At night we walked outside wanted to fish but it was incredibly loud due to someone was playing loud music this was after 9. Then walking back to our room tons of roaches outside. None inside!! I think I stayed in room 202 and by the sink on ceiling cob web n 1 dead bug.

Cute place, well cared for. Little beach, boat docks, soft sand, grills, bikes, clean pool. We had a bungalow which had plenty of room. The only down side was highway noise at night and no blackout curtains, but not too bad. Overall it was an excellent value.

Need some blackout blinds or curtains, it might also help with traffic noise. But overall it was great.

The room was newly updated and the staff was excellent. We are becoming regulars as we visit the keys twice a year. This is our place where we feel comfortable and still affordable. Boat slip is mandatory for us so we are thankful they have the marina. The bed was perfectly firm. We truly love this resort.

Truly the only thing is outside of our room the first two nights it rained and the gutter pipe has an obnoxious plastic tip what is extremely loud. Because the bed is right next to the window adjacent it was enough i had to stuff a towel in it at 230 am to be able to get any sleep. $20 fix using a curved metal end cap or a slight adjustment of the vertical pipe would stop that issue. It's the most minor thing, but it made the first night miserable.

We entered room/ apartment and looked around and immediately booked another night and fortunately an extra night was available.Beyond immaculate and fully equipped kitchen and extremely comfortable beds! Pool great and beach was awesome although we could not swim there! Perfect for boaters as marina is right there as well as a place to book water activities! Walkable restaurants as well! Highly recommend seafood buffet at Chesapeake resort.Excellent! Breakfast was coffee/ tea served 6-10 with breakfast bars but with the kitchen we did our own thing!! Fantastic resort and plan to return!!Staff was exceptional as well!!!

Ice; complimentary ice is typically a staple for hotel stays. They do have small bags for sale at $5 a pop. Considering what we paid, that was an unacceptable inconvenience. I wish I had known we would have prepared better. Small bathroom; I don't mind small bathrooms but I couldn't even sit on the toilet straight without my knees touching the well (I am only 5'5") and the shower is SO tiny which wouldn't be an issue but since there is no water pressure I had to spend way too much time in there trying to rinse my hair efficiently. Hint- there is a ridiculously large walk-in closet with no real purpose...remodel and make a bigger bathroom. :) Porch Light; way too bright I wish you could've dimmed it or at least put black out curtains in the window right next to it.

Pretty property, boats, beach, sunrise and screened balcony. Nice place to bring family and enjoy the grounds. Not a good value for 1 night 6pm to 6am stay. Good wifi. Big 5 ft tall refrigerator freezer. Shower with hand rail.

The little things. No cups in room.. Only Sheer Curtains on windows. At night the light comes pouring in. Must be dressed to leave bathroom. You can see into the room at night. Not wherlchair friendly. Grass between concrete slabs makes a bump smooth bump. Looks great. Close to highway. Road noise constant. 10-6 bumper to bumper lucky to find breaks in traffic. Staff has matter of fact manner. Polite and with curtesy not empathetic. Learned all properties every time MUST BE contacted to ensure special request. ADA not available when booking online are available. I need First floor or elevator, bathroom handrail. I did not specify first floor only. Got stuck on 2nd floor, steep stairs. They were fully booked. Could have been worked out with advance notice.

We stayed in a Motel Room above Reception for one night and we kinda loved it! Does exactly what it says on the tin. The property has obviously been updated fairly recently and we were quite impressed to find our room looking very much like the photos online. Coffee in the reception area and the range of goods including laundry detergent was welcome. The private beach and marina were also lovely, we spent a good hour just watching the pelicans dive for their dinner. It was mesmerising. The staff were super lovely and parking was readily available on site. Depending on what type of room you had depends on how much road noise you will get. We were only there for one night so weren’t bothered by the traffic, if staying for longer would recommend ensuring you are staying further toward the water in of the apartments or bungalows.

Fantastic location on the waterfront and marina. Within walking distance of Bud & Mary’s marina and a couple of restaurants and bars. Nice beach area with loungers and pool. Room was lovely, very clean and with comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room was at the front near the road so there was traffic noise. There was also a neon sign right outside our window which lit up our room at night making it difficult to sleep. Would recommend booking a room away from the road.

We had a great time and will definitely stay again. The room was large and clean and the AC worked really well which was a plus this time of the year. All of the staff interaction was pleasant and even made some new friends with other guests at the pool.

No complaints from us. It is not the Waldorf Astoria by any means but is a great location on Islamorada and a great value place to stay. Will return with friends and a boat next time for easy ocean access.

Only really a stopover rather than a stay, but the staff were friendly and efficient. Room was large and tidy, it seemed quite ently decorated. Compact bathroom, with a very good shower. Really nice pool area and an outdoor area next to a quay. No real beach, but pleasant. Short drive to good restaurants.

Quite expensive, especially out of season and with no breakfast offered, but that is probably the area. Coffee available, but no drinks making facilites in the room. Our room was connected to another and the guest next door was noisy and had the TV on all night. Strange red light right outside the window.
