The location was great easy to get to everything we wanted to do. Trolley stops right out front. Bike path and boardwalk just across the street. The Beach of course the main reason for going. The hotel is renovating their balconies which the hotel sent us notice way in advance of. Our room was on the other side so we weren't affected at all and had a nice covered walk way and area to sit over looking Lake Holly. We asked to extend our stay by a day they were excellent in accommodating this.

Maintenance calls for restroom repair took a long time but was a communication error between shifts. Decor is a bit dated in the studio. Very functional but TV is a 20 inch normally wouldn't care but we had a few heavy rain days.

We have a 5 kids and it is hard to find a place that is comfortable for all of us. We got a suite that had a large bedroom and full bath, a second room with two double beds and full bath and even a half bath in the kitchen area. Both rooms had a small kitchenette and had the right amount of needed utensils and appliances to make our stay comfortable! I loved have a washer and dryer in the room too! The staff was very helpful and friendly! We loved the pools and hot tubs. They were always clean and there comfy seats to sit and relax too. We walked to the beach every day, it was a quick 2 minute walk across the street! I would say that this side of the boardwalk was a little quieter than the other side, but I preferred that. We also took advantage of the amenities at the sister hotel across the street. We enjoyed pickle ball (they had equipment available to borrow), painting mugs and canvases, watching movies, playing video games and the indoor pool on rainy days! Overall, this was a great trip! I would recommend this for families as a great way to stay in Virginia Beach!

They were very upfront about the construction on the balcony. I knew going in that we would not have access, I was worried about active construction, but it was quiet. I am sure when they are done, it will be even more beautiful! I was grateful for them letting us know about the construction, so this isn't really anything that was surprising or a negative.

The staff was amazing! Best experience in all the years we've visited VA Beach! Behind the front desk, Shante, was amazing and extremely helpful. The night staff, Daniel and Archie were also incredible! They really made a huge impact on our stay! Daniel actually talked up the entire hotel and has us wanting to come back for any future stays!!

If I had to choose something, I would only say the balconies being worked on was a downer. The hotel is set up a little strange as far as how you access your room. Other than that, our stay was impeccable!!

Walking to my room alone, at 11:30pm when security was in the main lobby when I checked in. Opened the door to let me out to go to my room and told me he would be around. I had to walk thru a garage that smelled like weed, alone, with luggage and an aircast on my foot. I maneuvered ok, but would have been welcomed to have security at least walk me through the garage to the elevator. Could not get the fireplace to work nor could I access the "source" option on the tvs with the tv remotes. Therefore, I could not access my travel sticks for entertainment. Otherwise, the stay was great.

Love the area. The beds are super comfy. The courtyard is beautiful. It's nice having a full kitchenette.

One of the hot tubs was not working. Parking one night was not available so I had to go to a paid parking garage down the road. EACH ROOM SHOULD HAVE A DESIGNATED PARKING SPOT. I also heard a customer had their luggage taken and when he asked the staff to review camera footage, he was informed that there were no cameras installed. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. YOU MUST HAVE SECURITY CAMERAS IN PLACE!

I liked the room Layout. It was comfortable. Loved having full kitchen. And washer and dryer. Pools and hot tub immaculate. Very close to shopping and area restaurants. Would stay here again.

The kitchen counters were dirty upon arrival As was the microwave. We cleaned them first thing. Our kitchen items were eclectic. Short on silverware but a weird mix of cooking items. The front desk did send up missing items that we needed. Kitchen could be better stocked as far as mixing bowls and pots and pans.

the check out time and the elevator was broken Upon my arrival but was fixed shortly afterwards it was probably due to the cold weather wow on my stay Some water pipes had busted causing the fire alarm to go off for at least an hour which is a little inconvenient but other than that it was OK

This resort was perfect for my kids. The pools and share of resorts were perfect!

There were not many signs leading you to directions of the property, sometimes it felt like a maze. They do not change linens or clean, you must request linens and towels and you’re responsible to take the trash out to the chute. I didn’t like how there was garage parking entrances that anyone had access to. That was a bit uncomfortable as the doors on the side were unlocked.

its close to everything, food , beach, restaurant, live music, bar, beautiful bay sunset. Its calm area, you can ride a trolley go boardwalk or rent a bike for family for a night stroll! i love the place except that i didnt see any housekeeping..which they prewarned us about befoee booking. No towels in the room . But all in all its very laid back, quite and ill go back again this place!

Our room was spacious for our family of 4. We had the suite with the full kitchen and washer and dryer which was very convenient for us. The pools were warm and great for our young children (3 & 4 yr old).

During our stay, balcony renovations were about to take place so they were inaccessible. But we understand the importance of safety, it was just unfortunate timing. Parking in the ground floor garage was also challenging at times due to the number of spots available.
