I was pleasantly surprised at the size of room 401! The double bed was very comfy! Ensuite was a good size & having a fridge was a bonus! Clothes rack was excellent too! I loved the thick towels in my room too! I saw staff cleaning the kitchen & changing the sheets on the dsy beds next to the wonderful pool so place is kept clean! It was next door to ‘Shenanigans’ where they have $8 pints and the band playing was fabulous! Coles & Woolies are nearby! Plenty of taxis about gif the airport run the next morning.

I really thought it was all positive - esp being able to still use the pool & have towels to use & bathroom to use as well as the kitchen even though we had to vacant the room by 10am!!! The only very small thing was having lots of shampoo but no hair conditioner?

I liked how spacious the kitchen/dining room area. Breakfast provided was great. Had your own locker. I also liked that you had your own plate for the duration of your stay. Towels provided

The room size was a little small. I wish we had plug sockets near the bed, we had to share 2 sockets between 4 people, no where near your own bed.

Clean, friendly team, fab location and we had booked a communal room as a couple but ended pretty much in a private communal room (no one else checked in to ours) so that was nice. Aircon was great in the room

Only thing is that the pillows are quite flat but other than that, great property.

Everything you read in the opinions is a lie, here is the only truth, this is the best place you could stay in Darwin, the only hostel that you will have a comfortable stay, with nice people, AMAZING staff and great location, I saw some opinions that mention that music is too loud and don't let you sleep, absolutely false, there's great parties until 10 and you can sleep peacefully in your room all day long if you want to, no one bothers you after that, but if you want to go out, just cross the street and you will have the best clubs in town. I've been living here for two months, working everyday, and I never had a problem, there's a guy called Patrick in the reception that helps you out if you are looking for a job and is the best guy I've met here he found me tons of interviews and help me out if I had a problem with everything else. I've been in others hostels and I returned here everytime. Love this place. Receptionists are beautiful girls with the best carisma, and any complain you could have they will help you out inmideately. If you still don't trust me give it a chance first and then try another hostel, I'm sure you will come back here. Love it.

I work too much, I would like to enjoy the pool longer haha

Everything was very clean from the rooms to the kitchen and the showers and bathroom. I didnt need it but the Job Shack seemed to be very helpful for people looking for a job in the area.

My only griefs are the power plugs in the rooms that arent accessible at all from the beds and there’s only two of them per room which is not very convenient. Also, 12$ to wash and dry feels very expensive!

The rooms were fine, you really get what you pay for, beds were pretty comfortable. Location is everything, right in the city centre, a backpackers dream. The vibe was great, people are friendly, 24 hour check in was great, and key card access were good. Rooms in the mixed dorms (level 500) were much nicer than female only (level 200), next time I would ask for a bed in that area, as there was also a sink in the room and proper bag storage.

Bathrooms were dirty, cleaners were cleaning the bathrooms before 10am, so it made showering before checkout impossible. Rooms could use a good scrub too and more PowerPoints.

Location was great, lots of bars /clubs and eateries around. I loved the people at the hostel, this is what made my stay even better. the pool was nice and I had a quiet room.

If the beds had curtains it would be perfect, however this wasn't a huge issue for me.

stayed in a private room. love that reception is 24/7. we can hear the loud music/noise from the streets but we knew what we were getting into - knowing it's right on mitchell st. didn't really bother us though as we still were able to sleep well. close to woolies and coles, close to most hotel pick ups for tours. 10/10 recommend!

I loved the pool and the weekly activities People seemed very nice too

Some of the stuff were very rude to the girls in my room :c Also you're not supposed to change the AC settings, but it was super cold in my room. Plus no lifts, only stairs (and 3 floors of rooms). And the breakfast flies easily, if you go at 7:30 you may find it pretty empty..

Property is in the centre of the city close to everything, clubs are close and vibe in the city is great. Staff are amazing, job shack inside the hostel is very helpful in finding jobs.

Rate was too much for going into wet season, aircon in the room was super loud and the instructions on the wall say not to turn it off due to condensation
