If you read the reviews, you will be confused about what to expect from this hotel. Some guests criticize the hotel and call it old, tired and inconvenient. Others are delighted with it. The truth, in my opinion, is that you get what you pay for in a clear proportion of price to quality. This is certainly an old hotel, tired of guests and has not seen a major overhaul for a long time. Nevertheless, I gave it an "8" rating and I am ready to explain why. First of all, if you are looking for budget accommodation in a quiet area near the beach and restaurants - you will not find anything cheaper. The bus from the airport stops 300 meters from the hotel and this is very convenient. Despite the tiredness, the hotel is perfectly clean, has fast Internet, and a surprisingly decent breakfast.

excellent hotel! Exceptionally clean! The rooms are spacious and fully equipped with smart tv, fridge, and bed is super comfortable! Everything works perfectly in this hotel! the staff are kind and friendly and the environment is laid back and relaxed. Great value and the hotel is just minutes walking to the sea and boardwalk strip. There is a pool and small exercise room as well! Bus stop just outside can take you to the airport or towards the city. i highly recommend this hotel you won't be disappointed!

great for solo travelers or families! The staff is very helpful and eager to help you. Very clean! Easy check in! Plenty of space in common areas and the rooms are big with a balcony. This hotel is excellent! I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to this city. stay here you will not regret it!

Breakfast had a good variety and was fresh and tasty. The pools is very large and clean, especially for the size of the hotel. The local cats are great and adorable. AC was a really new and good quality unit in the room. As was the fridge that worked very well.

Some more space for clothes and hangers in the room and a lock for the room safe. Perhaps we just needed to ask Reception for the safe key.

Friendly helpful staff. Air conditioning. Clean. Good breakfast.

Only 1 electrical socket in the Retro room and it's not near the bed (for recharging phone) Sometimes need to refill breakfast foods faster. Especially if you go late.

an old school relaxed hotel, that kinda has its glory days behind it, which allows it to be an unforced, sweet and - unlike the rbnb experience or a more fancy hotel - a human friendly, people noticing-and-embracing place. i loved the unconstrained vibe of it:) —> and! the cat queendom in the neighbourhood! epic)) 😻

the toilet flush was making amazing and quite loud noise. and then again: it’s an older hotel. like a human, has its broken nooks and crannies. and while i’m sensitive to sound it also gave us a lot of laugh every time we flushed:)

Very good warm breakfast (scrambled, boiled, sunny side up eggs), some veggies, fruits, yogurt and toasts. Nice and helpful reception staff (merged our 2 reservations so we did not have to chnage rooms). Close to the beach, center, some restaurants, and if you dont mind and are travelling light it is 5km walking distance to the airport.

Hotel is older and could get some renovation, it is visible on furniture, beds and bathroom. But considering price still good value for money. Breakfast room has too few tables, so you may end up waiting some time til something gets free, depending when you arrive. 7.30 always full during our stay.

Danny and the other staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast, without in any way being extraordinary, was pretty good, and the place has a decent gym. I could get a glimpse of the sea from my room, and the 15-minute walk along the sea into the city centre was highly agreeable. The AC worked perfectly. This is good value for the money compared to other places in Larnaca. It's a two-star establishment, but a lot closer to three than to one. Still, if you expect a five-star experience you'll obviously be disappointed.

Nothing in particular, except possibly the relative lack of restaurants and cafés in the immediate vicinity (though the city centre really isn't far away). The facilities clearly weren't renovated yesterday, but it didn't really bother me.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location within walking distance of Seafront Walkway and the Airport bus. Breakfast was good. Pool nice bonus. Upgraded room a plus. Enjoyed the balcony. I would recommend, with the advice of bringing your own pool towel as noted below. And I am returning again at the end of my stay.

No pool towels and not allowed to use room towels at the pool??? So, I think it would be very helpful to say bring your own pool towel in advertising, so people know to bring their own towel. No provision of a towel for swimming in the pool, even to rent is unusual to say the least.

You get what you pay for. Hotel when you just wants to use it to sleep. Very good location. 15 mins walk to city center. 5 mins walk to the beach. Very Basic rooms. Nice personnel. Very basic breakfast and the same every day. We took the dinner and it was very nice and very tasty. It is in the other hotel (Best Western Larco) - dinner was the best part of stay in the San Remo. Without the dinner, my rate would be 5-6.

1. Cleaning service during your stay is nearly not existing (cleaning lady just fold sheet without any care and put toilet cleaner to the toilet). We needed to exchange towels on our own from the cleaning trolley 2. Rooms for sure should be refubrished. 3. Very Basic pool. I haven't had enough courage to try. Fance gives very bad impression. 4. Very thin walls. You even hear somebody's snore from other room.
