Nice, spacious and clean apartment, on a good location, with free private parking, kind staff and food Wifi. Close to a nice beaches Agii Apostoli and Golden beach (it can be done on foot), close to many supermarkets and Jumbo and close to the center (by car or bus). We went by car to the center of Chania, there's a big free parking by the Sabbionara bastion and Anatolikis Tafrou theatro, as well as by the Municipal Art gallery (entrance from Sklavenitis market, Pireos str.).

As we were in the ground floor apartment, even though the garden is nice, there are too many Pill bugs (Armadillidiidae), the ones that turn in to a little ball when in danger, in the garden. There was NOT even one bug inside the apartment, but we had to keep the doors shut all the time, because there was always an invasion of the bugs from the grass towards an outdoor sitting furniture. That means there is a high level of moisture in the ground and I think this thing has to be solved somehow, because there are people, like me, that feel a strong displeasure about the invasion of bugs. I understand that there are also people that don't find this a big deal.

Good location, close to super market and a mini market right next door. Nice staff, and impressed by the fast solution when water hose broke, a plumber were on site the same morning. There is beaches in all directions, but I ended up on the sun beds below "Piranha" almost every day as it was particularly nice with a long sandy beach, no rocks, and good temp. Good beds averaged above 80 sleep score on Samsung Health(over 90 some days, and I never get that at home). Rooftop garden for afternoon sun soaking was nice - and quiet, as I was mostly alone up there. The location is good if you like beach relaxation, and if you want to vacation without a rental car, as transport is easily accessible and the daily needs can be covered on foot. There is parking on-site if you are the more exploring type. It's also away from the main street which makes it quiet. I'd recommend it for single or duo travellers.

I only stayed for 14 days.

Clean. Linens are changed frequently. Friendly staff. Free vegetables and fruits on reception every day. Comfortable rooms (we had a triple room on the 2nd floor). Spacious balconies. The sea is just a 3-minute walk away. A great, large supermarket is 2 minutes away. Bus stop 2 minutes. Chania Old Town a 35-minute walk along the seafront. Air conditioning, hot water, a kitchen equipped with everything you need for cooking and eating. Elevator very important. A washing machine with detergent is available for guests to use.

If you book a triple room on the second floor, be prepared that there’s an unfinished building right in front of your balcony. Over time, we stopped noticing it and focused on the sea view instead, but on the first day we were quite shocked, we didn’t know the balcony view would be affected.

️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel – everything was absolutely perfect! The room was comfortable, and well-prepared, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owner, a very kind and attentive lady, made us feel at home and even surprised us with fresh produce from her own garden – such a thoughtful gesture! 🌿 I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant stay. I will definitely come back again!

Location is just perfect! 5 minutes walk to Aptera beach, and 10 minutes walk to the Golden Beach which two are great and beautiful when the weather is windy and you cannot swim for example in Agia Marina. Big advantage that in 2 minutes walk you can reach the bus 21 and 15, which takes you to Chania in 12 minutes ride, and operates until midnight on every apr. 10-15minutes. Just opposite you can find a mini market, and in 5 mins walk there are two very good big supermarket. The apartman is well equipped. Comfy beds, nice terrace with partially view to the see. Comfortable, big apartman with good functioning AC and very clean! :) However for me the location was important I have to say I was most happy with the staff. :) Check in and check out was very smooth, we could leave our luggage there even longer after check out. The recepcionist as well the cleaning personel was just amazing kind, offered every day help, advice and big smile! Every day we had some fresh oranges, grapes, tomatoes to eat for gratis, and big plus that they are selling the local bus tickets as well. I will defenetly go back next time.:) Thank you very much for everything!

In case you want to go for dinner either you need to go to Chania, or walk 15 minutes to Chrissi Akti. There is a big construction site near Aptera beach so this can cause some dust when you walk to the beach, but not noisy at all, and not effecting the apartman.

Good contact with the owner, keys available at any time of the day. Apartment equipped with the necessary equipment. Older generation devices, but functional. Regularly emptied waste bins, change of bed linen, towels. Large balcony, clothes dryer. From the balcony you can see and hear the sea. You can also hear cicadas and a cock. 5 minutes walk to a large market, bus stop and beach. There are several beaches - rocky and sandy. Lifeguards on every beach. Delicious tomatoes, oranges, grapes available every day. Quiet area.

The shower tray in the bathroom was quite worn out.

The owner was so kind and Helpful ( for example in organising an excursion to Samaria Gorge). The atmosphere was really amazing. Fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden were offered for free at the reception . At the room we found coffee , tea , olive Oli . It was really nice. The location is really good - not in the crowded city centre, but not so far away from it that we could easily walk there every day. Thank you again for a such a great Greek hospitality! We will definitely be back to your apartment in the future:)

Really nice location of the hotel. It takes only a few minutes to get to a quiet and beautiful beach. When You arrive at the hotel You can feel a very welcoming atmosphere and grab some fruites and vegetables from the owners. Rooms are kept clean and amenities adequate for the price. It is also good to note that in 15 mins on the foot You can get to the Chania.

The kitchen part of the room was a little dated.

Great location, very close to the beach, supermarkets and bus stop. Only 7-8 minutes with bus to the center. The room was clean, it had everything we needed, new towels and sheets on day 3, and they cleaned our room every day. There is a washing machine at the rooftop that we used, it was a life saver! The woman at the reception was very nice, and she arranged us a taxi to the airport. We recommend it.

My daughter and I were going on our mother and daughter vacation. Since we couldn't find a package tour, we decided to book flights and find a hotel ourselves. As we love the area around Nea Chora, especially the beaches, the result fell on Ilona apartments... Normally we are pool types, so it was a bit with skepticism. But it was immediately knocked down when the sea showed itself from its good side. Warm and quiet. The hotel has everything you need for accommodation. There are shopping facilities within a short distance. A small kiosk only 25 meters away and a supermarket 300 meters away. Will gladly come again.

The dogs next to the hotel are very noisy in the night.
