The front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. After a long, sleepless journey from Queenstown to Te Anau on New Year’s Day, we arrived much earlier than expected, completely exhausted. With Queenstown fully booked on New Year's Eve, we had no choice but to sleep in our car, making us even more eager for a proper bed. Though check-in wasn’t until 3 PM, the staff, upon hearing our situation, made it a priority to have our room cleaned as quickly as possible. Incredibly, we were able to check in by 10 AM, an absolute lifesaver. That sleep? Hands down, the best of my life. Thank you!

The hotel’s location is wonderful! Lots of activities nearby. The room has access to the lawn. There is an excellent children's playground within walking distance. The hotel staff is very friendly!

The hotel needs some cosmetic renovations inside and out. But that didn’t stop us from having a good time)

I received a call from staff to advise that due to renovations underway that the room I had reserved would not be available. I was offered an alternative room that was an upgrade which I accepted. The room was really comfortable and away from any noise associated with the renovations. We were extremely happy with this room. The staff were excellent in all aspects of the hotel that we used, reception, bar and dining room, I would definitely stay there again.

The location was great, being just a few minutes to walk into town. It is also opposite Lake Te Anau, which has a lovely walk along the lakefront. The hotel is spacious and our room was a good size with a lovely view of the lake. All the staff we met, were very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom is a bit on the small side but did have a bath. There was at least lots of space to put your toiletries. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly. On our third and last morning, we were very disappointed to find that we couldn't have a buffet breakfast because there weren't any tour groups in and it wasn't worth putting out a lot of food for the other guests. We had a choice from a set menu, so we didn't go hungry!

The location is great, right at the lake and walking distance to anywhere. It is a big hotel and offers family rooms which for us was great - 2 bedroom villa for a family. The villa was spacious and very clean, it had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy. They have an outdoor pool which is heated to 25 degrees I believe and a sauna inside which needs booking. There is a nice restaurant inside the hotel which looks out to the lake and serves very nice food.

The hotel is a little dated, nothing for me to complain about and I expected it. However just important to consider that this is not a newly build and latest standard hotel. It is still very nice and I think the space and not every room being right next to every room is really nice.

Our family of four has booked two garden rooms for three nights. Thank you Sandy has upgraded us to a two bedrooms villa with a King bed room and a twin beds room, and a queen villa. The room was spacious with a living room with all the essentials. Very comfortable clean bed, clean bathroom with toiletries supplies. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. The entire team was friendly and helpful. Lots of parking

Superb location, right opp the Lake. Each room has 2 double bed. Supermarket is 5 mins walk, Real NZ tour depart is 5 mins walk.

Only cereals & toast for pure veg people. Even grilled tomatoes and hash brown are not veg and contain egg as informed by chef. Restaurant staff is very laid back and unaware of even the buffet menu.

Excellent location. Very comfortable 2 bedroom villa. Very pleasant staff. Very nice restaurant and bar part of the complex. Bathroom heating behind the mirror warming the bathroom and keeping the mirror clear.

Very noisy tour groups in the restaurant. Poor signing causing difficulty finding the route from the villa to the restaurant. Worst caesar salad I've ever had.

Staff were very pleasant even though the Hotel was an older style it was very roomy and comfortable, the included breakfast was so fresh and yummy and a large selection. Very close to the town and easy access to grabbing a tour the lake view was suberb.

Very friendly and thoughtful staff. Good location facing the lake (note that the small villas are very nice but do not have a lake view) and spacious accommodation. The breakfast is very varied and hearty. Good restaurant in a glass-walled room with a view of the lake.
