The beds were very comfortable, and the living room had a cozy, welcoming feel, perfect for relaxing as a family. There was also a small backyard area with a table, which was a lovely spot for us to sit and enjoy meals together. The property offered nice, dedicated car parking, which made things convenient for us. Additionally, the shower area was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of our stay.

When we first entered the accommodation, we noticed a piece of chocolate on the floor in one of the bedrooms, which gave the impression that the apartment had not been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The rooms felt somewhat outdated, and the layout of the bathroom wasn’t ideal, the toilet was separated from the shower, which made things a bit inconvenient. Additionally, there was a recurring unpleasant odor every time the toilet was flushed. When housekeeping came the next day, they did not address these issues. The piece of chocolate remained on the floor and they didnt clean the crumbs we left near the dining table. It seemed that the only task they completed was making the bed, which was disappointing.

It was a return visit for us. The unit is comfortable, clean and in a good location for easy access to shops , lake and other recreational areas.

Unfortunately our arrival welcome was not as pleasant as it had been several days earlier.....such a lovely receptionist....friendly, and very helpful...that was why we booked a return visit. There had been a booking clerical error. We were greeted very formally by a different person with a request to pay...advised that our card had been declined. It was up to me to prove we had paid and that it was their error! Quite unpleasant. However they processed a refund so now no biggie. We have traveled a great deal and how we are welcomed is a significant factor in how we feel about our stay.

Firstly the staff were wonderful the room was clean, charming & comfortable & the location is handy close to everything & this place has great potential tobe something special if renovated.

The room wasn't as nice as in the photos & was not the room I thought I had booked, I booked this room based on the photos but that's minor, It was more dated than expected, although the furnishings were newish. I didn't like that we had to pay to use the washing machine & dryer & that the dryer time is set short, so you would have to pay for another cycle to get your clothes dry. I just want to state that this option only comes after our stay at a different Asure motel, were the laundry facilities were free & it was less dated & I probably expecting it to be at the same standard, which did not match up in this case. In say all this it was still a nice comfortable place to stay.

The staff were very helpful. We were hiking a couple of the great walks and had gear delivered. The staff put it in our room when it arrived, which was very nice of them. They also kept our luggage while we were on the hike. The room is a nice large size. There was a pay washing machine available in the motel. It was close to walk to the CBD for meals, shopping, groceries. There was a well set up kitchen in the room.

We were on the main floor and could hear the guests above us using the toilet. Also the carpet could use a good cleaning.

We loved our stay, the room was very spacious, the kitchen well equipped and the shower is great! Everything was perfectly clean and the garden is beautiful. Easy communication, they replied my messages on Booking.com in a timely manner, and were so nice to attend my request to provide a baby's high chair, as we have a little one travelling with us, which put our mind at ease that he would have a proper and safe place to eat. We really appreciate that! Easy check-in and check-out, close to the lake and just a stroll to the eateries. I'd definitely recommend it to all my friends going to Te Anau 😍

Great comfortable super clean and tidy motel , 5 minute walk to lake. Big room, plenty of space for me and my 13 year old with a lounge area. Very warm and cozy, heater was on when we arrived. Electric blankets appreciated for cold Te Anau nights!Parking at the door. Lovely shower pressure! Nice little kitchen area. We took a bus tour to Milford Sound from there. Staff nice and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Wifi a bit patchy, not a big deal. Everything else fab.

Room had everything you need! Staff were very friendly and accomodating - especially when I arrived early and wanted to store my bags. Location is great and a quick walk to the main streets and lake front. Very clean and put together too.

If I haaad to say something, maybe the shower gives slightly hospital room vibes. But honestly, I don't mind that, it was fine, just something I wasn't expecting. Despite this, the shower was amazing and the water pressure/temp was soooo good!

The room was bigger than expected with a sitting area with TV and table. It looks like the bathroom and rooms have been renovated recently. We visited in winter so the multiple heaters, including one in the bathroom were great, plus the electric blanket. Staff went the extra mile and helped us with organising lunch packs for our trip to Milford Sound and giving us advice about how to get there. Little extra touches were everywhere and made our stay exceptional.

The place was clean, organised, relatively modern compared to other motels I’ve been to. You can tell they have a good team working there who genuinely want to provide a decent place to stay. I booked it due to the cleanliness rating and I wasn’t disappointed. The heated beds were also a great addition, plenty of towels etc, 2 per person of towels and face washers, milk and a kitchenette with everything you need to make yourself dinner, more than just a kettle, toaster and microwave.

Nothing comes to mind, for what we paid I believe we had such a great time.

Staff was very helpful, gave us good tips for traveling in the area (to Milford Sound). Room is spacious, the ktichen well stocked; the stove top is a portable one but very effective. However there is no dishwasher. The windows open nicely front and back, therefore nice fresh air! There is a BBQ in the garden which we used very effectively. We stayed here 3 nights to explore the area. The glowworm cave (RealNZ) is a better experience than Waitomo caves in the (North Island). The guides are all young, energetic, and the price includes a ride on a boat across the lake (takes 25 minutes), and a presentation (with video) about the details of the physiology of the glow worms. A drive to Milford Sound takes about 2 hours of pure drive time, so if you include stop over for some nice sights, e.g. Mirror lake, budget 3 hours to arrive in time for a booking of a cruise.

Everything was good, no complaints really.
