The rooms were very clean and well set out for families. The communal kitchen area was centrally located within the motel and had everything need for a home cooked meal. Equipment included microwaves, ovens, hotplates, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, baking dishes and other utensils required for cooking. The motel was situated walking distance to town (you could cut through the park to reach town). There was a trampoline in the back area for the kids to burn off some energy after a long drive. We also used the communal laundry which took coins only, big machines to fit plenty in. Overall a great stay and experience; Thank you!

The place is clean and comfortable. The bedsheets used are of good quality. We had a good night sleep. The fact that the carpark lot is just next to the apartment makes it very easy for self-driving travellers like us to offload our luggage. The counter staff, Sapphire, was very helpful when we checked in. And we directed to drive to a little-known place for stargazing and watch the southern lights!

The only minus point about the property is that it outside and not within walking distance to the city centre. There is also no eatery nearby and we had to drive into the town for food. It is not suitable for travellers without a car.

Comfortable and well sized for a family of 4. Kids enjoyed the single bed each after having to share in previous places. Clean rooms, shower was comfortable and as expected. Sofa was a pleasure to sit on and heating was appreciated. 2 entry doors made early morning walk easier without waking up kids.

Toilet seat fell off but easy to reattach. Remote control for television had dead batteries and after hours check in didn’t allow for replacement meaning no movie night 😔 Some more walking paths rather than gravel would be nice.

The apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable stay—spacious rooms, cozy furniture, and modern amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bathroom was spotless. The location was also fantastic—quiet, yet conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in, which made the whole process smooth and hassle-free. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location is within easy walking distance to town.

The communal kitchen was very cold in the morning. Despite the signage telling users to shut the doors, I found the door open twice at 6am with an outside temperature of minus 1 Celsius. I can only assume this was done by the previous user to expel their cooking smells. Maybe the installation of an extractor fan could help with this.

The property was extremely comfortable and had everything that was needed. The water pressure was good and was hot and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were lovely. Ample parking. The location was great with 2 min walk to town or to the lake. The apartment was spacious and liked the balcony. The apartment was warm and easy to control temperature which was important in winter. Nothing major except the shower did make the toilet floor wet so a mop would have been helpful. Just a personal preference I would have preferred better quality cutlery but having everything provided and a kitchenette was excellent and would definitely stay again.

My partner and I arrived late in the evening and the check in process was still so smooth. The beds were very comfortable (it has the option of being heated too), the couch and the TV were appreciated, and the heating was exceptional especially in the cold weather. We had a little kitchenette with a microwave and pyrex bowls for microwaving that we didn't really compromise on our meals. Location wise, it's a really good distance from all local amenities and our host gave us so much information regarding where to go around the area. Definitely staying here again when we come back!

Room was clean. Facilities were in good working order. Check in after hours was clearly communicated, which was lovely. Located close to the town center (walking distance). Lots of info on what to do around Te Anau and surrounds.

It would have been great to have coffee and milk replenished. We were informed that they give complimentary milk only on arrival but you only find that out when you get there and the milk is very little (250ml) for 3 people.

The perfect midway stop off location when heading to Milford Sound. The room had everything. It was well priced, clean, cosy, the bed was super comfortable with amazing pillows, and a hot water pressure shower hit the spot. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay there again.

I accidentally left my PC Pen. The staff contacted me right away and are working out a way to post it to my address in Australia. The room was perfect for all of our needs.
