The room is spacious with a door opening on to a patio. The bed is real Queen size bed of top quality. The brealfast was served in a warm welcoming area with and beautiful view over the garden an valleys. The food was very well prepared. Great value for money

As the shower is in the very big bath we suggest that the rooms be supplied with a anti slip mat to be placed inside the bath when the shower is being used. Specially for eldery people.

Beautiful setting with hilltop views, very well laid out buildings and garden. Nice touch having the electric blanket turened on before our arrival. Good access from the N3 and into Nottingham Road.

I requested a vegetarian breakfast for my wife. Unfortunately there seemed little experience of the requirement and so it became an "English breakfast minus meat and eggs". Very basic cereal choice, no fruit. The shower in the bathroom was of the stand in the slippery bath type which is a bit daunting for older folk.

Enormous rooms, beautifully appointed. We were cautious about the size of the rooms when we saw the online pictures, but the rooms really ARE that big! Although the furnishings are slightly dated, they add to a lovely old world country feeling. Great views from the lovely huge verandah; perfect to relax with a book and a glass of wine. The underfloor heating, electric blanket and heated towel rails will be great for the cold winter nights! Very friendly staff, the young lady who checked us in promptly brought the items we asked for and couldn't have been more accommodating.. Jan, the manager, was very welcoming and gave us useful advice on places to see and restaurants to visit.

Water pressure in the shower was unfortunately very low - so not a very pleasant shower.. Would have liked a bar fridge Coffee and tea station could be improved by adding some personal touches like rusks and specialty teas.

I loved that we had the facility to ourselves for 2 nights. Thembi was outstanding, always making sure we had everything we required. Always ready to cook our scrumptious breakfast in the mornings. Thembi went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable she was very friendly. She helped us find a good restaurant nearby so we could have dinner on Friday night. A big thank you to Amy as well, who was in contact with us all the time to ensure that all was in order during our travels to Arum Hills.

The only thing that was not enjoyed was loadshedding but that was something out of one's control. We had suffient light in our rooms while loadshedding was on and we had a lovely fire in the lounge area to keep us warm while waiting for load shedding to finish.

From the booking, the welcome to the departure, everything was so organized and efficient. Sma (hope I spelled it right) was an absolute gem. She welcomed us warmly and made us a hearty, delicious brekkie with a smile for our early departure. The rooms were super comfy and clean, and what a spectacular setting. Thank you, we'll be back Xxx

The manager accommodated us when we needed an early check in and was very friendly and and welcoming. the rooms were spotless, warm and comfortable.

I would have preferred a good filter coffee with my breakfast and not just instant! Otherwise the breakfast was delicious and the setting was gorgeous!

Good breakfast and beautiful location.

The utensils in the kitchen are old and need replacing. The kitchen sink is leaking into the cupboard.

Location, breakfast, and the facilities. Jan was helpful with providing information about the place beforehand and responding to our early breakfast request. The lady's friendliness.

Cleanliness needs attention. Ensure that the bathroom has bath mat, and dust the furniture in the main house. Besides the above, we enjoyed the place.

What a wonderful place to stay, from the whatsapp message on the day of arrival giving us some pertinent details, which then allowed us to correspond more easily, to the warm welcome when we arrived. Lovely big, airy rooms leading out to a big verandah. Well furnished rooms, big comfy bed, coffee tea station, hair dryer, towels etc. Beautiful views. Lovely breakfast. Overall a fantastic, incredibly well priced location. Highly recommended!
