Our stay at this property was absolutely fantastic. We loved our stay there! Our apartment gave us lovely unobstructed views of the lake. It was a short walk into the centre. The property itself was very comfortable and spacious and tastefully decorated. It was well set out with the lounge leading onto a balcony , a well equipped kitchen including a dishwasher . The bathroom was also spacious with plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable and there was a selection of pillows to meet individual needs. We were pleased about the guest laundry with a complementary use of the washing machine including washing powder. What made the stay even better was the kindness and helpfulness of the Manager Kerry! She never tired of our questions and pointed out some activities and booked them for us and she recommended cafes and restaurants. She even gave us some insect spray for sandflies that we may have encountered! We felt very cared for !

There is nothing we did not like! People might like to be aware, however, that there is no lift to first floor apartments. So suitcases would have to be carried upstairs.

The facilities, location, cleanliness were all fabulous but what really stood out was Kerri and her hospitality. She expressed genuine care for us and the success of our trip. Not only did she get us scheduled on the best local day trips to optimize our short stay, she but she also ensured that we were being charged reasonably and even provided warm outer wear for us to wear during an unseasonably cold spring week. I’ve never experienced such a caring host at any accommodation / hotel, and she was the reason we were able to make the most of our trip and our excursions. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Radfords with Kerri!

The location right at the lake was beautiful and peaceful, and walking to and from the town center along the lake was always nice and relaxing. Our apartment on the upper floor had an unobstructed view of the lake. We liked the spacious living room and small kitchen area. The bathroom was functional, but did not feel as luxurious as the rest of the unit. The laundry facility was excellent; very fast washer and dryer. Spacious parking.

Very minor issue: The bedroom was a bit tight, but on the other hand had good storage space.

Well it was raining when we were there so views were limited. Loved the location as is close to all amenities like restaurants . Staff was super friendly and professional and super helpful with directions. The lake is right there with some good walks in either direction.

Not really a negative but the t.v entertainment was a little lacking. Sky movies or access to Netflix would be good. DVD player is a bit Dated for what is out there on the market. Even just a smart t.v so you can Mirror from your phone or tablet would be an improvement.

The lady at reception was great. She provided great restaurant recommendations (based on my dietary requirements). She was extremely helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The view from the room was great. Free onsite parking.

It wasn't an issue, but just odd. I stayed for two nights. I was told that the room would not be fully serviced (only towel change, the bed was not made) after the first night because the cleaner was sick. I can accept that; however, if I only stayed for one night, I assume they would have to find a backup plan for the sick staff member. I assume it is just a way to reduce labour cost/effort.

Great location easy walk along the lake to cafes and shops. Extremely comfortable beds and quiet rooms with good blackout curtains. Staff cheerful and helpful. Only a 2 to 3 hour drive to Milford Sound

Although the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed the actual bench space available was more a kitchenette. Extremely minor issue and only putting this here should any families want to self cater for all meals. Most people on holidays just do the easy walk to town to eat out.

The location was great. We stayed in unit 6 Very comfortable beds. One bathroom for five of us, but it had a nice big shower/tub with great water, pressure and a water heater that gave all five of us warm/hot showers. Kerri what is great and made sure that we had great places to eat. The Sandfly Café and Lakefront for breakfast and The Ranch for dinner.

Very small refrigerator and even smaller freezer. Having said that, the kitchenette was efficient and even had a dishwasher (which we didn’t use)

Host and owner Kerri was very welcoming and helpful in planning our stay in Te Anau. She made Doubtful Sound cruises reservations for us, pointed out great sites and hikes on the way to Milford Sound, and recommended great restaurants. Rooms very clean and are well appointed for road trip travelers including a laundry for guests to use to freshen things up. Location was convenient to walk to town center to groceries, restaurants and shopping.

Lack of privacy. All rooms has big living room windows facing either the parking or the street. Every time people come by they can see you in the room Also very thin walls, while staying in the room i could hear the next room guests talking and they were not talking loud.
