This hotel was perfectly located and charming. It was very close to the sights and restaurants. Front desk staff were helpful when asked for info about sights, places to eat etc. The rooms were a decent size and very clean and comfortable. We did not use the pool but it was in a lovely setting with flowering plants. If it was hotter and I had more time I would have taken advantage of it. Parking was available but it was not right next to the hotel. You need to get to the hotel by foot as it is in a pedestrian only area. I did so and the person at the front desk was very helpful. She gave us directions to the garage and met us there to make sure the pass worked. She even helped us with our luggage. Advice: If you reserve parking with them, call when you get close by the hotel and they will give you instructions and will meet you at the garage if they can. It's not far away but pack light!

I would have preferred to have breakfast available at the hotel rather than at a nearby restaurant but it seems to be a common arrangement in Split and Dubrovnik. The restaurant breakfast was good but I like the convenience of having the meal in the hotel.

The staff were exceptional from our 1st welcome to our final goodbyes. The location was perfect for our visit in easy reach of all the bars and restaurants along the front and in town as well as some hidden gems we found along the way. Close to the old town for sightseeing and the harbour where a ferry or boat excursion is available to take you to close-by islands. The hotel has just 13 rooms in 2 buildings,so although compact the property is also very personal. Our choice of bed and breakfast meant a short walk to a local restaurant for breakfast, the selection was varied, cooked fresh and served to our table where we could sit overlooking the promenade and watch the locals and tourists alike go about their morning activities.

We are not needy guests so therefore as far as we are concerned everything was great.

The staff was very friendly and provided a great recommendation for food. They were able to provide a parking spot nearby. The room was comfortable and had a wonderful view. The location was close to everything we wanted to see but also quiet.

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are comfortable and clean, attractive building. Great location near the seafront and restaurants. Breakfast is not on-site but vouchers are provided for a nearby Brasserie, which was lovely. Great little pool. We arrived late evening after the reception had closed but received instructions on how to access our key, we couldn't find the room initially as ours was in the opposite building but staff responded immediately to our message for help!

The room was very clean. And it was bigger than in the pictures. The property itself is a piece of art and we felt entrenched in the architecture of Split. It’s a 5 min walk to all the major attractions of Split and right across from the promenade. The staff were especially nice. We went for a daytrip after we checked out and they let us keep our suitcases at the hotel for free. They even let us come back and use the bathrooms to get changed and gave us the key so that we could collect our suitcases at night even when the staff had left. We just had to lock the main door and leave the keys in the mailbox. Would recommend this hotel to anyone coming into Split. Excellent location. Excellent service. Excellent staff.

This is a very charming family run hotel in a pedestrian zone in splits old town . It’s very charming has a nice pool and the rooms are small but well equipped and the bathrooms were clean with excellent showers . There is no restaurant on site which was very inconvenient for us but they will deliver food from local restaurants which were great . Breakfast is in a restaurant a long walk away which in 3rd green heat with my 79year old mother was just too far but we had delicious avocado and toast delivered to us to eat on the hotels veranda which was gorgeous. This is an excellent hotel but it is NOT for anyone who has bad knees or is incapacitated in any way . The stairs are steep stone with no handrail and it’s 3 stories high . You have to drag your bags 150yards from the taxi as they can’t get any nearer and walk down hill to get any food and back up again so if you can go but if you can’t walk well , don’t

No restaurant on site , no handrails and very steep stairs

What an absolute little gem of a hotel, hidden a stone’s throw from the old town. Staff are lovely - nothing is too much for them. The rooms are beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The pool is a godsend after a day’s sightseeing. Breakfast is a 5 minute walk away at a lovely little Brasserie on the Riva overlooking the water, with a lovely choice of breakfast items - a lovely way to start the day. Thank you. I hope we’ll be back again soon.

This hotel was really beautiful and rustic, the pool was great and enough sun loungers for all the guests. The staff were all really friendly. The room was clean and great shower, and good A/C. Breakfast was good - it was at a separate restaurant a couple minutes walk away on the promenade which was really nice!

Our room (number 3) had a slightly funny smell, a bit like drains, in it sometimes, went away with the A/C and you only really noticed it when you walked in.

Staff were so lovely, hotel felt intimate and comfy with a great location in the gorgeous little back streets in the old town, walking distance from everything. Bed was comfortable, mini fridge well stocked and not overpriced, aircon worked great and toiletries provided were Rituals which we loved. (Also provided sanitary products in the room which is such a great touch!). Would definitely stay again and recommend to other couples or solo travellers.

Only tiny comment would be lack of shade by the pool but the pool was so refreshing we just stayed put in there! Was also exceptionally hot during our stay.

A small but lovely hotel located in the cliff side overlooking the harbour, waterfront and old town - which are all a 5 minute walk away. There are also nice restaurants and bars near by which are located between the hotel and the central palace area. The building is nestled in amongst narrow streets, alleyways and old buildings which gives the whole area a certain rustic charm and the hotel blends in perfectly with this. The fact they have found space in this setting to create a beautiful pool area is impressive, it is smaller than some but used well and never really overcrowded as it is limited to guest's use - we never struggle to get a good spot anyway. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were always clean and the aircon and shower facilities all worked perfectly.... This all added up to brilliant stay in Split and we would definitely return.
