Nice view in front of the lake. We were upstair so it was nice to see sunshine and sunset. A comfotable bed and sofa. A full cooking facility and whiteware. Bathroom had a shower, bath tub with TV and heated floor. I liked a small compost bin to separate the wet and dry rubbish. Fire light maked the room cozy and warm when you needed it. The room was warm and stable temperature. A comfortable humidity in the room. Toiletries were provided. There were laundry liquids, dishwash liquid and washing machine and dishwasher that were great. There was a hospitality tray including coffee machine and coffee beans.

Large comfortable bed but pillows were a bit soft. If you like soft pillows that were perfect for you. Milk was complimentary only first day, just knew from now. Thanks for the front desk receptionist gave us when we request it. Coffee machine with beans were nice for people who like french coffee beans, dark roasted robusta coffee beans.

- Friendly, helpful reception staff - Super close to town; pubs, bars, restaurants, activities - Very well appointed, spacious clean and would also be cosy in winter - Great view straight out the door, of lake & mountains - Well equipped kitchen, full size fridge, insanely comfortable La-z-boy recliner chairs and good size TV with paid TV all included - Quickest internet of any hotel / motel I stayed at in NZ, I was able to upload GoPro footage while I was there, as an added bonus - Bathroom and toilet renovations had been well done, unsure how recent but it improved the place

Nothing, amazing value for money.

The location is absolutely superb, and so is the reception/hosts. They turned on our heater in anticipation if our arrival. Also helped us sort out why there was no hot water (let it run for a couple minutes!). Microwave was potentially plugged off the wall, not the hosts’ fault, but they were very proactive with it and went to inspect as soon as they were able to. Comfy beds, awesome sized showers. TV was a bit dated but I don’t think you’ll be watching Netflix anyway when you’re in Te Anau - there’s plenty to do!

None, the facility was amazing.

For such humble accommodations, it really packs a punch. Everywhere you look, you start noticing the details. No broken items, no dated furnishings, and everything is exceptionally clean. It was actually a standout for our entire trip. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom is well stocked, and the owner was super helpful with local information about dining and travelling insights. This place is exceptional. The beds were super comfortable, and for how cold it is, the accommodation felt super warm and snug.

View over the lake, size of the unit - enormous!! Super king bed - really comfy. Unit was warm when we arrived, stayed warm and comfortable throughout. The little touches were great - extra towels, water bottles, extra toiletries, ear plugs. Great to have washing machines available free of charge and airing rack in the unit. We loved it and would highly recommend.

Nothing - all great!

Spacious and well appointed 1 bedroom apartment with separate living/kitchen area and fabulous view over Lake TeAnau. This quite an old complex that has been refurbished. Super comfortable King Size bed and all facilities you need. 10 minute flat stroll to town centre.

Old recliner chairs could have been replaced with modern comfy lounge and outdoor furniture could be better. Shower over bath is cramped and leaks water onto vinyl bathroom floor.

Fantastic view of the lake from room and balcony, great place to sit and enjoy a quiet drink at the end of the day. Staff were wonderful and very helpful Lots of things to do and great starting point for hiking and Milford sound tours. Milford Sound is a must whether on a tour or drive yourself. Just the drive from Te Anau is a wonder, a new spectacular view around every turn!

wish we could have stayed more than 2 days

What can we say, this room, the view, the location, and the facilities were great, wonderful, gold..The bathroom was perfect, yes perfect. There was a bath with a TV, the best shower we have ever seen, wish I had one at home. The kitchen area had everything you need to make breakfast, and dinner. They also provide all that you need to clean up and there is a dishwasher. The view of the lake was great and you could sit outside and enjoy the view with a book or wine. Oh, and the blue lights that come on at night so you can see and not wake up your better half.

Just that NZ thing, don't book in before 2 pm, they bite. This was it as for being helpful on all things from towels to info on the area was spot on..

Our unit was comfy, clean and spacious! The view is amazing and it is a short walk to great restaurants, cafes and stores. The owners were very friendly and gave us helpful tips about our plans to Milford Sound. The laundry room was a wonderful surprise and allowed us to refresh our hiking clothes. We really enjoyed our 2 nights here and would not hesitate to stay again! Thank you so much!

Everything was wonderful!

After having a big day at Milford Sound, we were feeling really cold, tired and hungry, and from the moment we arrived here, we felt right at home, our host was really welcoming, she had turned the heaters on for us so it was warm and cosy inside, also and pointed us in the right direction of where to get food for dinner, it was honestly just what we needed after our long and busy day.
