The location and staff are great, they try hardest to please any wish you have. The food for breakfast was also fine.

The design of some rooms and the fact many things are breaking down, i would suggest some renovation and re-design, for example the room i stayed in was not the initial one that was planned due to shower issue (of course room replacement was given to fit all the wishes and stuff as much as possible) and the other room i stayed had 2 design flaws. First one was lack of hooks for wet jackets (luckily i did not had such jacket) and i would say misplaced hooks for towels in bathroom (some hooks were above the bathtub which and too low for any towel to properly hang and dry. Its minor flaws that can reduce comfort and anyone reading this, your experience may differ from mine.

stayed for 5 (1+2+2) nights on 3 separate trips with gaps of a day or two and just found the hotel to be the best. Great location, friendly staff. A special shoutout to Julie at the reception for giving great recommendations for dining and suggesting the best room when we upgraded to a deluxe room. aster first visit Take a corner deluxe room if possible as that's these are the best, have seen others too and these corner rooms are definitely better

the air conditioning was not able to match the ambient temperature , but they provided a mini table fan to compensate that, you need to ask for that

The staff was wonderful - very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and hung out in the "lobby" for a while, were offered a cup of coffee, and then stored our luggage while we explored the city until 3PM.

Our room was adequate, but on the small side.

Classy hotel, well designed. Location is superb, everything around the corner. Parking in nearby underground public garage. Excellent breakfast. Good beds. Great shower. Very helpfull staff. We asked for quiet room, and they did their best to provide it. It was quiet, rooms have sound proof windows.

Airco is extremely poor, almost nothing. Outside temperatures were little over 20C, inside above 24C. For the first night we were given a fan, but that didn't help. Then we got a room where the window could be opened, that helped, but then it was noisy in the morning....

Small and friendly hotel in good location near airport tram and other transport. Very quiet internally and, from our room at the back, externally. Comfortable bed, smallish room but had all the necessary facilities for a short stay. Breakfast selection exceeded our expectations for the price we paid, and the dining room/bar was cosy and relaxing.

Everything was good for us, however, the lighting levels are quite low and many floors and wallcoverings are dark colours, so you might struggle if you have any visual impairment or just prefer brighter lighting.

Staff was very good. The one elevator was very fast. Good breakfast, coffee and tea available at all times of the day. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, and the rooms had big windows. Rain shower was good in bathroom. Needed to close window on Thursday and Friday nights. They made provision for us to go to their sibling hotel to get an early breakfast when we had to leave early. Hotel had a very good location.

Storage space for toiletries in the bathroom was very limited, which was inconvenient.

Excellent location, extremely comfortable beds, staff generally very helpful and service oriented…

…so I have to assume that the kitchen worker who became aggressive and insulting at our last breakfast when I complained about the tongs used for the smoked salmon (other guests had also found these bent bread tongs impossible to use and gave up; I made the mistake of complaining) was having a particularly bad day. Very dark rooms are probably a blessing on summer nights, but a little annoying in the fall.

Fantastic location, high-quality and varied breakfast, a certain "naughtiness" to the decor (which I liked:), ease of movement within the hotel - the stairs were encouraging to take, staff was very friendly and helpful, housekeeping very accommodating. It also had common spaces that were comfortable and welcoming; I spent some enjoyable time relaxing there.

Not particular to Oleana, but the room was small, as was the closet. Personally I am not a fan of foam mattress toppers as they move (because I do!) but they do make the bed very comfortable.

The location of Oleana was the reason we picked the hotel. It was centrally located just few minutes walk to the starting point for all tours which start early in the mornings. Breakfast was good for a sit in start to the morning with lots of options. We did start off earlier than the breakfast time for our day tours a few days so could only carry a packed breakfast. The rooms were small with no real storage space, apart from that the stay was great and we enjoyed our time at Oleana.

The room size could have been better and with more storage space, it was quite cramped for a family room.

The hotel has a great location, wonderful decor and lots of personality. Breakfast is very good and the staff was extremely pleasant and very well trained.

The windows to the rooms don't open and you have to rely on the AC alone to ventilate the room. This is unpleasant and doesn't make any sense in a low building in a city like Bergen! We came for the fresh air and the quiet surroundings and instead we got no fresh air in the room and the constant noise of the AC in the background. It's ridiculous to be at the 3rd floor in the mountains and unable to let some fresh air in in the morning. We stayed for 3 nights and when we returned home, we felt like our home was quiet and fresh by comparison (PS: we live in a much busier city). Unfortunately, for this reason alone, we will not book again. It's sad, because everything else was pretty damn close to perfect.
