smoking and non-smoking balconies.

Great location, very quiet, surrounded by green, private beach and sun beds always available. Stuff is friendly and helpful. There is a motorbike rental services at the hotel which is super convenient. Also perfect mornings with sea view apartments, highly recommend it!

My stay at 4U Resort was absolutely amazing! The staff were lovely, very accommodating to my requests, and I was able to extend my stay twice. The room is spacious, clean and the atmosphere of the hotel is really nice, there’s also lots of green. It’s possible to have breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a massage inside the hotel, so you pretty much don’t have to leave/go anywhere else if you don’t want to. The location could not be more perfect, it’s right on the beach (literally a three minute walk from my room to the beach) and there are sunbeds available for the guests. Lamai beach is really calm, great if you’re looking to rest and relax or if you’re traveling with family and kids. From the hotel, you can walk through the beach all the way to the Lamai Night Market and to go further, you can easily get a taxi from the hotel. I highly recommend 4U Resort and I will surely be back!

Lovely location right on the beach, with free paddle board etc to use, nice restaurant by the pool and lovely massages available. Room was very nice and spacious and staff were very friendly.

Some sunbeds need replacing and aren't very comfortable. It's about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Lamai which we didn't mind too much

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The location is unbeatable—right on the beach—with stunning views and easy access to the sea. The food was excellent, offering a variety of delicious options throughout our stay. The pool was clean and inviting, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds for lounging in the sun. We stayed in a room with a direct beach view, which was incredibly relaxing and made our experience even more special. What truly stood out was the hospitality—the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. This hotel definitely ranks in our top 3 stays in Thailand. Highly recommended!

The only downside is that the rooms could use a bit of refreshing, as some of the interiors feel a little dated. Still, it didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment.

Breathtaking view just in front of the room! The beach is right outside of the room along with the resort's restaurant that has great variety of food and drinks, great staff and comfy sitting but most important- great prices! The room was absolutely beautiful, clean and private- even though it is right where everyone is, Restaurants and pool wise, still privacy can be achieved. The shower is great and fancy as well as the toilet. In the room there were a closet, 2 mirrors, a fridge, king size bed, table and chairs for dining, TV, 2 bedside tables, TV table, sitting couch and so many more useful stuff! Seriously one of the best resort I attended to in Thailand and I definitely recommend it.

A bit far from Lamai Center but it's not bad- just rent a scooter or use Grab app and you can enjoy both the resort's privacy and Lamai Center.

Rooms were basic but clean and set in lovely gardens. We did have some difficulty with WiFi. Nice beachfront restaurant offering a good selection of food. We had breakfast a couple of mornings and one evening meal, which was delicious. Staff were very attentive. Sun loungers were very comfortable. I liked that this hotel offered floats, noodles, kayaks, and snorkelling equipment. It said walking distance into resort town, but we felt this was too far (particularly in April heat)..... a taxi cost 300 tbh and a songthaew taxi truck was 200.. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

Nothing really

Very nice garden, has the beach right in front. Nice ideas with the bungalows, good restaurant and it has also massage services with sea view. The rooms are spacious, with everything you need.

1. A little far away from Lamai center, where the shops and night market are (15 min walking). 2. The doors are not isolated from a noise perspective, you hear everyrhing from one room to another (not for the bungalows, bur for the building with more rooms it is a problem) 3. Perhaps due to the high umidity in the rooms you could smell mold. We asked ar the receptoon to change the room initially alocated to us because of the smell and we received a free upgrade for a room in a bungalow where the smell was less powerful. 4. The water at the shower had very little pressure and one night it did not have pressure at all. 5. It could be more clean. In some spots even in the bathroom dust was very visible on the black spaces.

The restaurant was really nice, we had lunch 3 times and we were happy with what we ordered. Nice view as well from the restaurant on the private beach and the swimming pool just next to the restaurant. You can use different accessories for the beach or swimming pool that it is available such as pool noodles, paddle, etc. The hotel was in a calm area. You can find nearby some other restaurants or shops (7-Eleven, pharmacy). You can also rent motorbikes. The lamai night market was near, around 10 mins by motorbike but you can also book grab bike.

What was a bit bothering is that the cleaning staff was late during the day (3-4pm) as we wanted to rest in the afternoon, but still manageable. Also, some people left their towels on the chair to book it near the swimming pool or on the beach even if they are not around, better to be there early to have a sit and enjoy the view.
