If within budget, book a room with a view of Napoli and Mt. Vesuvius, absolutely breath-taking!! Lovely staff, helping throughout our stay. There is a shuttle bus leaving about every hour to take you to town - very convenient!

Buffet Breakfast - great choice and very good quality ; all the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Evening meals - a bit more pricey compared to restaurants in Sorrento town - however quality and choice was very good. We had booked a sea view room; however, we were given an upgrade to a Garden View Sea View Room, which was a treat and lovely surprise, allowing us to see the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The room was comfortable, plenty of space, immaculately clean, plenty of storage space and a fridge. The free shuttle bus worked really well and always on time. We would definitely return.

Bathroom Towels are tired - would have expected a better quality. Small Safe - not big enough for ipad or laptop.

Had a great time from start to finish. This hotel is a jem in sorrento. With a free shuttle bus that runs every hour to drop you a shirt distance into the town. The view from our room was just class. The cleanliness of room and hotel are second to none. The food is beautiful and the staff are excellent . They cant do enough for you and are so friendly. The inky criticism is breakfast. I would of loved more selection of freshly chopped fruit. But its a small point as breakfast was lovely.

This hotel truly has the best views in Sorrento. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. A cot was set up for our daughter in the room which we really appreciated it. The view from our room was absolutely spectacular. We had a gorgeous dinner in the restaurant during our stay. The staff are really fabulous. We would definitely stay again.

You can’t easily walk to town from the hotel but they do run a frequent shuttle bus. The food and drink is pretty expensive but we found the Amalfi Coast in general to be quite expensive. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing view from the balcony. Exceptionally high standards of housekeeping and maintenance of the room. Beautiful tiled floors in the room. Small fridge. Tea and coffee kettle station. Delicious buffet breakfast with so much choice, flaky croissants and omelette station and fresh fruit!

Everything was great. If I had to find something it would be the walls are thin - were below the restaurant so could hear all the chairs scraping on the floor every morning and could hear the person in the room next to us coughing - but it did not affect our sleep. Also if TV had Netflix option as only English channels were news channels

Amazing panoramic views from room (superior sea view), piano bar, rooftop terrace and restaurant.. Room was spotless, comfortable, spacious, nice bathroom amd shower and balcony with stunning view of sorrento and vesuvius. Lunchtime food in pool snack bar was excellent and menu for evening meal looked lovely although we didnt have the opportunity to eat there. The hourly free shuttle bus to and from the town was excellent, punctual and a godsend considering the hotel is located high up on a cliff overlooking sorrento with a winding road which would be too dangerous to walk and a taxi is €30 one way!. Breakfast choice was vast and liked the egg bar for fresh omelettes, poached, boiled and fried. Hotel staff friendly. courteous and helpful. Food and drink very reasonably priced for a 4 star hotel

Wasps outside on restaurant terrace.very annoying! - suggest some citronella or other deterrent. Scrambled eggs at breakfast were cold every morning. Entertainment was poor with the exception of the Fri night pianist. You need to ask reception to turn on air conditioning from their control panel otherwise it doesnt work. This is not clear when you check in nor mentioned in the literature provided. Nothing to do with the hotel but we have to mention the appaling service, unfriendly and extortionate pricing taxis are charging in Naples and Sorrento. This reputation is extremely detremental to your tourism trade and was a common complaint through discussion with many other holiday makers during our visit.

A group of 6, 2 arrived without passports ... living in Italy, but being Canadians, we forgot we still need to travel w our passports... with very helpful and friendly staff, we were still able to complete our check-in. Staff also upgraded our rooms to make our friends' birthday even more special. Our rooms were amazing and overlooked the sea. The facility was stunning, clean, and beautiful. We had breakfast that was included the next day. It was good. The valet gentleman helped my friend park her car in a better location in the lot so she would feel better about it not being damaged. It was very appreciated. There was a shuttle with organized timing, which we were very grateful for when going to centro Sorrento. The driver was very friendly and even played a Canadian song for us when he found out we were from Canada. Overall, we had an amazing time/experience at ur beautiful hotel. You had amazing staff all around. We will visit again. Thank you.

The hotel is lovely. Breakfast was amazing, the staff was equally amazing. Our room was a nice size and the view was spectacular! We also had a free shuttle into town which was great.

The room was nice but a little dated, the decor needs an upgrade as well as the bathroom. Also, it would be nice if the pool had longer hours, with kids it would be nice to go for an evening swim after going on a tour or walking all day, hours should be extended to 9 pm.

I had an incredible stay at the Grand Hotel President in Sorrento! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a private villa, which offered stunning views of the coast—absolutely breathtaking. The villa itself was immaculate and spacious, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was outstanding. The menu had a separate vegetarian section, and every dish I tried was delicious. The quality of the ingredients and the presentation were top-notch. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I also have to mention the cleanliness of the hotel, which was impeccable throughout. The staff was always around to assist, and their knowledge of English made everything seamless. The entire experience was incredibly relaxing, and I truly felt like I was in the best hands. Highly recommend this hotel if you're ever in Sorrento—definitely a five-star experience!

Nice bright room, nice big deck, nice blackout shutters, friendly front desk, nice green space with seating area with views. Lots of loungers and umbrellas too. Convenient shuttle that runs often and isn’t full. Omelette station.

Unheated kiddie pool. Likely not an issue in June to Aug but frigid in May. No food on pool deck, bad lunch restaurant food, weak/poor value cocktails from pool. Despite having a stroller, shuttle driver didn’t offer to let us put it in the back of the van, rather than having to maneuver it into a seat on board.
