We liked very much how friendly the staff was and how clean everything was. Besides, all the attention from Christos and his tips for kids friendly beaches were really good and helpful. We loved our big balcony and the swimming pool. Also we appreciated that the apartment is very well located close to the wonderful Yannis Beach, mini markets but also Lidl and good restaurants.

Maybe it would be good to have some more kitchen supplies to make it easier to prep a quick meal (specially when having kids). Other than that, no other comment.

A spacious apartment with super outdoor space for dining or shade and fantastic pool area overlooking olive tree grove . Very friendly accommodating hosts who were always willing to assist with requests for taxi bookings etc .

The area is quite hilly with a 20 minute walk to nearest general store . Would recommend hiring a car. Local buses to Chania are good but not for visiting tourist attractions which are further away.

Conveniently sitting in a quiet area adjacent to olive groves yet an easy 8 minute walk from Sandy beaches.. Very clean and modern apartment with everything we needed provided within.. You will need a hire car if you wish to explore a wider area although it is an easy walk to catch a bus into Chania.. There are various Shops and restaurants again within easy walking distance.. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming.. Very nice very clean Swimming Pool.. Lovely sunset views directly from the property.. I highly recommend this place to others travellers..

First of all great host First of all I would like to say that Christos is a Superhost! He made our stay very comfortable - just to mention one thing - during our stay he offered us a swap of the apartment, to a better one with much bigger balcon. Also, the housekeeping staf is 10/10. They all are just a very nice people. The owner offered us a taxi transfer from airport to the apartment for just €40 - at the airport we were welcomed by super friendly taxi driver who came to pick us up in very clean black Mercedes E Class and took us straight to the apartment. On the top of that, area is very quiet and is only 5 min walking away from beach with very warm water (elsewhere water is much colder). Highly recommended, will come back next year! All the best!

We loved our stay at Poseidon Apartments. It was a great value for money. Children loved the pool and we loved our terrace in the shade! Christos and Nico are amazing guests. They helped us to check in earlier, we could use the pool are while we were waiting for our room. They also helped us with all the transport advice (we travelled by coach and bus from airport) and organised our taxi from the property to the airport at the end of our stay). Thank you! You can cook basic food. Property is only 10-15 min walk from ammenities, Lidl and Greek shop full of yummy Greek food and fruit. There are 2 fabulous beaches near by: Yannis beach 8 min walk with amazing views and a lovely cave at the end of the beach. It was almost enclosed and it looked almost like a lagune and therefore water was calm as if you were swimming in the lake. Trees provided much needed shade. There is also a fabulous Golden beach 5 minutes walk from the property with lots of waves and fun for kids. Both beaches are shallow and save 10-30m off shore. You can see plenty wonderful fish while you are swimming under water. We would suggest to go early to the beach for 8-9am in summer for an early morning swim at Yannis beach with lots of shade till lunchtime, water is already 29-30 degrees, then retreat for siesta from the blazing sun and set off for Golden beach at 5pm. Golden beach is lots of fun with bigger waves in the evening. :-) Enjoy!

Very nice owner and personnel, perfect swimming pool and surroundings. 15 min walk to Lidl. 2 sandy beaches about 8 min walk. The apartments are not in the main street, so the place is quiet and you have a lot of privacy. Relaxing view on the olive garden just next to the pool and apartments.

I wish there was more space in the kitchen to prepare food.

We spent two wonderful weeks there. The rooms were clean and cleaned regularly. The pool was very nice, the garden was beautiful and the olive grove was right next door. It's a perfect base for exploring the entire island and for an evening trip to Chania.

We spent 12 days at Poseidon Apartments and had a wonderful holiday. The site is perfectly located, with four magnificent sandy beaches within a short distance. There are many good restaurants within a few hundred metres, but the immediate area is quiet and peaceful. It is less than 4 kilometres from the centre of Chania. We went for a walk there once, but if you don't want to walk, there are city bus stops next to the beaches. The pool is also a big advantage of the property. It is large (in the photos on booking.com it appeared smaller), and most of it is over 1.6 metres deep. The rooms are clean and well-equipped and are cleaned every day or every other day. I saw in an earlier review that someone complained that the flats are located on a hill, and access from the beach is difficult. I understand that for someone with very young children, this may be a problem, but for most, a 10-metre difference in level will not be an issue at all. The owner is very friendly and helpful; he is on the site daily and organised our taxi transfer from and to the airport and some additional excursions (such as a cruise to Balos Beach).

Internet access via wifi was often very slow and sometimes did not work at all, but this did not bother us so much that we did not even report it.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, we asked for a toaster on our first day and within minutes Christos had one for us. The pool was lovely and very clean, the area was perfect for us, nice and quiet and within easy walking distance or bus journey to Chania. Which was fabulous.

The pool is lovely and the location. The rooms are very clean and the staff are lovely. Also the location is very quiet and near to many beaches. Views are gorgeous!

The rooms are basic but I have stayed before and was aware of this. It's great value and I didn't need a cooker or microwave. But this may not suit everyone..
