Our stay was perfect here. Andreas took care of everything we needed. The rooms are fully equipped and clean. Everything you need (shops, bakeries, car rental, etc.) is really close. The area is not crowded and loud like others, it is really calm but beautiful. I recommend for a really chill holiday and for a holiday with activities too as it is really close to everything. I recommend the place for everyone - kids, couples, friend groups. The food and the drinks at the bar is really good. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are super clean and modern. The rooms had AC, so we never felt too hot.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and everything was super clean. The hosts were very friendly and always ready to help or answer any questions. It felt very welcoming. The location is great - just a few minutes from a nice beach, and there are supermarkets close by, which is very convenient. A nice bonus was that the hotel provides free beach towels and sunbeds, which made beach days even easier. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxed place to stay. I’d gladly come back.

Everything was perfect

The complex of apartments was very close to lovely beaches. There were plenty of decent restaurants locally and a good bus service to take you into Chania if desired. There were also three good supermarkets within walking distance so catering in the apartment was easy too. The beds here were amazingly comfortable, with feather pillows. There was aircon in both rooms and shutters to keep the room cool during the heat of the day. Cleaning and sheet changing was excellent and towels provided for the beach a great convenience. Finally the double lined frozen beer glasses were a great innovation. Kept the excellent local beer cold in the heat.

The pool area has little space for sun beds. Renting sunbeds at the beach was very expensive. €15 for two beds and sunshade. This is costly if you go every day.

The accommodation is approximately 25 minutes from the airport. Walking distance to the beach and a small mini market next door. Larger supermarket within walking distance. There are several restaurants close by and a selection of beach bars. The bus into Chania is about 15 minutes and costs just over 1 euro. The resort is quiet but you have the option of Chania or Planatias ( again approximately 15 minutes on the bus) for more choice of restaurants and bars. Andreas and his family were extremely welcoming and there is a small bar and good choice of snacks and simple Greek food available on site. The room was comfortable and the maid came every day for a simple tidy and clean towels and then every few days for a full linen change.

The pool area doesn’t have much space for sun beds. There was always a bed available but it’s very narrow around the side of the pool so would be difficult to have a few beds out at the same time.

- pool - our daughter loved it - the friendly owner Andreas - lovely pool bar and Andreas makes the best Frapé - close to beach and town (15 - 20min walk or just 7mins by bus) - relaxed atmosphere - two cute dogs

- tiny bathroom - kitchen facilities could have been better - there was no drying rack, just a small one that was out of service for some days. It got repaired but it was small and we couldn't dry all our stuff at once

Our stay was perfect, we loved it. We were there with a 22 month old toddler and this apartman was perfect for us. It is very spacious, the kitchen has everything you need, it has a balcony where we stayed every night, it has air conditioning, the pool is nice, etc. The host is very friendly and helpful. The place is very close to a nice beach (less than 5 min), it is close to chania, to the botanical garden, 1 hour drive to balos, falassarna, lake kournas and there is a very good restaurant near. We recommend this place for families with children.

Andreas and family fantastic hosts so obliging. Lovely clean comfortable apartment. Beds made daily and towels changed. Small Kitchen if you want to cook. We ate out, Sterna nearby lovely and Andreas cooking lovely too. Lots of restaurants in Chania a quick bus ride away. Beach a 2 min walk which is beautiful. Sun beds available or shade under a tree. Anderas gave the use of paddle boards too. We hired a car for two days and visited nearby beaches.

A lamp in sitting area would be nice for evening time as lights bright.

Andreas is the perfect host. He is always friendly, customer focussed and really treats you as a guest. Next to that he is excellent cook and if you are staying at Elma's make sure you have dinner there one evening as well. The apartment is super clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and of course we must not forget to mention the co-host of Elma's: Rocky the dog. Nothing, it is a wonderful holiday destination

We really enjoyed our stay at Elma's Dream Apartments. Andreas and his family were helpful, friendly and so relaxed. The apartment was perfect for our family (two adults and a toddler) and we had everything we needed as well as daily cleaning. The main pool was amazing; such a good size and the children's pool perfect for our daughter. We were less than a five minute walk from the beach and about 40 minute walk into Chania, which we didn't mind at all as the views were beautiful along the beach. A good choice of restaurants and supermarkets in the local area. Would recommend Sterna (less than five minutes away) one night if you're in the area! Would definitely book here again. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay at Elmas with Andreas and his family. They were so welcoming and accommodating with us, they provided anything we asked for and great hospitality all around. The apartment was extremely spacious, the photos online dont really do it justice. The weather was very warm when we were there and the apartment was always cool with great air con. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily which was a nice touch with new towels/bedding provided every 3 days or on request. Very comfy beds and seating and good facilites to cook. Our kids loved the pool and had great fun in it with other families. The bar was well stocked and Andreas is a great chef - my kids loved his Chicken Burger and Pizzas! Location is also brilliant with a short walk to beach, local mini market and a great restaurant (Sternas) and coffee shop (Monterno) nearby. We cannot wait to go back - thanks to Andreas for a very memorable experience!
