All lovely. Especially the staff. Gabriel at the poolside bar was delightful.

One tiny criticism ( that doesn't only apply to this hotel) is regarding the truly awful pop music we had to endure when trying to relax and read at the pool. This was especially annoying when, on one occasion, we were the only people there. On thos occasion I asked if it was possible to turn it down but it didn't seem to have been lowered at all. It actually put me off sitting by the pool. We chose the hotel specifically because it had a pool but having to listen to non-stop Simple Minds and, at one point 'Barbie Girl' just doesn't equal relaxation for us and, if given the choice, I doubt the other residents would have chosen it either. I'd bet that nobody ever had their day by the pool spoiled by the lack of music, wheres unwanted music is a nuisance.

The location is worth the money: a unique view on the nicest coast of Taormina, in front of “Isola bella”, very close to the access to the best lido’s of Taormina (including restaurants of the highest quality) and the very close to the cable cabin that brings you in 4 minutes to the downtown. The more luxurious hotels of Taormina don’t offer the same combinations of those “plus”.

What a place! Absolutely breathtaking! After spending 2 days in Taormina town, we decided to book Panoramic to get away from the hustle and bustle. The view is outstanding. The pool was perfect! The pool bar service was excellent! (Thanks to Gabrielle) The rooms were so large and the beds were like clouds! The shower was as big as some entire bathrooms! The breakfast view + breakfast options were delicious. Honestly had the most amazing time!

Nothing to do with the property but there aren’t many food options around. So prepare to stick to a handful of pricey restaurants on the water.

Fantastic location offering a lovely al fresco breakfast and relaxing sun terrace with pool away from the hawkers on the beach below . Spotlessly clean and although you do have to pay extra for parking in the hotel garage ( currently 25 Euros per day) , this is an excellent service whereby the hotel staff juggle the vehicles to accommodate your arrival and departure. It was never an issue to bring our car out for us . Staff are professional and polite . The steps up to the old town are just beside the hotel - a 30 minute steep walk up to the centre of the town with many restaurants and shops. There is also a bus stop for the shuttle bus opposite the hotel for the less mobile. Steps down to the beach and Island are opposite the hotel entrance.

Staff were professional but not overly friendly. The sockets by the bed were both broken so it was not possible to charge your phone within reach over night - not a. Issue for us but could be for some! The shower was the bath adapted type and as such was a little temperamental re temperature control.

A lovely hotel in a fantastic location with stunning views overlooking Isola Bella. All the staff are very friendly but a special mention has to be made for Gabrielle who is always friendly and happy and can't do enough for you including his "special surprises" of after lunch drinks and snacks.

The cable car from Mazzaro up to Taormina town was Out of Order while we stayed there. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel. There is a shuttle bus service which runs up to the town with the bus stop only a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

The photos on booking.com don’t do the property justice, they need to update it so it doesn’t look as old. We had a double sea room with balcony & sun chairs.. the room was very spacious Staff were amazing, very accomodating especially by having our car ready to leave at 4am. Gabrielle at the pool had great customer service. Location was perfect , 300m walk to cable cart to town. Buffet breakfast had a great variety.

Only one minor issue were the pillows. The 4 pillows on the bed were all soft. Maybe need to have a soft set and a medium/hard set so people could decide which ones to use.

This is our 3rd visit to the Panoramic and it was as wonderful as always! The staff are fabulous, so friendly,relaxed and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are spotless with comfortable beds and a balcony with uninterrupted views of the beautiful Isola Bella. The breakfast is so good, a huge varied buffet of hot and cold food with regional specialities that change daily. The pool has plenty of loungers and a bar. The pool staff ensure that you have a relaxed time here.

The rooms were enormous. The views were spectacular. The staff was unbelievably attentive. We had the best experience at this hotel. Highly recommend.

Leaving.

The views are amazing, the hotel is surrounded by fabulous restaurants, we had some amazing meals, Gabrielle at the pool bar was great and so attentive always checking if we wanted anything and giving us little treats each day. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We would have liked the bar to stay open a little later than 10pm as we loved having a drink on the 4th floor with the lovely views , we felt the price of breakfast was too high per person, while there is lots on offer there is only so much we would eat

View is stunning looking straight out over Isola Bella and the beach (pebbly). Gabriel who managed the pool bar and cafe was excellent - super attentive, polite, knowledgeable and always went above and beyond. Although the hotel decor is possibly a little dated it does not appear tired and bathrooms etc are very good quality. Extremely comfortable beds. Breakfast was good. The street below the hotel is a bit noisy but with air con in the rooms you don't hear anything and the view is so amazing you really don't care. All staff were very friendly and service was excellent. You can get the cable car up to the old town of Taormina and wander the beautiful cobbled streets, eats hop, drink and the Amphitheatre is incredible. Highly recommend and not as busy as expected but perhaps that's October!

It was brilliant to have parking onsite because it's a town set on a hill with a lot of narrow roads and very little parking. I am sure 25 Euros a day is probably good value but it felt like a lot. It's small though so we were lucky and appreciative to get a spot. There is a public car park down the road which would have cost a lot more so I probably shouldn't complain! The cable car is super convenient for getting up to town but be prepared - it's 10 Euros return per person. The alternative is about 30-40 minutes up or down steps which is a lovely route but perhaps not in high summer or with small children.
